Phot is going to need a little more than lighting products to make it through the next quarter. This is buying season for serious growers and the aerophonics, hydrophonics, , bubbletronics, oxyphonics, ebb & flow, deep water culture, nutramist, ect. are being offered all over the web and some have free shipping or very light shipping charges. That, not to mention the array of inventors on utube displaying their versions of these systems for half the cost.
Phot seems to be relying on acquisitions which they paid 150-million shares for based on a performance clause, ie; sales of their products. So as much as I want to be faithful to phot, realistically the company needs to revamp its business model or something. IMHO
PHOT does more than promote marijuana. If you want Wall Street to recognize this company with its full potential (selling products associated with growing) then we need a Digital Advertising Billboard in Times Square, to wit:
PHOT PRESENTS
SOLUTIONS FOR THE 21ST CENTURY

Isn't the lone bird mm a blessing to this company? If the stock were to rise to high, the blackbirds would take flight out the barn window and this company would be left without funds. People are too impatient and should wait for the supply chain to be built. There are so many opportunities in the wings. I was just sittin here smiling about Bloomberg and his despair over paper cups and sugar drinks. How about juice bars in NY schools? How about greenhouses in parts of the world where children starve every 14-seconds for lack of food. How about a Samsung screen in Times Square campaigning for such simple alternatives with sponsors to back them up. I like this little mm like a gerbil in a squirrel cage keeps this company from the carpet baggers.
I am just a gardner and want to clone Peonies.

yum...I was wondering whats going to develop with their shipping issues. I own stock so naturally I want to buy from Greners, for example. Notice the difference in prices (shipping) that to be true to my company I would have to pay??? Do they have an 18-wheeler delivering equipment to their distribution centers and if they do wouldn't it be possible to simply store the large pieces in Storage Rooms for $80 a month and have someone nearby (in out of reach places) that could deliver them perhaps. See what I mean. Even a trucker with a cell phone and scheduled deliveries would work.

media, you make so much sense sometimes. I know you mentioned in another post that setting up distribution centers would be beneficial and today after realizing that the delivery on the system I want is $455.00 in shipping charges alone, I stop to ask a question. You know Amazon is located in Seattle, I wonder if they will be attending this meeting of the minds. -IF- distribution centers for all these various products were warehoused within a few miles of Amazon distribution centers, then wouldn't that help to streamline the process and cut the shipping costs a little. The first thing a farmer or grower thinks when confronted with this extra expense, is all the possibilities of sidestepping by creating their own variations on the theme. So in the long run, it would be advantageous to have these products within arms reach. If Amazon is good for anything, its their proficiency. Here are a list of their distribution centers in the USA. They are worldwide, of course.
Fulfillment Centers:
Arizona
California
Delaware
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Nevada
New Hampshire
Pennsylvania
South Carolina
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
Correct me if I am reading something more into this but it appears that in this press release they are stating that the income produced by these acquisitions, were not included in the financial statements this year, so that the 2-million dollars in loss were in fact compensated by the income not yet figured into the value.
..."The properties to be acquired accounted for in excess of $4 million in revenue last year. In the Annual Report, GrowLife management projects sales in 2013 in the range between $3.9 million and $4.3 million, exclusive of any expansion of GrowLife business through potential acquisitions or proposed regulatory changes. These projections are explicitly based upon past results and extrapolating that data..."
So that the true value hasn't been recalculated to reflect added income.

NBC clipped the video short for some reason, it was really enlightening and exciting to see his mode of operations. Harborside has a great web page and these video's are well done also.
The only aspect of marijuana legalization that I personally protest is the insistence that clients be put on a registry. I am afraid I don't trust our government enough to expect them not to come knocking door to door someday, since they have such a low opinion of cannabis. You don't have to register to buy a bottle of Canadian Club, I don't want to see people rounded up like the gypsies in Germany were some day as part of the final solution to rid society of everyone they deem unacceptable and I don't want to spend my life fighting them with lawyers. If they take away your rights you won't have anything left to fight them with.

Its understandable that Wall Street would be behind this, billions of dollars in revenue. I am totally against the methods in which they intend on implementing their agenda on the peaceful and stoned majority. God willing, most folks won't be put through the grinder that State Authority can place upon you. I have been victimized and its a terribly debasing experience to loose your innocence in that way. This means, Dennis Miller better watch out because in New York he could be arrested for being angry and his rights taken away because he was PERCEIVED as too aggressive. This is scary stuff and this week has been rife with real time evidence that we are at WAR.

PHOT, you stand in a position to give a voice make it clear and take a sophist stand, forward to the right and good.
I live in an area in America where prohibition still exists. Alcohol is not sold here and its illegal to carry a beer down the street. I would have to drive 50-miles to another county to buy a beer or find a bar. Off to the land of Johnny Boone, Lebanon KY. I'm ok with that. One of the most striking features of this place that you immediately recognize, is that everyone is sober. The kids address you with "yes mam" and "yes sir," and these are the kindest, gentle people in the world. The folks here work from dawn to dusk and for the most part, owe the world nothing.
I was drawn to this company because I recognized that connection you have with millions of people to do the right thing and think the right way. You are the voice of 100,000 lit candles in the dark night. So happy birthday to you PHOT and to all the folks who have the power in them to have it both ways.
Waco and Project Blue Beam also had an anniversary this year. Salute...

