That sounds about right and appears to be the average time frame. Congrats to you. I thought I lost my investment as well. I was up nicely before the halt but I'm glad I got something back. Best of luck on your future investments.
No worries and thanks to you and all those people who hung in there. This is definately unprecedented and hats off to them for doing the right thing. As for me, I'm pretty much done with pennies. The manipulation is too great. It's bad enough in the major exchanges now already so there's no need to dabble in the unregulated markets. Most won't do what LAHO did so I won't risk it. Good luck to you though.
I think you missed my post where I stated that I got paid. The same day it was showing "pending" in my account, it cleared that afternoon. I'm all good now. Glad things worked out for you and all of us early investors. This really is unprecedented. In most cases this is a loss. Good luck on your future investments.
I've finally gotten my payout (pending) in my account as of this morning minus about $250 in fees. It could be completed by now but I haven't checked lately. It took about 18 days from when I received the signed and completed docs email from Peter. Thankfully this ordeal is over and time to move on. Good luck all.
Congrats...hopefully mine will come soon so I can also put this experience behind me. Good luck in your future investments
Will do thanks
Will do...thanks
He apparently has gone dark. Mine was completed with signatures for 17 days now and with deposit or response to email yet.
Sounds like a little more of the 'ol runaround in store for me....for now.
Same here. Got confirmation email signed off on 1/31 and I'm still waiting for funds. I just sent Peter another email. "What's My Money?"
Yeah TDA gave me the runaround at first as well. You would think this is the first time this has ever happened.
Cool...I got the confirmation email with signed copies from Peter on Jan. 31st (surprisingly at about 11:30PM at night mind you) so I'm nearing that now. Fingers crossed. Thanks.
I've been waiting on mine as well for over a week now since Peter signed off on my paperwork as complete. They are in no hurry that's for sure. The wire transfer process must be a little confusing. Good Luck
Interesting....
Yeah the call takers aren't familiar with the process. I was getting the runaround like that in the beginning as well but they immediately transferred me to a broker that handles those requests. They told me the requests usually originates from Vstock not the customer so it seemed that both are waiting on each other to get it started. They could also be waiting to receive the physical DWAC request before they initiate the process.
The Medallion is just a stamp from a bank which verifies your signature. Kinda like a notory. TDA aren't issuing anything. You might want to contact the broker in TDA cause the guy that answers the phone usually doesn't know and can't help you anyways. So yes I call BS on that because I just did it.
Things could've been handled so much differently and much sooner but at the end of the day we are finally getting paid. A wild ride indeed....GL
I logged into the TDA platform (not the think or swim version) and went to the message center section. It'll show you a section to write a brief explanation of your issue and allow you to upload forms which is where I uploaded a photocopy of the Medallion stamped DWAC form. I got my confirmation response within the platform that my request was completed on 1/26. They'll probably get the original form eventually but that just helped me move things along I think. Good luck
No problem... They both appeared to be waiting on the other one to initiate the request. So it's just a matter of getting them moving on it by contacting them.
In my experience, TDA (USA) had given me the runaround as well saying that usually such requests would come from Vstock not from the customer. I had called multiple times (at least 3) and had them notate my account with the approval to transfer if the DWAC request come in. Still nothing happened until I uploaded a copy of the Medallion stamp paperwork via the online support located on the platform. The day after, I got an email from Vstock stating that my shares were matched and completed. About a day later the shares were gone from my account. I guess the only thing left is for Peter to sign off it then the check should be in the mail so to speak. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Nope. They haven't. Fooled me once but not again. I still doubled my money and when the payout comes I'm out.
The SEC suspends stocks all the time. Nothing new. I think most were surprised at the timing of the so called (best interest of investors) that the stock was suspended in the middle of a run up which would have put most investors in major profit, myself included. It's a done deal now and I'm glad to get something back either ways. Not sure why we're still rehashing this thing. Good luck
I'm not sure...I didn't see any other option other than wiring to a bank account. I may have missed it though. I would imagine that in order to do the payout, they need the shares no matter where they are. These shares were considered lost so to get anything back is a win even if you have to pay the 10% penalty IMO. Check with your broker and IRA administrator though. Good luck.
Should be able to contact your broker and start the DWAC withdrawal process first. Then he'll sign and authorize the ACH wire transfer after everything is complete. That's how I understand it and what I'm waiting on. My shares are gone from my broker and I'm waiting on him. Took me several calls and emails to my broker to get the process started. Good luck.
Congrats...My Medallion docs were verified delivered to their office 4 days ago so I'm waiting as well.
I'm taking what I can get. I really didn't expect anything and considered this a loss and almost forgot about it. The website clearly stated that LAHO is no longer a company so I don't know why one wouldn't take the settlement....JMO. I got in @ trip 7 so I still made money...finally.
I'm aware of that but they are two sides of the same coin. Both entities enforce what they want when they want. If trading in the pinks were that big of a cesspool, they can shut down trip 000s all together and require proof that these companies are a legit business just for starters. They keep it going cause there's money to be made for them as well. Finra is well aware of the pinks that don't trade for weeks/months or the many delinquent ones sitting for years but yet they do nothing. My argument still stands although pointless. GL
There's a lot that can be done to protect future investors if that truly was the case. Starting with actually prosecuting somebody. There's a thought. Or how about helping stop the billions of created shares that go up for sale to the public by companies that hide behind the premise of "raising capital" then get reverse split multiple times (which instantly steals the public's money) then most likely fall to zero. Or how about limiting/preventing the same shady people of multiple scams from showing up in different shady companies. If Ihub investigators can figure it out, surely the SEC can. Enlighten me about the hundreds if not thousands of dormant tickers that have/are collecting dust (and investors money) for years. I can go on but why? So "protecting future investors "....... yeah whatever. GL
Might be some truth in your statement. Protecting investors by shutting it down when most were actually in profit is kinda odd to me but what do I know....GL
I agree. I saw the potential when I invested. Thought it was a great idea but been holding this thing about a year now
I got this one in my portfolio too, unfortunately
$1 is better than zero but at the end of the day it's still a loss. I think getting back investor's initial investment then let them decide If they want to move forward with MSSV or cash out is a much start IMO. GLA
I don't think that equation (formula) is correct. The average investor can't trade on the 5th digit let alone a 7th digit obviously. The conversion would essentially be worthless.... unless that was the point you're trying to make.
Do tell.....
I must admit punctuality has not been these guy's strong suit. All we can do is wait though. GL
I think some have argued relentlessly asking why GSCG didn't merge with a clean shell to go public instead of merging with LAHO that had years of delinquent filings?....and here we are but the narrative still changes I see.
I believe "GSCG" ticker is already taken unfortunately.
Roag....your links only take me yahoo finance but not the message board. I'll keep trying. I wanted to check to see if it was something meaningful or user error. Thanks
Not sure if it's related or just a coincidence
Thanks that's kinda what I figured. I asked because a poster posted some info pertaining to LAHO that came across the Bloomberg Terminal. Shortly afterwards the board was cancelled due to an investigation of possible insider trading.
