Quote: You do realize that they are not 80 miles away. Right?
Or are you just horsing around? I’m thinking maybe you are.
______________________
Of course I'm aware of that. Point is that just because of a thunderstorm the big boys don't up anchor and run. You really don't get it, do you?
Quote: I brought up the possibility of lightning because it is clearly a possibility every day. It is in the forecast. Your forecast that you provided.

As I said before 'trying to pick there out of the horse shit'.
I've been on expeditions where we were 80 miles off shore for up to three weeks at a time. So do you think just because we're subject to a line squall and some lightening, we up anchor and run for port. Get serious.
Apparently all you're doing is smoke screening for an inexperienced company that continuously displays its incompetence and lack of results.
Quote: Just how safe is it to be on the ocean with the possibility of lightning? Are you saying that it is good to go? Or, did you even read the report?
_________________________
Sorry to tell you this but what you are trying to do is 'pick the rye out of the horse shit'. The NOOA forecast covers a lengthly part of the eastern coast line.
I'm a mariner and a seasoned diver / salvor. At sea, particularly at this time of year thunderstorms and short duration squalls come and then they go.
You are, as it appears, a landlubber and apparently know little about being at sea.
Hang in there. The scanning will go on and probably on and on and on for very good reason. Seems they just don't want to dig.
Sea conditions good. Of course they're too busy with doing the 'endless' scans. Just too busy to do one proof dig to expose the tons of gold and silver treasure. What a show.

Quote: Now is a time of blah , but I am sure the excitement is going to be picking up soon and yes I think Kyle should have a party for us all on a yacht as we are watching 500 year old treasure come to the surface. Lol

As a faithful stockholder you certainly have every reason to be optimistic and dream. That's just what it is (in my opinion) just a dream. My prediction is that Kennedy and Reynolds the toy maker are probably scrambling behind close doors wondering how to stretch the timing out indefinitely while figuring out what the 'next act' should be to cover their ass. Common sense says that at this point a precise proofing dig (excavation) would be performed on one of these 'no doubt about it' gold targets, thus proving to the shareholders that the SeaSearcher does indeed work but that's just likely not going to happen. I wonder why? For the sake of good people who have invested in this I hope I am proven wrong.
Quote: As far as I understand it the sea searcher will only alert on Gold, silver or copper. However they are able to tell exactly what metal it is when they analyze data.

Don't forget the lead sheathing.
Quote: So if there is any future in "treasure hunting" because so many things are against it. They are against it because it's "bad" for the environment. Which that is what I think is a bunch of chit.
____________________________
Has nothing to do with environmental issues. Apparently you have never read the UNESCO Underwater Cultural Heritage Treaty. You should. You would also thus be informed that there is no future in underwater treasure hunting.
Quote: The sea vac is quite an impressive way to excavate deep sea applications with tremendous archaeological sensitivity.
___________________________________________
For anyone with real commercial shipwreck excavation experience this is another of Reynolds toys.' excavate deep sea applications with tremendous archaeological sensitivity'. Really? This company has no such experience. They have never found or excavated a archaeological site. Excuse me for saying it this way but 'what bullshit'.
If there are no results pre-Christmas time which I predict to be the case, Reynolds might consider entering into contract with Santa Claus in the design and manufacture of new innovative toys. Its actually past the point of being absolutely ridiculous.
Quote: The treasure is not hype it exists and there is alot of it.
_____________________________________
There is no name of the ship. There is no manifest but you dare to say 'The treasure is not hype it exists and there is alot of it'. Absurd. All based upon 'the Timmy toy says' with NO EVIDENCE. Very ridiculous .
Quote: The meeting conclusion is that there is treasure and the sea searcher works
______________________________
Quite a statement. No evidence. The usual.
Quote: Beginning of June Kyle said 12 days of scanning to finish Juno. Here we are mid July and their still scanning. Now do I really think they found treasure ?
I'm really thinking they haven't found treasure, if they did they would be diving by now. Let's see how long sfrx rides out the scanning ? Unfortunately I don't feel very optimistic about treasure at this point. Hope they prove me wrong.

