You tell us
Yes: things do not add up here in LQMT land!
With all this "portend" of emerging future greatness the PPS continues to
crater. Why?
Apparently Board of Directors buy stock on the open market routinely:

Sure would be nice to see our LQMT BOD get some real skin in the game.
Yes…skeptics are the ying to the Unicorn's yang.
All sides and possibilities must be considered.
Us skeptics could make the same claim the "positives" do about getting tired of hearing our whining.
Well we're tired of hearing about all the potential positives without tangible, concrete evidence of the same (a revenue-producing contract). Was the 250K this quarter the beginning of something or an anomaly? Lots of smoke (I'll admit) but no fire as of yet.
So…..the discussion continues.
Look at his earlier purchases and sales.
A different story.
Well things must not have changed that much. Since 2012, to the best of my recollections, TC purchased stock on the open market numerous times, including November of 2016.
Josh:
Many stocks I've owned over the years….Ascend Communications (bought by Lucent) and Iomega come to mind…….where executives from both companies routinely purchased stock on the open market.
I'm in this until BMG becomes a commercial success or goes bust.
I'm entitled to my opinion..and the fact that no hard currency
has been spent by our LQMT BOD to purchase stock on the open market (besides Chung)
has me asking "Why Not?"
Yes Mr. Chung did make occasional purchases on the open market.
But none of the others have as you stated. Which was my main point.
Hence…no real skin in the game coming from the other BOD members.
As a stockholder it would show their commitment and belief in the future success
of this LQMT endeavor if they did make purchases.
And I don't prescribe to the notion that "there's plenty of time to get in"
as the reason they haven't.
Human nature being what it is…..the "buy low and sell high" philosophy pretty much always prevails.
Were any of these, besides the 64M Mr. Li used to buy 405M shares, purchased on the open market by the others listed?
Or all gifted options and warrants?
And let's not forget that the Chinese Government has a large ownership stake in EONTEC.
It would be helpful if Prof. Li or other company execs explained to LQMT shareholders just how we're going to make money if EONTEC is mass producing the products in China.
Lastly: if we're on the cusp of a million dollar quarter…..where is the insider buying?
Board of Directors: it'd be great if you actually had some financial skin in the game
to show the shareholders you believe in Mr. Li's business plan and the future success of liquidmetal.
Thanks you Games.
So you were there as well?
Did anyone else on the iHOP board attend the ASHM yesterday?
I believe he purchased 70,000 shares……….
Can anyone else confirm the information by the one poster who claimed to be at the ASHM yesterday?
Watts:
Were you there?
Watts:
who told you Li wasn't showing up?
Thank you.
Mr. LI:
Please buy back some shares NOW.
Your silence has hurt the small investor.
Prove to us that you are the REAL DEAL.
As have the Blues…it's called reality.
Ok: show me the contract, the information, the relationship which = substantial revenue
for LQMT.
You can't. The falling stock price tells the story.
Chung and Hauck cashed out for a reason.
I keep on thinking there is going to be a big capitulation moment—where the exhausted shareholders run for the exits en mass—and we see a big 50 million share day.
I'd rather see that and get it over with then witness this daily death by a thousand pinpricks.
Sigh.
As I said earlier: seems as if the plan is to take this down systematically…….
Watch for the Li buyout at 16 cents. If we're lucky.
Yes, Gamesc…thanks……you're helping keep our hopes alive!
We've been waiting on the Bacon truck for almost three years………..
Only way to get us about 4 or 5 bucks per share..which is a Nasdaq requirement.
Also….it would take LQMT having an incredible ramp up of revenue to get us there WITHOUT a reverse split.
It also gets the share count down to something more manageable for what essentially is a "start up."
I'm predicting 5:1 or 10:1 RS….if the other scenario with Li buying us out at 16 cents doesn't prevail.
Eagle:
You called it: .147. A year ago.
If I didn't know better I'd say some one was messin' with ya!
A scenario I've thought of but don't really wish to entertain is that the PsTB manipulate the PPS back down to 7 or 8 cents and then the shareholders are offered a buyout at 16 cents (Li's purchase price)
by Li…..i.e., we capitulate…...and then he takes the company private.
Something is not right with the manipulation of the PPS that we have seen over the last 8-10 months.
I've speculated to myself that maybe the Chinese government is involved in this process.
Naturally, as a shareholder, I hope this isn't what happens…but it's crossed my mind.
It's all TOO uniform and orderly. Intentional and on purpose.
My question:
what entity keeps surpressing the stock price from moving up?
Daily volume for the last 8 months on average between 750,000 and 1,000,000.
Seems all very calculated.
Congratulations Prof. Li & Co!
…we all had the opportunity to sell at 44 cents including Li.
A famous personage on this board calls it BULL SHEET.
Heard him say it numerous times!
Mr Li could put his USA LQMT shareholders at ease if he explained how this is all going to work
at the annual meeting, as it is not clear at this point.
Contracts, revenue, income……………..????????????????????????????????????
Whoop-dee-doo!
Where's the revenue? Where are the contracts?
Lots of smoke but no fire.
Because he's a hired shill for the company
I guess he doesn't like to be "called out."
But good for you Patent Guy: thank you for positing the critical questions that we could use answers to.
Seems to me—by rough estimate—87% of what gets posted here on iHUB is wishful thinking.
This is the fantasy I've been telling myself all along….that certain people in the know have been quietly accumulating for the the past 18 months….to the point of even having enough financial sway to manipulate the price down to buy in at a lower and lower costs basis
Based on the falling value of the YUAN at the moment (now approaching 7:1)…we can't ignore currency considerations here.
The dollar is VERY strong….it would be to Li's benefit to make as much money in the US as possible.
that's what it refers to…thus fat
