The R/S isn't dilutive. The financing that will come after is. R/S or not, they need cash. How are they gonna get it? PIPE....
I'm going to buy after the RS and the PIPE.... eom
Regardless of good info I think we'll see a RS with a stock offering. They need cash... eom
I don't believe we are treating the second round of patients in Georgia yet. I think we are waiting to shore up finances. This probably will be some kind of debt financing. Will a deft financing hurt our stock price?
I think there will be a RS and then a stock offering. The sad part is how far will that get them they burn through 30 million a year. I'm just trying to figure what might be a good time to buy before or after the RS.
All they do is waist money. I bet anti virul is stopped, cotara might be stopped to say money too.
Does anyone know if we have started the 2nd phase of patients in Georgia or are they on hold because of cash?
Will a debt financing hurt our stock price? eom
Yes Lemmy the report came out already. You didn't see it?
Will, well said. Things are moving along. Slowly at first but moving. The only thing that bothers me is I think management is niave as to the stock market. They seem to throw out news and hope for a pop. Maybe I am wrong, they may have a plan. It is all going to come down to the results.
Joe
Naked: Why don't you phone in and ask that? When that call comes around there are very few people asking questions compared to how many people ask here. I've never had a problem getting on the phone call and asking question..
Kudos to management for getting this deal done and better yet keeping it quiet till they did. I wonder why they didn't try to put this out before the russell? Unless they didn't want to get on it. The russell just seemed to cause us problems. I could be wrong but it seemed that way.
Joe
Halal: You may want to be safe. Put in a stop loss order at .36 cents. This way you can't lose anymore money. What do you think?
Hmmm, what is our fate? Reverse Split and stock offer or delisting? Are we ever gonna start India or get Duke paper? Why isn't it a mass selloff right now? No one is happy except the shorts. The company is quiet as usual. Is nothing going on maybe? EZ is quiet, BOT, Jazz, everone.
My guess is a reverse split and then some kind of offering of shares. Remember we still need to raise cash for futher trials if we are going it alone. The question is what are they doing in the short term for cash?
Wild: Unless you know something that the rest of us don't then why aren't you nervous as the PPS goes down daily?
By mid july we have our CC. What will we have done to raise some cash? Will we have raised some cash? How?
SP, when you've been here for a few years and seen your stock go from around 1.50 to .39 it hurts a little. When you don't have faith in management you are right or in the BOD then you are right it is time to leave. But we all choose are own path. Mine will be to stay and wait it out. Your path is to keep on telling us that it will happen SOON.
Was that one of the articles management was talking about when they said we see some articles coming out. I mean we did make it in Forbes. Management must be proud. The BOD must be estatic. What a good job they have done. How much more money can the suck out of the investors. I see a reverse split in the future with another offering at the same time possibly. Even with that will management live on the pipe again?
The delay at Duke was due to IP rights. Hopefully they have worked them out.
Jake: How can we get booted from the russell? I thought we weren't on it?
JAZZ; As usual, thanks for the aticles. Very interesting. Just hoping one day someone will publish one about Bavi....
All good questions. We can sell or stay. Let's place our bets....
Maybe it is all a farce. Does anyone actually know someone who has been treated with bavi or cotara? If so, maybe it was just water.
On a serious note. Management seems to have trouble going through the hurdles of getting things done. So, we all would like to see a new boss come in (a partner etc.) But, what if no one wants to partner with us? That is what we don't know...
Maybe Bavi and Cotara are not any good and we are all going to lose the money we invested. Time will tell. All of us or the majority of us I'm guessing are way under water currently.
BOT, thanks for you thoughts. You are in a interesting position that people eagerly seek your thoughts then take out there frustration on you. I stand corrected on a previous email. The topics you post on are usually very accurate, but what is out of your control is the time lines. Your latest post sounds accurate to me and very feasible. The question none of us know is the time lines. The Russell and the Nasdaq are coming up and will the company have enough ammo to get through those. The one thing I have heard that I like very much is that the company has tightened its belt and is only spending money on things that are neccessary for our current trials. Good luck to all of us.
Slip: From your fingers to gods ear. Triple digits though? Is that counting decimals. :)
Of course we all want to hear from BOT. He always has good things to say. Not much of them come true, but they always lift our spirits. I don't blame him he could be getting fed very optomistic information. The company is moving forward. Just at a slow pace. They need help, but they either want to much money or don't want the help. Either way I would assume we are coming to the end of our line. We need cash. How do we raise it? A pipe currently? Don't know. Partner Avid? Don't know. Someone to buy one of our other drugs? Don't know. Are we far enough along to interest a potential partner? THAT IS THE BIG QUESTION?
EZ: That is good news, but we are at .39 cents. How does the company plan on rectifying this with a reverse splite and more dilution?
Is it management or the BOD we want changed? I'm guessing the BOD.
By that time we'll be around 20 if it keeps on going tis way...eom
BOT: What do you hear about the SOB's on the Cinn exchange?
Can't wait for ASCO. That should bring us down to 0. EOM
We haven't had any news come out that would move the stock. More mice are saved. That is about it.....eom
My guess is that Georgia enrollment is going well. Just don't know on the follow up scans. Plus, when will we hear about the 15 patients or the 2nd phase? India, who knows, red tape, etc. Cotara in india, how many patients now? We had 8 at our CC. We have 8 sites up and running. HCV I think is slow right now so they can focus on the other stuff. So, the big question, money? Also, the ellusive paper from duke. Plus what will it say? The only way we are going to get over a dollar is if someone brings us there on purpose. If these guys don't have that setup then we are doomed. eom
Any words of encouragement from anyone? The best part of the week for this stock is the weekend when it isn't trading. eom
Thanks Jazz, do you think we've treated 15 patients yet for Bavi in Georgia?: eom
Jazz: In your opinion why wouldn't they PR more data? That PR seemed bland. Entdoc over on RB thinks the PR was good. Though he may be been being sarcastic. eom
Mustbe: This stock could easily move 100% if we had news or someone wanted it to move. Like you stated it went from .36 to .72 in a few days.
Lover: We don't get big news. These guys haven't had any big news in 20 years. All they do is save mice and more research. It's like a broken record. They keep on repeating the same mistakes over and over. I thought that PR was pretty worthless. If anyone disagrees please show me the error in my ways. eom