You are absolutely right. Not involved but certainly interested.
Historically, I was correct about the Melbourne folly and I have a strong intuition I'm right about this one too. The 'dig' if it ever happens, will tell the story.
Sea conditions continue good. Of course no evidence of the tons of gold and silver. Too busy with the on going 'scanning'. I can imagine that will go on for the remainder of the season. Great website, Tim Reynolds continues to crank out his innovative toys while SFRX continues to be the we're gonna be, we wanna be totally nonproductive savage company. Nonsense at its finest.

As far as being 'desperate to hold on to yesterday's technology', that so called yesterday's technology is what has found some of the classic Spanish galleon shipwrecks; 1622 Atocha, 1641 Concepcion, 1656 Maravillas (and there are others) which all have yielded tons of treasure. SFRX technology has found nothing so to date the technology coming out of Reynolds toy shop remain unimpressive.

Days are counting down. Kyle did say scanning was going good whatever that means. Doesn't necessarily mean treasure, could mean good weather.
Who knows.

As you must be aware, I have already made my prediction. The Juno site does not contain bulk concentrations of gold and silver. An analysis of the facts along with common sense makes that clear to anyone with some experience. Eighty feet of water, no cannons and apparently no 'olive jars' visible on the wreck site or in the immediate area.
I would expect the so called 'scanning' will continue without any explanation as to why its never complete. ... and from there the excuses will continue. I find it very strange, as do others, that if this SeaSearcher worked and was capable of pin-pointing tons of gold and silver, why the company wouldn't proceed and do at least one 'proofing' excavation whereas proving to stockholders that the technology works. Very odd indeed.
With sea conditions like these 'prolonged' survey scanning should be done. Show time.

First let me comment one the new website. Very impressive indeed. But putting it crudely (as before) its the same old turd wrapped in a flashy impressive candy bar wrapper. A company that has never ever actually discovered a Spanish Colonial period shipwreck, never excavated and produced any significant artifact or treasure recoveries during its entire existence. Absolutely amazing.

No, you're wrong. I don't hate SFRX. I simply don't have any respect for them. A zero success track record and always promoting a turd in a fancy candy bar wrapper. Never results. The old 'just you wait and see'. Well, I'm waiting with great interest.
I will tell you exactly why. Because when it all comes down to it...
It's all about politics and political figures.
Quote: It's a dam shame, but you know that is the truth. It's not about a solution it's about law and who writes the law?
If you can get political figures in your pocket through donations and then present a solution that's how you get ship done.
If all goes well and Trump wins in November. UNESCO won't have any funding to continue their operations.....they can go back to Palestine and preserve wherever will be left there. Just sayin. I don't think UNESCO really cares and has antisemitism written all over them. It's a big waste of money...unless you love Biden...then by all means join UNESCO.
I think it's a joke...600 million tax payer dollars...for what?

Now here's something I can fully agree with you.
Quote: The sea searcher will go up and down the coast of Florida and probably in other countries as well. Making money at each site not having to deal with permits at all. Just scan get paid and move on.
____________________________________
You people truly know how to fantasize but then why not. You've bought into this hook, line and sinker. At this point no factual evidence of any gold or silver. All assumptions. Speculation.
As I stated before, I predict the 'scanning' will go on and on and then perhaps move on to the excavation of fifteen feet of imaginary sand but just can't quite reach the treasure. All this a stall game while Kennedy and Reynolds are trying to figure out what the H... do we do next. Of course this is only my prediction. My opinion only.
right here and go 15 feet below the sand that hasn't been disturbed in over 500 years and you will find gold and wow there it is?? Can't wait.
______________________________________________
Common sense tells one there is nothing there 15 feet below the sand when there is an exposed ballast pile showing along with the amazing worm poop entrustment. These comments are hard to believe, like make it up as you go. Even if there was but six feet of sand, it certainly won't be removed using Reynolds little battery powered aquatic vacuum cleaner.
Quote: So can we give Melbourne a break besides the billions of dollars Juno will bring it will keep them busy for a little while anyway.

