How do you find the market cap history of kblb?
I bought some already thinking the same thing. Hope it doesn't bite me in the axx.
I would think a company wouldn't hire a project manager without a product to produce. But you never know with Kim. Obviously he doesn't have to stay completely silent, he did press release the new hire. I feel like it's a real slap in the face as an investor not to know anything that's going on with the company I'm investing in for this long of a time period. There is no reason for it.
I hope J Rice was hired as a production manager not a deal maker. Meaning we have something to produce. I bought more stock because if you look at this small company and its two employees. Kim is a Business Lawyer the deal maker. J Rice was at his former job essentially a project manager.
I wish we knew similar facts about our company. At least then we could compare cost.
There are no animals involved, just two 500-liter fermenters that can produce 300,000 yards of the silk in a 24-hour period That's about 10 spools worth.
Does this mean a fiber? A continuous thread? Because that's what it sounds like.

Looks like we're behind schedule again
Can someone smarter than me explain why this is good or bad. It sounds like KBLB has a lot money in the bank in exchange for shares. On the other hand the stock tanked after this happened.
On October 2, 2014, Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc., a Wyoming corporation (the “Company”) entered into a letter agreement for an equity line of financing up to $7,500,000 (the “Letter Agreement”) with Calm Seas Capital, LLC (“Calm Seas”).
Under the Letter Agreement, over a 24 month period from the Effective Date (as defined below) we may put to Calm Seas up to an aggregate of $7,500,000 in shares of our Class A common stock for a purchase price equal to 80% of the lowest price of our Class A common stock during the five consecutive trading days immediately following the date we deliver notice to Calm Seas of our election to put shares pursuant to the Letter Agreement. We may put shares bi-monthly. The dollar value that will be permitted for each put pursuant to the Letter Agreement will be the lesser of: (A) the product of (i) 200% of the average daily volume in the US market of our Class A common stock for the ten trading days prior to the date we deliver our put notice to Calm Seas multiplied by (ii) the average of the daily closing prices for the ten (10) trading days immediately preceding the date we deliver our put notice to Calm Seas, or (B) $100,000. We will automatically withdraw our put notice to Calm Seas if the lowest closing bid price used to determine the purchase price of the put shares is not at least equal to seventy-five percent (75%) of the average closing “bid” price for our Class A common stock for the ten (10) trading days prior to the date we deliver our put notice to Calm Seas.
On the seventh business day after we deliver our put notice to it, Calm Seas will purchase the number of shares set forth in the put notice at the dollar value set forth in the put notice by delivering such amount to us by wire transfer.
Notwithstanding the $100,000 ceiling for each bi-monthly put, as described above, we may at any time request Calm Seas to purchase shares in excess of such ceiling, either as a part of bi-monthly puts or as an additional put(s) during such month. If Calm Seas, in its sole discretion, accepts such request to purchase additional shares, then we may include the put for additional shares in our monthly put request or submit an additional put for such additional shares in accordance with the procedure set forth above.
We agreed to file a registration statement covering the resale by Calm Seas of the shares to be issued under the Letter Agreement (the “Registration Statement”). We may issue the first put notice to Calm Seas during the first 5 business days of the month following the month when the Registration Statement has been declared effective (the “Effective Date”).
So let me get this straight you can buy Kevlar for $30 a kilo or monster silk for $150?! That sucks. Please tell me I'm mistaken.
How much is Kevlar per kilo? Or is it sold by the yard, or as a finished product only? If it was something like two or three dollars per kilo that would be great news for us
It sounds like Randy is getting funding to run an experiment about an idea that has been around for years to find out things kblb already knows as fact. They have a two year goal to see if it even makes sense. Not to produce commercial quantities. Kblb might have hit a bump in the road tripped and fell. But I believe Kim is in the process of fixing the consistency problem and taking one more step forward towards commercial production. Worse case scenario is KBLB sells all existing silk at a generic silk market price and starts fresh making Monster Silk. Not a total waste. How long does it take to breed silkworms again? How long has it been quite? Right now today where can you buy commercial quantities of spider silk fabric? Nowhere. I'm long and strong kblb.
