Thanks for sharing, HighGround. Perhaps if more investors contacted Ben, they might understand that things are progressing and that Ben is just as frustrated with management, and maybe more so, since he has a large number of shares.
“Reverse Merger”?????? Was this a slip by Ben?
Thanks GTman1.
For those wondering how KBLB might meet the high demand of recombinant spider silk:
"Recognition by the Vietnamese government of our specialized spider silk technologies opens new doors and opportunities for production expansion within Vietnam."
I think this means that they might expand by “subcontracting” the silk making to other sericulture farmers in the country. They have talked about giving eggs to other farmers and buying back the silk in the past. This could make for rapid expansion.
What do you think TUTH?
This silk farming explanation is really cool:
https://www.ahi-intl.farm/amp/silkworm-farming
Covers just about everything you want to know in one place. I found some new estimates and information in here that was unknown to me so sharing it with the group.
IMHO
Thanks SilkRoad

Not at the rate they're going....
What rate is that exactly?
Why won’t they produce that certain amount if not can’t?
I found this interesting from Polartec's website:https://polartecmilitary.com/pages/project-x
Anybody know how long this has been there?
Dear TRUTH,
Let me start by thanking you and saying that I have enjoyed and appreciated your willingness to share your DD and opinions, both pro and con regarding KBLB over the many years.
I would like to know the "whole of it" if you could.
Here's what I think might happen: The S-1 will be amended/extended or a new S-1 will be put out with the same information except to take affect at a later date (September?) when the first batch of silk has been produced. Kim doesn't need a shareholder meeting,(Nasdaq requirement) but not on Nasdaq yet, plus he is the Board of Directors and he has the majority of votes. He can do what he wants. Maybe he listened to those who thought this was rushed.
That's how I read that too.
Thanks Truth.
"You just don't get it. The folks that truly matter don't give a rip about typos or how poorly the press conference was communicated. Companies like Milliken/Polartec and DuPont are looking at what is said and written by KBLB. That is where the money lies, not with typos and verbal deliverance."
Maybe you're just looking at this from a potential buyout angle, but with all due respect Bob, perhaps the thing that you don't get, is that it DOES MATTER. It matters to potential investors, these new investors is how you get the pps up, how Kim gets to his goal of getting to NASDAQ. To get the price per share up new investors need to be compelled to invest and these amateurish presentations actually have the opposite affect.
I'm pretty sure this has been posted in the past:

Instead of using bacteria Kraig could use larger proteins.
Also, what do you think about spider silk proteins for 3D printing... the possibilities are endless.
Thank you for the reply GTman1. I do believe that the platform worm will be the announcement on Thursday. As I have mentioned before, when asked at the ASM when 100% spider silk will be achieved, Kim answered "within 12 months". I think that if you are able to have 100% spider silk, then you have 100% knock-out and knock-in, ergo that would be the platform worm.
GTman1,
Thank you for your contributions to the board. When Kraig Labs manufactures these existing pharmaceutical proteins, do you know what regulatory hoops they would have to jump through to get the necessary approvals? How long would it take to begin manufacturing?
If Kraig Labs partners with a pharmaceutical company, do you have any guesses as to who that might be?
Quote:
Possibly the creation of 100% pure spider silk?
Could be a new gene expression platform...
Whatever it is...
We'll find out soon enough.
I agree Truth, I would think you are both right.
If it is a 100% spider silk worm, then it is a 100% knock-out and knock-in, therefore wouldn't that give you your platform worm?
At the last shareholder meeting, when replying to the question "How close are we to getting a 100% spider silk worm?" Kim said Dr. Kane was working on it (knock out - knock in) and thought it could be accomplished/announced within 12 months.
Have a listen to this podcast interview of Randy Lewis from October 2019. He says his biggest challenge is mass production.

Regarding today's PR, I'm guessing limpet teeth DNA.

Dr. Kaplan was very briefly on KBLB's Scientific Advisory Board back in 2011.
Thank You GeradF, greatly appreciated.

5. What kind of technology and materials are used in your SpydaSilk collection?
M: SPYDASILK(TM) uses high performance, high-quality materials blended with a proprietary spider silk material to create a high-tech concept series fashion line. The collection we are showing at this year’s show is more streetwear-inspired and extremely functional.
When I first read this, and saw the word concept, I was a little disappointed. Was it just a concept with Kraig's silk to be used in the real line in the future?
The "roughly" 50 000 ft2 facility in Quang Nam. Same building??

Thank you for sharing your DD, greatly appreciated your "doses" of reality.
I'm curious to get your take on where we are at right now. Specifically regarding what phase we are in at Prodigy.
If MARD was the hold up, would they even let Kim send worms for crossbreeding?
Thanks for the link Truth. Do you think this process might allow the existing mundane silk players to object to these GMO worms? It might make their worms obsolete, if KBLB has their way.
A recurring theme: "We may consider purchasing an asset as part of our up-listing strategy"
I too was expecting a PR with "real news" prior to the CC. Why have a CC when updates can and have been given in the Spider Sense newsletters?
T4O,
Did you check your spam folder? That's where I just found mine even though I had received Kim's prior email March 24th.