The Biblical Beast speaketh

So how is that definitely good, please explain. When individuals walk into a marijuana RX they get what medication and a referral to the psychiatrist?
It really isn't about the piddling 5% of a state budget spent on incarceration and more about the 35% spent on health care & pensions for public employee's. Teachers make $75,000 a year in Detroit, for example, you'd think the taxpayers wouldn't be expected to pay for their health care. Most people can't afford to pay for health care. Furthermore, those tax funded pension dollars end up in the hands of hedge funds and ETF's so taxpayers are funding wall street, too. How many people in this country can afford good health care? The two pillars of modern economics is debt collection & health care.
So it isn't surprising that the spineless politicians have found but another way to convince the uneducated herds that marijuana users are addicted souls that need their supervision.

I am surrounded by fields of Tobacco, but my husband grows 4 plants a year for his own use. We don't need a license to do that. I make peach brandy but I don't need a license or permit to do that. Why should it be necessary (if I did choose to smoke marijuana) that I would need a license or permit to do so? Do I need to be listed on a registry somewhere and if so, is that really what legalization of marijuana is all about? Why must we call it MEDICAL marijuana, if not to register users.
There is no question, this will pass and to look at the fundamentals from a farmers point of view, I offer you this.
http://harvestpublicmedia.org/article/legalize-it-kentucky-farmers-look-hemp
And where the rubber meets the road, you might examine this article published by the IRS on Tobacco regulation, de regulation, and farm subsidies.
http://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Small-Businesses-&-Self-Employed/Farmers-(ATG)-Chapter-Ten---Tobacco-1
But the question remains, will the scope of regulation and control interfere with the individuals right to grow for personal use. I also wonder if the fine print won't disallow any individual on marijuana medication from owning a firearm? Gun Control, Immigration, and legalizing marijuana are really tied together in a way. Farmers will benefit by legalized immigration since they operate on such a tight margin. Gun control advocates will benefit by separating a huge swath of individuals from their Second Amendment rights, on the grounds of drug use. IMHO
Juice Bars render an exceptional profit margin. Its already being done in CA FL and NY but what about all those general stores selling subs and pizza to oil drillers in PA or ND? Wheat grass really does give you a jolt and animals and birds will tell you thats true.

As a holding company, how is PHOT different than a biopharma with several drug candidates that they hope will someday create income? Phot sits on a fence and is enthusiastically engaged with people on all sides of the growing industry.
The "Farm Wars," for example. Organic gardening is a huge industry in this country and hopefully will continue to grow. PHOT can be on good terms with the people engaged in the 'Farm Wars' and with the people engaged in the 'Drug Wars,' and still occupy a space in the market.
One of the problems, at least for me, is the genetic tinkering that goes on in developing different strains of marijuana. Obama passed a bill recently allowing GMO's to continue with their experimentation. No one knows how that will play out in the future. No one knows and yet, PHOT can still be actively involved with all growers and their needs. It would be nice to see their products advertised in seed catalogues, garden magazines, and landscaping not just marijuana. Marijuana smokers may develop allergies and a set of whiskers some time in the future. In the meantime, the growth potential is but to be exploited. I hope that PHOT is not a cult stock????
http://farmwars.info/?p=8158
I agree with you about the future of PHOT. I made reference to the Drug War the other day and capitalized it, because I was unaware that you could add links to to this forum dialogue. I thought it might encourage a conversation about all this of which you speak. I am just a hobbyist farmer and who appreciates companies like Greners that allow me to learn more always about the science of gardening. If it turns out that medical marijuana is legalized and becomes a contributing factor to the tax base and helps to alleviate the bloody wars involving drugs, then I have no issue with that. I live in Kentucky and Kentuckians just threw their support behind Hemp, Thats saying something in a land where you'll see a church every six miles and most people were raised in that way from the cradle to the grave. They didn't praise Johnny Boone, but they weren't out to bury him either.
Anywhoo I am off to Greners to pick up some cloning equipment for my Azalea's. Have a beautiful day.
I bought stock in PHOT. I was just commenting on the ways in which MJNA advertises their company. Look at this and tell me if it doesn't appear to be a full fledged commercial government taxable interprise...http://www.medicalmarijuanainc.com/index.php/phytosphere
What is the end goal with MJNA? Are they planning on running this through trials and the FDA like other pharmaceutical products? Does our government need that stamp of approval to allow cannabis to be merchandized as medicine? I would think that MJNA will be getting the government support with distributorships and medical pharmacies. Why wouldn't they take a piece out of this industry?
I only see PHOT as a cheerleader for this movement. As long as they don't take the rights away from individuals to grow for their own use I just wonder how many rules will apply from a commercial standpoint.
The official DRUG WAR CLOCK is ticking faster than the NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK, I wonder how many people are actually vested in understanding the issue here? Its playing out on several levels.
Maybe I'm just dreaming but I would like to see an arrangement made between PHOT and the Department of Education. Some of these young biologists that are shooting for a space at Cornell and other environmentally focused college campuses around the country would find the Phototron a perfect addition to any biology lab. You know they did it with the APPLE and the IPOD and the TABLET so why shouldn't young minds be introduced to earth science in this way? I hope they do right themselves in this regard. A contract with the environmental sciences would take this company to the moon.
I have to laugh at SA. Check out open insider any time of the day, week, month, year and you will find the stocks they sometimes pump, without any product at all. Not just tens of thousands of dollars being stuffed into the pockets of executives, but without EBITDA now or ever. I am impressed with the 10K and thought it amazing this company managed their business as well as it did.
