Spoken like a true investor. This stock is for the long haul and I expect a great future for CRAiLAR. Just a little patience is all we need as output starts to pick up.
Hard to say since there is very little info available. I guess we'll have to wait for the April 18th conference call to get a gauge of how the Pamplico facility output is doing. Nevethereless, at these prices, I am adding to my position.
It will be a major U.S. exchange according to Ken, so it could either be the NASDAQ or New York Stock Exchange in my opinion.
You are correct. In addition to the revenues coming just around the corner, the announcement of a major stock exchange listing should definitely help the stock. The best thing they have going is that their facility is now truly cranking CRAiLAR fiber and the demand is there for the fiber so it's just a waiting game. Once revenues beginning to trickle in, our patience should eventually pay off since it should begin to attract institutional investors and other major players. If they do hit $1 lbs/week by the end of the year as forecasted, that will be a major milestone to begin paying off debt.
I read in their 2012 10-K that there are plans for building a second facility for 2014 so lets hope that Ken and company keep up the excellent leadership.
On a side note, there are some states like Kentucky passing bills to allow hemp to be grown for industrial purposes so let's hope that this opens up the possibilities for CRAiLAR in the United States.
And today's announcement regarding the presentation at the 25th Annual ROTH Conference going on March 18th-20th should help attract institutional investors as the move to a major stock exchange listing draws nearer.
Let's hope we hear some strong news from Ken and Ted in the conference call scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
The Cone Denim agreement announced today should be a major hit, especially since Levi's gets their denim through Cone, and so do others. Nice!
At last, CRAiLAR product on the shelves! Here's the quote from the link you provided, Nebula:

Nice!
Shouldn't be too long before we hear some news. We are due for an update regarding the major stock exchange listing and hopefully some positive news on SC farmers coming onboard to plant flax as a winter crop.
To answer your question, personally, I am completely sold on Crailar. This fibre is as natural as you can get with sustainability being the icing on the cake. I believe it is coming out at the right time, especially with the destructive nature of cotton and the limitations on the amount of land needed that cannot keep up with future cotton demand. Right now the company is starting production and the future looks bright with big players like Hanes as clients. IMHO, more production agreeements, a pending major stock exchange listing, additional production facilities, and their CRAiLEX process should make this company a hit in the coming years.
Indeed! Hopefully we get that factory cranking this week...

Flax-tastic: Production starts soon

I remember reading somewhere that if they get to 10M lbs/week production, they should be at ~$500M/year revenue and ~$1.60 EPS with lots of free cashflow.
Perhaps they might consider paying dividends at that time, but who knows?
Nevertheless, the Crailar story is just beginning with a strong leadership at the helm. And oh yes, let's not forget that CRAiLEX production is not be too far behind. That should definitely bring in a lot more money than CRAiLAR.

We are almost ready for prime time!
Can't wait for Dec. 17th!
Very strange price per share flunctions lately. I'm wondering what could be the cause without any news. Nevertheless, it is still giving buyers a great oppurtunity to add to their position.
Yes, only a few minor things like the financial links and list of partners and their links.
Pamplico Facility should be cranking by December 31st and thus begins our production story. Time to load up boys.
Big day indeed. Prices like these will not be around for long! Wish I had more money to throw into this little gem.
Sure. Will be happy to help out. Thank you.
Hi Nebula, thanks for updating the IBOX.
At first glance, you might want to also update the common shares as stated on page 1 of their June 30th, 2012:
http://www.crailar.com/sites/default/files/investors/financial_reports/NAT-2012-Q2.pdf?download=1
"42,739,050 shares of common stock as of August 3, 2012."
Thanks.
I remember reading about a year ago that the stock should be around ~$30 in 2017, but since financing was a bit late, that may move back to 2018. Then again, with so new customers and JV's in the pipeline, that can change quickly!
In case you haven't heard it, below is the PDF transcript of NAT's October 24th Investor Update Call:
http://www.crailar.com/sites/default/files/investors/events/NAT%2010.24.12%20Investor%20Update%20Call.pdf?download=1
Found it even more fascinating after reading and finding details I missed when I first heard it, so definitely check it out if you could. Very strong IMO.
No problem, my pleasure. I have been following this board for over a year now and finally decided to join since I wanted to contribute. The company is still under the radar so we should take advantage and add to our position at this low prices.
NAT's CEO, Ken Barker, stated in the conference call that NAT should be going cash-flow positive in Q2 of 2013, with production scheduled to begin in December, 2012 and fully ramped to 450K lbs per week by the end of February, 2013.
Check out the conference call if you get a chance. Our patience should soon be rewarded.
The reason for the recent surge is due to the company conference call held last Wednesday, Oct. 25th. You can hear it (~35 mins long) in its entirety at:
http://www.crailar.com/company/investors
Look under the "Events" section to find the link to webcast replay link.
Here are some of the news from the conference call:
1) Pamplico facility should begin operations in late December of this year.
2) New customer partnerships in the works (interest in developing natural and synthetic Crailar fiber blends).
3) Existing partnership advancements and marketing opportunities.
4) Acreage expansion opportunities in Europe and Russia/Belarus.
5) Company name change expected by the end of month to Crailar Technologies, Inc.
6) And much more exciting news!
This bad boy is well positioned for a nice run-up as it transitions from a pre-production to a full production company.
At this prices, this one is a keeper for a while!
