DMTK/DMTKW i own both, but find the common to be compelling as well, especially considering it's really trading around 2.90 post-merger, taking into account the 1/2 r/s.
in other words, the rights-redeemers crushed it from over 10 to 2.26 before its modest recovery to its current 2.90 level (r/s adjusted).
as with all SPAC mergers post-8/1/19, there's delist risk to consider, and DMTK is no different. in fact i fully expect the warrants to get delisted like RPAYW, AESEW, WINRW etc.
jtomm, re: DMTKW - so the interesting thing here is that they essentially got an extention of a couple years. Original SPAC warrants were due to expire in 2022.
KiK, sorry for the late response. Didn't receive a notification of your reply. I think you have your answer though. Have you started a position? I'm guardedly excited, and feel like the warrants could actually end up in the money if things proceed as they should, but they're clearly a lotto until medicare decision is announced.
DMTK <1M float near-term r/r trade, and longer term monster
DMTK is an ex-SPAC deal (used to be CNAC), with the resulting 70% post-SPAC dip, a 1/2 r/s, and a resulting company with <1M float and all the promise in the world.

i think BOSC is dead$ until they PR the acquisition closure next week.
#s weren't bad, but fwd look isn't as stellar as hoped
BOSC earnings coming Thursday morning. Late day positioners pushed the volume higher. If it's even pretty good, there might be some ELTK-ish action, though BOSC always has trouble maintaining gains.
WISA (1.56) - failed IPO but in bed with Samsung, LG, THX to name a few. Royalty biz starting to gain momentum, with 2H 2019 and 2020 being where the rubber meets the road. Expecting WISA to be $4+ by eoy, as long as the overall market doesn't tank.
Shares being held down due to pending S1, but once completed, shares should jam. I've been buying down here.
Some background info slides, via form FWP: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1682149/000114420419027182/tv521988_fwp.htm
And some 3rd party microcap research: https://tailwindsresearch.com/wisa/
annnnd there's your lowfloat jam of BOSC. nicely called! :)
i liked the fact that some folks were willing to pony up $ at 2.50 for an investment in BOSC's future. it seemed like BOSC was raising $ out of a position of strength as opposed to despereation.
kik re: BOSC...was wondering if you could share your reasons for picking this one for your "pick4" contest.
i'm long as of today's financing PR, and wanted to hear your thoughts.
tia
SPAC warrants are one of the trickiest assets i have seen. you're right - no way to know what's coming down the road.
at least WINRW has announced that they're going to be reducing the exercise price from 11.25 to 4. that's nice for all involved.
yes much better of late. the newsflow is bullish, and the officers putting more of their own $ into the company is an obvious sign of the potential they see for their company
haven't heard anything on that one
it's trading as if the shares underlying the warrants finally went effective.
HUNT was another PHUN one. got smart tho and played the common instead of the warrants
just when one thinks one understands, it jams. go figure. i think that once the S1 for the shares underlying the warrants goes effective, the common and warrants will tank. but who knows, i've been wrong about just about everything on this one

hweb - the r/s wasn't well dissemminated, so that provided an opportunity yesterday to buy sshares pre-r/s (risky) in the .12-.13 range.
have sold most, but holding some just in case the MBOT'ers get interested. long weekend reduces those chances a bit i think. the volume is there though.
BPTH - thx larry. not all reverse splits are created equal. this one felt like it had a better chance than most at succeeding.
GLG also did a r/s this week, but isn't quite as thin nor interesting
BPTH 1/20 reverse Friday. even with recent offering, float should be less than 1M, a sweetspot for momo algos
My understanding of PHUNW has been tweaked a bit since i made the post, but here's where much of the info is located:
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1665300/000121390018015809/f424b3111318_stellar.htm
see pg. 93
RBZ/WINR -- recent SPAC reverse mergers like PHUN/ORGO.
PHUN and ORGO are unique in the fact that the vast majority of pre-merger shareholders redeemed their shares, leaving virtually no float, warrants not able to be redeemed, and common shares stuck in lockup....--> kind of the perfect storm
that said, despite a warrant exchange upcoming for both PHUNW and ORGOW, in addition to changes in # of shares per warrant and exercise price, it would seem that the warrants should be tracking better. this is where DD does not meet the litmus test. something is awry, and i'm not sure what it is.
that said, in the case of WINRW, these don't have an exchange pending (that i'm aware of), and quite the opposite in fact -- recent PR indicates that the company is interested in reducing the exercise price from 11.50 to 4.00. this is GREAT for warrant holders, but it's pending a vote whose date hasn't been made public yet.
WINR had a great day today, and could have other volatile days. I'm not sure WINRW will track the magnitude of WINR moves yet, since the warrant terms haven't been officially changed yet.
thanks tom, makes sense, though the degree of the drop seems a bit much
MICT - i don't follow the story very closely. what happened today? worth a buy down here?

ash, re: DTEA -- there's a school of thought out there that the CEO is interested in taking the company private, and would thus benefit from the lowest public share price possible. regardless of that, there's still profit to be made here. going-private kinda seems like a worst-case scenario that ain't half-bad.
ash congrats on the MICT move AH on the news. could be a nice momentum mover this week. way to stick to your guns
yep i got some SYEV .27s as well. doesn't seem to be any hurry to head higher, which means good chance to accumulate down here
AOI not a cheapie, but a clever way to play 2019+ cannabis + hemp.
who better to get into farming cannabis/hemp than an existing farmer. acquisitions and expansions should start to hit the bottom line in 2019.
agree ash re: SYEV. I know what you're looking for for the most part, and won't waste your time with posts that don't meet my criteria.
besides the earnings growth, SYEV now has the Cannabis angle. I expect that angle to perhaps provide a faster catalyst than the earnings alone would.
hi KiK! curious if SYEV L2 always this heavy. glad to be able to get more shares should I choose to do so
If SYEV gets the cannabis premium, that would launch it far faster than their appreciating earnings. Certainly part of the reason their 2019 outlook was bullish.
I grabbed some today as well, and am looking to add. Hard to find new lowfloat, legit cannabis angles these days
Ash -->SYEV - profitable water filtration + pot angle
Have you taken a look at this one? Always been a high quality name amongst the junkyard of OTC, but they just put together a nicely profitable 2018, have a bullish outlook for 2019, and now have a cannabis angle w/ new products being released.

BTIG currently at .55! take a screenshot before he changes his mind
so to recap, within the past year we have had the CEO buy, an overhaul of the largest ownership position split up into various institutional investors, and now another fund has bought a million shares.
it's true that BTIG has been on the ask for years. it was darned near a miracle when he moved off of .12. i figured he has been selling for whoever the seller was in the big transfer of ownership...meaning that he'd leave the ask once the shares were transferred. but that hasn't been the case unfortunately.
i feel like management ought to expend some resources into figuring out who this seller is, and whether some side deal can be worked out with the myriad institutions that are now shareholders. darn, it's not Christmas yet.
I think that SINO and ELON have a good chance of making their blockchain entrance known.

yes i was surprised to not see it on your list of Microcaps that you're bullish on, but i agree that it seems like more of a trading stock than an investment.
hey ash, curious what your thoughts are on SINO.
with blockchain having numerous applications in supply chain logistics, I'd be shocked if SINO doesn't put out a blockchain pr at some point
