 AAPL - my charts would like to see it run a little higher before monitoring for a failed Rally 
 AMZN - my charts see a Rally starting today .. but expect to monitor for a failed Rally later this week 
  CRM - my charts are monitoring for a failed Rally .. somewhere between 41.50 and 42.50 
 JNPR - expect to Drop a little Lower before a Bounce Up 
 LNKD - my charts are monitoring for a failed Rally .. probably between 190 and 191 
 NFLX - I am staying away from this one today . . if she Holds above 224.50, this could be another AAPL of the last decade

I don't know . . I have just considered that lost money . . .
any profits I end up with from here out with those VIX ETFs is just bonus.
I Hold them in case of total collapse of our markets.
I will never again Buy or recommend VIX ETFs .. and possibly nothing at all to do with the VIX.

I *DO* see APPL Seasonality showing an Up usually this week and next . . .
depending on the exact earnings date of each year in the past.
Very volatile for them this week .. THAT is why I Trade them on a very short-term basis only.

doubtful . . but I don't trade the news, I trade the price.
PLUS, I am done for the day .. just Relaxing.

"less demand" . . and the further the strike-price is from the underlying's price,
the cheaper it is . . less intrinsic value and harder to reach in the time that's left.
Like I've said before, always Buy options on an underlying's move in the "opposite direction".

but by Buying the CALLS on the way DOWN, it makes them even cheaper . . .

I hope many who read me were able to make a ton of money this morning using Put options.
Notice that I was able to predict and Profit from Big DOWN moves in a Big UP Market!

my Short-Term Trading thoughts for today . . .
CRM - Down
LNKD - Down

When Opening Down positions, I usually like to do so on an Up move that fails.
I will wait for such a move today as well.

I don't see too much of a Down today . . .
after the Open Down, I see some drifting Sideways
and then slowly Up to probably end near Flat.
1552.25 is Strong Support and breaking below that would be very Bearish.
1530 has been my posted Target .. expecting to hit it by early May.
Until then, trade lightly.
btw . . I don't think you're "not humble", and I don't think Nirvana does either.
We were just pointing out the fact of "pride before the fall" and cautioning you to be careful with your success.
Save the Profits .. don't go buy expensive necklaces for your girl just yet.

then watch for UP.
If not UP by after lunch.ET, look for more Down
with a first stop at 1530.
I am expecting UP after morning DOWN.

S&P-500 = 1545 will be a good place to Open Uppers . . .

my FOREX Trading thoughts for today . . .
I am BULLISH on the US-Dollar
and BEARISH on the Japanese-YEN.

For the YEN, I like trading the inverse ETF = YCS . . which moves opposite of the YEN (FXY).
The YEN has been falling for many months . . .
but I thin there is still a long way to go ...
at least for the rest of this year.

thoughts for the day as we come to a close . . .
AAPL - never really got a Rally going, so no Signal
LNKD - after a weak Open, LNKD Rallied quickly . . bug failed to even get any higher than the Closing hour yesterday . . so that was a Trigger (@ 09:45.ET) to Buy Put options (or Short) . . the Apr 170 Put was easily bought @ 60 . . . then the Drop faltered as a Strong Reversal ensued and between 11:00.ET and 11:10.ET that Put was easily Sold @ 95 . . for a 50% gain!
NFLX - Gap Open Rally on the first bar of my 10-min. Chart . . and easy Tell on the second bar that she was coming Down ... there was some room to Profit from the Put options, but Volatility was so high that put-option-prices did not Drop enough on the early Rally, that even when the underlying DID Drop, there was not much gain . . so an easy break-even.
QQQ & SPY never did rally . . . Dropping from the start then meandering weakly higher the rest of the day to still Close Down some for the day.

So, this is how I do my Plan each morning for Day- or Two- Trading.
I do the research that morning and then stick to that Plan.
Making some money each day or two is nice.
