Question.........for someone wanting to invest $1,000 in either common or preferred shares of FNMA right now,
which is the better short term choice? Which type will go up the most first? Preferred because it is a safer, sure par price or common because it is priced lower with more room to grow? If an announcement releasing them from conservatorship happens in February, would the preferred shoot straight up to the $25 par price right away in the case of FNMAS ? Is it logical to think the preferred will multiply faster and then by selling at par, one could buy the commons with additional room to multiply as recap moves forward? Help please.
Did anyone see a CNBC tweet about Trump visiting the Treasury tomorrow to sign two executive orders ?
Thank you Spek.......I was hoping somebody would compile the details from the SH meeting. I have been a shareholder for over 7 years and I am adding still. Baltia will prevail. Happy Holidays Everyone !!
Hopefully it's not to hear our "Last Rites"......
I also received a group e-mail from Bill Kassar confirming the share holder meeting tonight at the Hilton Garden Inn at 6:30 p.m.
Thanks LT for your time and extensive explanation. Besides my communications with Baltia personnel over the years and my visit to the air show earlier this year, your shared knowledge and insight are one of the main reasons I am invested in over 1 million shares of Baltia stock. Good luck to us all.......Go,Baltia !
Maybe I remember incorrectly, but I thought the previous mini evac wasn't passed due to improper packing of a slide by a previously approved vendor. Am I incorrect thinking this same vendor had packed any of the slides that were in place for yesterdays failed mini evac? If so, shame on Baltia for trusting this vendor, If I am incorrect , then my mistake. Either way, I am long and strong........thanks LT.
LT, All we heard about leading up to yesterdays mini was how Baltia double-checked and triple-checked every phase of the mini-evac so there were no glitches this time around. As an 8 year investor, I ask how the slides packed by the old vendor that were a problem in previous tests weren't changed as a precaution this time around? I find this over-sight just another lack of vision and precaution.......I am holding long and strong, but I find this oversight inexcusable..........Here's hoping next week there isnt another needless delay after needless delay after needless.........delay........
If I remember correctly, she passed from illness much too soon.....forgive me if I am incorrect....
In honor of Baltia' s original attorney....
You are correct Rocco, Thats why I drove 6 hours to the airshow...to do my own DD...and look them in the eye, and see the plane, and corroborate stories. Is it a risk ? Sure it is ....
Is it happening? Decide for yourself. Good Luck to All...
After attending the air show and talking to Igor, Barry, Bob Strom, Deke Kramer ( the chief pilot ) , and the manager of training, anyone who says certification is not going to happen has an ulterior motive....IMHO
This is happening folks.
The plane was parked right next to one of the main entrances off of the parking area, so you couldnt miss it. Most attendees seemed in awe by the sheer size of the plane. Anyone that wanted more info about Baltia had a chance to talk with one of the team members. The Baltia team was wearing easily recognizable red polo style shirts. I didnt really hear specific conversations, but I am sure the exposure is "priceless".
Yes Youlie, It was pretty awesome to see the plane in person after following the progress of the Baltia team for so many years. I had goose bumps......
Hi All....Back in Iowa from the the air show. Certification will happen IMHO.
Here is what I observed / heard:
The Plane is beautiful ! The " Spirit of Kathleen " towered over the tens of thousands of visitors at the air show.
Public Could not go in the interior, Insurance reasons, it is not newly updated , but I was told it is in excellent shape and sparkling clean , and no-one would be upset with the interior, updates may take place after revenues commence.
Chief Pilot is a 747-200 veteran of over 30 years.
Baltia had a small tent set up by the plane passing out luggage tags and pens. The Baltia executives and team members were there talking with the public. Igor, Barry, Robert Strom, Deke Kramer ( chief pilot ) among many others. ( I was hoping for a bigger Baltia presence/ tent with hats, t-shirts, souvenirs etc. to pass out, however the FAA has strict regulations About advertising when the company is not yet certified )
The move to Michigan for the FAA certification saved the company.
Cabin crew completed water evacuation training last week in Florida to rave reviews by FAA.
Hoping to be certified by October 1 at the latest, if not much sooner. FAA Is very helpful and wants this to
happen.
There is a back-up plan in place should the U.S. / Russia relations deteriorate to the point it affects travel to and from St. Petersburg ( i.e. Riga Latvia or other european cities ) Right now not at that point. Only affects fly overs not Russian destinations.
I have been invested in the company for seven years. I have always been hopeful but skeptical. After today, I
am very confident that certification WILL happen.....IMHO.
Take advantage of the PPS while it is still in the 2's.
If you have been following The Lieutenants posts.......you will have a good understanding of the companies
accomplishments and capabilities.
Good Luck to All.........Go Baltia....
Just left the airshow, heading back to Iowa. If you are a non- believer.......you are going to be sorry !
Met with Igor, Barry, Robert Strom, and Deke Kramer ( chief pilot) .....everything Lt. has said is happening. Didn't learn much knew, mostly confirmed what has already been posted. The "Spirit of Kathleen" is beautiful.
This is going to be fun boys and girls. I will post what I learned late this evening.....Go Baltia !
I received my notice of the shareholder meeting today. I am a PP holder as well. Silly me.......
The letter "E" after the BLTA symbol simply means the company is not compliant in their submissions to the SEC. They are either late in reporting or have submitted incorrect information. They have 30 days to correct at which time the letter "E" will be removed.
Unfortunately for us it can't be killed...... because it does not yet live............
Does anyone know where to find the Timing and Action chart that had been posted on the website at one time ? Perhaps I am just over-looking it. Thanks.
OR MAYBE JUST A FEW DAYS ????? WHO KNOWS FOR SURE ?
AND....Baltia is spelled B-A-L-T-I-A
Where do you find this information Variant ? Thank You.
Hello Pipa, thanks for your many informative posts over the years. Yes, I bought via private placement about 4 years ago. Still watching , hoping and waiting like the rest of us. Things seem to be advancing, hopefully it's not just our wishful thinking this time.
Thanks FlaNiko, I wasn't sure but it was what I was hoping. Good luck to all of us.
I too received a message at home yesterday from a Norman Gload (sp) saying he was the new Associate V.P. of Finance at Baltia. His message stated he wanted to update me on what was happening at Baltia and about additional investment "opportunities". I have been a long time Baltia investor and follower on IHUB and am just now making my first post. Thank you to all who have been posting all of these years and keeping us as informed as possible. My question is, what is an "Associate" V.P. of Finance ? That is not Barry's position is it ? Thanks to all. Go Baltia !
