He shouldn't have to name anything for you, but since you're an expert on the names on the dredges, please enlighten the rest us as to exactly what they are.
CK, I wouldn't say "severely depressed", the fact is that half the people there will have smart phones and they will google the London spot price for the going rate of the gold and discount it by about 15% to 20% depending on how "clean" it is as they negotiate the price. I don't know how you repress the weight as all weights are based on the Troy ounce.
Regarding buying other people's gold in the bush, its much tougher than you may think. The Lebanese control that business pretty well. They basically have a standing arrangement with the locals that they will beat anyone's offer by 5%. They have hundreds of millions of Leones which is generated from their many businesses (grocery stores, restaurants, petro stations, roadside stands etc.) which they use to buy the gold. They smuggle the gold thru Guinea where it not too difficult to bribe a border guard and then to the middle east where it is sold. You Can't convert the Leone anywhere outside of SL.
Not trying to put a damper on your expectations, just keeping it real.....
I would guess 100k plus. It is obviously easier to determine the value of gold in the bush, but diamonds will have to be brought into town to have an expert view. Several trusted members of the Paramount Chief would join the Sney team for a visit to someone agreed upon by both parties.
CK, I think Dredge was referring to the fact that water is readily available during the rainy season, and yes, washplants are extremely water intensive. Because it is raining so much during that time, the ground becomes very saturated making it difficult to move heavy equipment around. Nothing is easy in SL, especially mining during the rainy season.
"heavy rains make wash plants more efficient"... care to explain this?
No one gets kicked out of a mining area for not being benevolent towards the surrounding villages. While both the Lebanese and Chinese are detested by the locals, the Koroma government isn't about to play favorites as long ALL associated fees are paid for in a timely manner. Sney learned that lesson the hard way...
He is probably the same person, and I don't care either way, but what I don't believe is Tosca's explanation. The guy I met told me his name was Bill Brown. Bill went on to say that he was the Dredgemaster who was posting on the Sney board. So if he wants to be known as Dave Price or Bill Brown, it doesn't really matter, just don't understand the reason for the charade....
Which guest house?
Meant to say Koidu, possibly as bad or worse road than the one to Bo.... not going to be easy.
There better be a very good reason, otherwise Dredge will be high and dry on the Sewa mid-season. Parent's fondness for travel is well documented with very little to show for the thousands of dollars wasted....
If all three dredges are operational (according to PR, they are) there is no reason not to get started now. Transporting these dredges to the Sewa represents a very real challenge. The road to Bo is still extremely rough. I'm sure the other logistics are worked out and they have already determined where they will work.
27th of JAN, try to pay attention.
With all due respect to your fine efforts at some of the best DD on this board I stand by what I said, both men were where I said they were on the 27th of last month. Several sources have confirmed this information. Talk to JYD, he will confirm timeline.
I guess all is going well if you don't mind starting the season a month late, with the main dude cooling his heels in Magburaka while the management is preparing for yet another expensive trip to SL spending money that should be going to dredge for operations. Yeah, so I guess things are preceding pretty much as expected....
Yeah, there must be a dozen different ways to show that...
Do tell Fang, so exactly how would you propose they separate the gold from rhe concentrate?
Of course they gave notice to Sney management first. You just happened to be the last one to find out......Maybe your connections are not quite as good as you thought....
It's probably easier to determine what's NOT going on with Sney. Wilfred is still stuck in Kinshasa with no money or way to get back and Price is hanging out in Magburaka, probably waiting for some money...
Really? If you had been following the company for years like you claim (BS), you would have known there are hundreds of companies working in the Kono district.
I'm sure someone with your inside knowledge must have known for quite some time that the concession has been lost for almost a year. 50km was awarded to a Turkish company and the rest was divided between two other companies.
Maybe the BIG GUYS that you know could afford to invest in YOUR company, oh wait, they already know about your scam....
I'm sure when you say "a few of my friends" that accurately portrays the actual number of friends that you have.
JYD, you should know this clown. He has many names such as scott123158, chuckycheese and phil85. He is NOT an investor here now nor has he ever been.
That's right....so why don't you tell him what an "informed" (insider) knows so that you can straighten him out...
HaHa!! Not very likely you or alda will get anymore PMs from me. You have your "sources" stick with them.....Seems to be working out pretty well for you so far...
I hear some things from SL...best you PM me or email me.
That's good, I'm sure you got the straight scoop, GLTY, you too Fang.
I didn't attack you, just thought it weird for you to seek my advice privately and act totally different publicly.... Shall I share some of your concerns?
Why wouldn't I? I answer everyone, the point is, why are you embarrassed to ask those questions on the board where everyone can see what your concerns are. I guess you don't want anyone to think you have any doubts about your investment...
You do imply continuously that you have insider info and that info is ALWAYS that thing are going along just great.
Who??? I think it's kinda funny Alda how you send me all these private messages asking what I really think about the company and thanking me for the info, but don't have the nerve to ask publicly. Why is that?
Yeah, it's really honest how you spin things to your own liking..
Things ($$) are still missing and I'm sure you get MY meaning...
Clegg, don't know if he put up any of his own or not, doubt that he did. Also, meant to say 2011, not 2012. I know that the money raised got sucked up by the boys in Arizona AFTER an operational budget for the 2012 mining season was already adopted and approved.
Well, miracles DO happen and Christmas is almost here so yeah...I guess I see a glimmer...:), but the time is at hand, rains have pretty much subsided and it's time to put up or shut up.
It's definitely the last chance to make it happen, Dredge is capable, but not without the proper funding. Still have shares here.
I think Mikey and Austin are right about what will probably happen. Too much money is spent on travel, hotels and other nonsense. The money needs to go to the operation, period.
As mentioned previously, Bill will be an asset, no question about it but if he is under-funded even he won't be able to pull a rabbit out of his A$$. He has some good ideas and all it takes is money.
Regarding the Sewa and Liberia, both good areas with a lot of promise, just wish the focus was more defined. Dredge is pretty pragmatic and should be able to convince mgt that they shouldn't bite off more than they can chew. That being said, remember that Parent has a knack for making things go sideways. Mikey and Risk both know this as do a few who won't admit it...
If mgt will defer to DM and has some money to shove his way, then you can expect good things to happen IMHO.
If you address me by my correct name, then I will be happy to offer my opinion. If you want Dale's opinion, send him an email.
You may not believe me, but I am hoping to hear the collective sounds of drums and blender for everyone's sake.....