I can't help but tell you that I find it most amusing how at one time Melbourne was everything including the statement 'we're on the wreck' by Kyle Kennedy.
Now as per your statement, 'besides billions of dollars Juno will bring'. This Juno episode is evolving more and more into a child bedtime story. Quite humorous.
Quote: The device is the sea searcher and it found non ferrous metal in Juno to me that means Gold and silver... which was a public post. In addition I believe 100 percent in Tim Reynolds.

Quote: You guys are so funny..
Most of everything I quoted is from Google. If you want to argue with them go ahead.
I am sure your knowledge far surpasses the records of history. Lol.
So amusing the lack of education on this board. You are so proud there is no room for anything new. Time stopped when you retired.
Needless to say you are Both dead wrong.
________________________________
Apparently you're scrambling. Please don't address my comments in the plural 'you guys'. My posts represent me only. So I'm to be impressed with you found your facts on Google and I'm to be impressed? Perhaps you might consider going into scholarly works as 'Trade and Navigation between Spain and the West Indies' or the 'Spanish Empire in America' by C.H. Haring, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of History - Yale University. ....And you say lack of education?
So continue with your pipe dream.
Quote: Spanish conquistador Hernando Cortes conquered the Aztecs of Mexico in 1521. But gold and silver were not mined and made into large bars for transport to the Old World until about 1565. Therefore, much of the treasure being transported back to Spain about 1550 was intricately crafted Aztec or Mayan works of art, Wallace and Benilous said.
______________________________
This is a fallacy. Other than to send examples to the Spanish monarchy, The Catholic church prohibited these objects as produced by heathens, worshippers of false gods. These objects were melted down into bars or cakes of bullion before being shipped out oof Mexico.
Quote: The bottom line is in my opinion no one ever dug deep enough to uncover what 500 years of the sea covered...
____________________________________________
Your opinion is wrong.
When the main hull ballast pile of the 1622 'Niuestra Señora de Atocha, lying in 54 feet of water, the stacks of silver bars and rows of silver coin chests were right on top of the ballast as was the norm. Not the case on this Juno wreck in 80 ft. of water. Why? There is no treasure. (My opinion based upon analytical logic).
I have known no less than three "Professionals" who had spent considerable time having done both magnetometer and ferrous-non-ferrous metal detector surveys of the site. For them - no cannons. No treasure either. Those "Professionals" were Robert Marx, David Foster and Duke Long.
I only made a prediction so lets just wait and see.
At this point in the game I shall make a very unpopular prediction (Just my opinion of course).
Before the prediction a touch of logic which will also not be appreciated.
A supposed treasure galleon in 80 feet of water devoid of any cannons but supposedly loaded with gold and silver. At the 80 ft. depth the cannons would hardly have been recoverable but nevertheless there are none. If let's say the cannons were recoverable then why not the supposed treasure? So the cannons were important but not the treasure?
I predict that the now perfectly performing SeaSeacher will be continuing to scan throughout the season. SFRX has just got to get that done first before even doing but one 'proofing dig' on a gold or silver target. Most odd. So what I'm saying is that perhaps the 'performing perfectly' SeaSearcher is actually not performing, thus buy time to figure out what to do next.
Quote: Only my wife is right all the time..lol

I do admire your enthusiasm but also know the definition of the word disappointment. Its coming. Of course this is just my opinion. I know its painful to acknowledge but I was absolutely right before.
......But no gold or silver.
Quote: I think if you actually could that you should call in and get some of your never ending questions answered.
___________________________________________
I present no 'never ending questions'. I simply asked what are the four or five hundred 'Artifacts' recovered? Yes that is a question that no one seems to want to answer. I have little doubt the representation is, crudely put, trash and trinkets - if any trinkets at all.
And yes, 16th Century Spanish ships bore materials on copper, brass and bronze, particularly bronze cannons of which this shipwreck has none. Non of iron as well. That tells a lot.
