If any of you have not heard the 3 minute audio interview with Brandon, go to: http://tv.wallst.net/r/3-minute-press/Brandon-Toth/340/1346/
Stocksurgeon: Thanks for the post. Let us know if you get more.
As a spectator sport you may be right, but don't forget all those soccer players from American high schools over the last 40 years or so.
Rise: I don't know about Al, but you've lost me. What question did you ask that has not been answered?
boopsboss: I gotta think going OB is a great sign. Other thoughts? Dick L.
forextrader99: Some time go, as I recall, you presented a longer post laying out your view of where CMTN would be getting its revenue from its various divisions. I've been unable to find that post now but recall it was an excellent one. Would you please repost it if you can find it? Thanks.
A week or more ago, someone posted his view as to how CMTN would achieve revenue from its various divisions. I failed to save that post and regret that failure. Would the author resubmit that post or does someone else remember the number? Thanks.
syracuseo: I would suggest that all of us here should log on to the American Football Alumni website and join that group. I just did. No charge and since this is a numbers game we can help both CMTN and ourselves.
I heard part of an NPR review of the Nancy Drew movie today where the theater had invited 400 middle school girls to the preview 2 days before opening. Though I missed part of it, it seemed quite positive about the film, and 400 enthusiastic 13 year old girls can spread a loud message. Also, it doesn't hurt that the lead, Emma Roberts, is Julia's niece.
Falcor: Isn't it true that brokers can borrow your shares to cover their shorts UNLESS you have put in a GTC sell order, let's say at 10 dollars? Do you or does anybody know if I'm right, that is, they can't use your shares if you have a sell order in?
OT: Hot: I picked up 200K this morning at .0045. I may try to get some more next week. Keep in touch.
Hit: I have SPNI on my watch list based on your comment. What happened today, any idea?
Al: Happy to hear you're recovering; I think you're in sync with VHGI. Dick L.
There's a front page article in today's New York Times about the new technologies used to drill old wells for previously abandoned oil. Dick L.
Ritzy: I don't think you mean "revelation." Ah, the hell with it!
If he has 6 aliases, then he's one person with 6 aliases.
Macho: How do you know it's 6 people and not just 1? Dick L.
Boops: I believe it's Yahoo's problem, not VHGI's. I'm having the same problem with 2 other pink sheeters.
Al: Is Cyn still around, if you know?
Exciter: Me too on the email please. Been in this 5 plus years (can hardly believe it!) 6k shares and thanks for taking the time to post that fascinating info. rcleonard01@snet.net
I think it's a positive sign that VHGI has filed its 9/30/06 financial report. Any thoughts from anyone? Dick L.
mgland: Listen: Are we gonna have any bliss with VHGI?
Hear! Hear! Dick L. (Clint Carter gone?)
bn43: Thanks for the reply. I too am optimistic (cautiously.) Dick L.
Al: Thanks. We're gonna need lots of input to clarify what's going on. I'm cautiously optimistic. Has anyone talked to Jamie? Dick L>
I'm thinking that the acquisition of NewMarkets might give us a leg up in Florida. Maybe, just maybe, Scott Haire is here for the long haul. Dick L.
OT: Al Tillis: Page 49 of the September 18th New Yorker has a cartoon you might enjoy. Dick L.
Clint: Here's news of a sort. The N.Y.Times today has a detailed article on the monetary and personal waste in erroneous prescriptions with some praise for electronic prescriptions. No mention of ETCR but certainly worth a read by all longs. Page 12 of National Report Section. Dick L.
mcbeau: How about Atlantis? Dick L.
praireboy and Clint: I understand and agree. I'm hanging in for now. Dick L.
Clint; "A reverse split significantly reduces the leverage I had with this stock as a penny stock." What am I missing? Why does your leverage decrease since you will still own the same % of the company? Dick L.
Sies: "I can't imagine why Ky would care how many share are issued."
It wasn't the number of shares that might bother them but the price per share. A $2 stock may seem more legitimate to KY deciders than a .02 one. Dick L.
Rise: You may be right, but I was assuming we needed a reverse split in order to get (satisfy) KY.
Though I'm certainly no fan of reverse splits, if this announcement is followed by an announcement of a contract (KY?) it shouldn't be very negative at all. Dick L.
Hit: Agreed. Still a delay, but at least we're hearing something. Dick L.
Euro: You're still twisting the truth. "Anticipation" and "promising" do not mean the same thing. It is not just semantics as you coyly suggest. For example: "I anticipate that soccer will become more popular in the U.S. in future years." If it does not happen, do not accuse me of breaking a promise to you or anybody. Dick L.
Euro: What you did was to change an "anticipation" into a "promise" and then to complain about unkept promises. You twisted things unfairly for your own purposes. It is only a slight exaggeration to say your twisting was lying or at least a significant disregard for the truth. Dick L.
4Ever_Young: I disagree. I thought Al's post was right on target. It is not content that he should be monitoring but civility or its absence. I should be able to post "ETCR is going nowhere" but not "You're stupid to say 'ETCR is a great buy.'" Dick L.
Macho: Now I've got it but only as I went to post my last message. I've been having IHub problems of late.
Macho: For some reason, I can't pull up the text. Would you please post again? TIA
