Just guessing, once it gets close to mirror finish it may have a shot. Perhaps for 2018.
If he mentioned future then lqmt isn't likely in upcoming next generation iPhone.
That's a big deal if the surface isn't mirror finish. Not likely in this year's IPhone if he talks about the future of where liquidmetal could be..
Yep, no institution would buy for 28k...this is retail traders playing around...
Just because Li stated production does not mean it is Apple. Believing that q3 production is Apple this year is likely mumbo jumbo ??
Yeah, i think people will have to readjust their expectations if they believe liquid metal will be in next generation iPhones. Hope doesn't win contracts, however there is something to this story, just that one has to be patient. '18/'19 could be good years but still early to have better visibility.
You do realize if lqmt was used we'd know by now? Perhaps next year or in a few years they'll be ready to supply in quantities needed.
You do know Li net out at roughly 16c, right?
You do realize he's not up 400% though right? If you include all his tranches his average price is just under 16c..
Market cap i meant..
Currently lqmt is 43% of Eontec's market share with relatively no sales. We'll see how the relationship unfolds in 2H.
If there are shorts these are likely day trade shorts not medium/long term therefore it doesn't really matter ;)
Yep-i also doubt there are any significant shorts here.
Why are you pumping it as if there is a correlation with Eontec stock? Eontec stock is down ~2% this month and down 16% for the year. Do you just find any ounce of information to pump when there is no need to (especially for long term)? Are you one of the Bond followers?
Agree-next year is likely the year but this year could be auto ;)
1 year chart has been in a downtrend for a while. No change yet in that trend.
Ok, i just think it's such a low probability that it isn't worth mentioning as a real possibility. Time will tell.
Do you really believe Li bought to sell it in year? Are you serious in your scenario? Seems so far fetched that you may have a better chance of winning the lottery rather than Samsung buying lqmt...
You do know that Li is only up ~73% on paper on his overall shares, right? For some reason everyone quotes his 8m investment but not the remaining $55m...still 73% is a great yearly return!
Different story...
Ha...can't tell that man anything, however if it's exotic and serves a purpose he may use the material.
Sounded from your initial response that you did visit the factory.
Have you visited the factory? He was there last time i visited.
Yeah, me too. Mr Pagani is a great artist and is very welcoming for people to see his factory. He doesn't speak english though ??
Ever seen that car at the factory?
Market may still be soft near term and it's hard to say whether a pullback in the markets will also take down LQMT. Without any news it's conceivable one could see lqmt shares a bit lower but nothing to worry for long run.
Don't look short term and things should be fine.
Doubt there is any significant shorting here..mostly traders in and out.
Ok, that's more believable. Welcome!
Sure...ok ??
Are you saying you're worth over 200m? ... ??
You are so naive to think that a market decline won't affect LQMT because it is a small company. Will market affect longer term trajectory-i don't think so, but one cannot say they won't be affected near term by a potential market decline.
Agree on many points you listed. If they have some significant orders in the fall the stock will go on a significant upward trajectory.
Not likely for a few weeks, we just had a PR last week.
Patience...
There won't be a PR ;)
I would agree that this is the direction where it could go...
This post when i read it was confusing. I meant since 381k worth of alloys was purchased and cogs in q1 were only 62k it means they weren't expensed and likely went to inventory as raw materials mostly.
Right and nothing was expensed in q1
Nobody said that-go back and read my statement as to why it's likely not included in COGS as maybe no sales related to those alloys have been booked.