Exactly doubled from what? Time for another fluffernutter sandwich.
I posted a long time ago that MS would be more suited for light armored vehicles and aircraft than bullet proof vest because it can absorb more impact as it stretches. But if you get shot in the chest with nothing but MS you won't have a hole but you will have a dent and die anyway.
No more cheap shares for purchase
Philadelphia
I agree completely but believe that kblb will deliver a metric ton of silk to WM this summer generate some income attract news investors and business partners and succeed. Most companies would have found and investor given up a controlling share of the company and got MS to market much sooner. A blunder in my opinion. Of he's just a contol freak which most geniuses are. Either way I'm sitting on a pile of shares and will sell for a nice profit late summer. What that profit will be. No one knows.
Omg are we finally getting the word out and marketing!! Miracles never cease to exist.
A real business man is what we have needed all along. And maybe some video of a metric ton of silk being spooled up!!! Remember what the stock price was after kblb's last press conference video. Where's the marketing?!
Great article
Picked up another half million shares before some more news comes out. Hope it's big news.
I think ms would be ok for making bullet proof vest but optimal for bullet proofing light vehicles like suv's, hummers, tires, tactile shields, and such. The heaviest part of a vest is the trauma plate and or rifle plate. You don't want something stretchy you want something that won't bend so it doesn't crush your sternum and kill you anyway. Now a Humvee isn't a human heart. You can use a stretchy bullet and bomb proof material that is light and better for gas mileage. Airplanes, boats, even tanks? But is it cheap enough to compete with fiberglass, carbon fiber? That's the million dollar question.
If you follow the link in the pr it takes you to a photo of the prime minister of Vietnam with the title prime minister receives president of kraig biocraft laboratories
If you follow the link in the pr it takes you to a photo of the prime minister of Vietnam with the title prime minister receives president of kraig biocraft laboratories
And these companies sat down for a photo op with the prime minister?
I guess funding shouldn't be a problem anymore LOL. Do you know how many American businesses are located in Vietnam why would the prime minister sit down with a tiny Company like Kraig Biocraft laboratories.
Well we wanted a photo and we got one! A photo of Kim sitting down with the prime minister of Vietnam!awesome!!!
I don't think this stock price is going anywhere until there is recorded income in the financial reports. Then from those reports a future valuation is determined. That will dictate the stocks price.
I'm excited about this news but yet again Kim disappoints by giving lack of critical details. The pr states a small quantity. Well what is a small amount of silk? It's all relative, right? Why can't he just say we delivered 76 pounds of silk. Or .5 metric tons. Is it half a pound? Wtf!! This is why investors have so much fuel for the fire when bashing Kim. I'm a long I won't be selling till next year because of tax reasons. I would like a bit more substance and professionalism in the pr s and a whole lot more details!
Check out the chart last year in January it went through the roof
I'm upset that no one paid any attention to my previous post. Confirmed through and email conversation that worms are currently being farmed and prepped for commercial production.

Hi Bob,
Yes, the silkworms and eggs are now reared at a real sericulture facility.

Can you at least confirm that one
does exist and that silk worms are being farmed there.

Hi Bob,
The Company has yet to disclose the location, which I believe to be for security reasons, so I cannot comment on
that until it’s announced by the Company.

Where is the silk worm farm located

If Kim was doing something shady with his accountant then why make a PR about it? Way too much thought going into this
Any chance the reason for this new accountant is for international capabilities? Still I don't see any reason for a pr about it. I'd much rather see a video of a million worms eating mulberry leaves on a farm in china with Kim. Now that would be nice.
Fluff pr
Google "commercial spider silk" and see all the articles about kblb
If Kim was smart he would price these products to move. 120k per ton and sell 10 times as much. Nobody uses carbon fiber or Kevlar on a wide scale because its too expensive.
What? Where's the proof? Can you provide a link to a credible article?
