Not extremely relevant but, 3 Fun Facts about Alvin Snaper:
1)As a “wealthy inventor” Mr. Snaper's gun collection once held over 14,000 individual firearms.
2)He was suspected of having ties to “The Company”, a large drug trafficking organization.
3)He was once charged and eventually acquitted of theft from the China Lake Military Base for stealing items to be used in drug trafficking operations.
I appreciate your input! I will be content with my small gain and stay away from this stock. Thanks again!
You got that wright. I took a very small position this morning after seeing the news late last night. Remembering what Bieber has done in the past, I got out within an hour (made $200). I do have a question about this for you though Ken: Bieber has an option to purchase 2 million shares at .49, what do you think the chances are his associates will try to pump it above that pps for him to make extra profit off this deal? Thanks in advance.
I think what he is saying is all brokers have their own credit requirements.
Example from one of my brokers (who sucks for shorting) credit requirements are:
Reduced margin eligible securities is 130% of the market value
Securities selling at $2.00 or more is 150% of the market value
Securities selling at $1.50 to $1.99 is $3.00 per share
Securities selling at $1.00 to $1.49 is 200% of market value
securities selling at $0.10 to $0.99 is 250% of market value
Technically yes, you are risking even more if your broker hasn't covered your position before cost rises above collateral (Highly unlikely). But remember, the only way for you to lose that collateral in your example on mjna is if it went to $2.50pps. Even if it jumped to $1.00 pps without covering you would still be only losing $100k while the other $150k would be returned to your account. Shorting def has it's risks.
It doesn't cost $2.50 per share to short a stock. Think of it more like a security deposit in case the stock takes off. The "deposit" depends on your broker. You get it back when you cover your position.
Very Naive! 40% of my trading is shorting penny stocks.
No I'm not short on MJNA!
I feel the same.
I agree! He's always bee straight up with me too. Definitely the real deal! Plus he's from BC so that gives him a cool factor of 10 wright off the top.
Lol. That thought crossed my mind as well. Although he comes across as unusual in his ways and the blog seems unprofessional, he has always been accurate with his statements, albeit his timing is often off by a little.
NP. It's from LT. He is basically the PR guy from CTDT. when you call the company with questions they direct you to speak with LT. You can view his blog at the following link: http://stratagemm.blogspot.ca/
You can also access the blog by clicking on the B which is located on the bottom right corner of the company website.
April 2: "My read on events taking place behind closed doors point to the culmination of all the things I have posted over the last five months, being born sometime in the next five to seven days." (IKYN) - LT
He is often a little early with his statements so I would say anywhere from from tomorrow to Friday.
Wow! I initially got in at .03's and averaged down to .01's. I thought that was what most around here started at as well. Thanks for the info.
Do you really suspect the larger holders got in at initially at .50+? I've only been following this since September so not sure.
My plaesure;) Forgot to mention, the only reason I would consider getting rid of a small portion of my shares in the $1 - $2 dollar range is to get back my initial investment. Just a personal rule I try to abide by. Even then it would only be about 2% of my total position.
Wouldn't be surprised if Element six (private company mostly owned by De Beers)is taking a good hard look at CTDT. Nothing they can do other than consider attempting to acquire CTDT as the entire process and technology is patented.
Absolutely agree 100% that the demand for synthetic diamonds is mind boggling. The "current" largest producer of synthetics (who is still using the old CVD method) recently invested in upping their production by 50% and can't come close to keeping up with demand. The quick process like the one CTDT has would be exactly what the market would need to help with all the demand. This process can rocket CTDT to the top of the chain for producing these diamonds.
Yes, I know. And I agree times are very different from then. I've been following this board since last summer. I've also been picking up small amounts of shares here and there since September. I got a little impatient with the lack of news sometimes but always remained optimistic as the fundamentals, mind behind CTDT, and potential for this technology are absolutely astonishing. I'm usually a flipper but not here. Will be holding long and strong and won't be giving up my shares until we're well into full production and at least in the +$1 or $2 range. Even then I will probably only give up a small portion. Go CTDT!
lol.
Just to note, those ? marks in my last post were suppose to be check marks. don't know what happened to them.
Fundamentals: looks great - check
Associated risk: Very little - check
CEO'S criminal record: non existent - check
Thanks for the recommended things to look at el lobo. lol.
sounds like el lobo (the wolf) should be el lobo in sheep's clothing. lmao.
Fundamentals: Looks great?
Associated risk: Very little risk?
CEO'S criminal record: Non Existent?
I could see that very easily.
Wow, things are looking really good here! I'm quite confident we'll get the expected big news next week. After that this puppy will def explode. Go CTDT!
That might explain why the website has been down for the last 3 days. I have a good feeling about the future of CTDT!
For sure! A little more about the new product. I'm very curious.
I agree! Little promo would be nice.
Indeed! Very small amount available. This could def take off in a heartbeat.
Would love to get some new news and see that bid catch up to the ask!
Must have been very briefly. Just called and they answered.
New blog post out!
Where are you from? Compton? lol.
ROTFLMAO! I'll pay .26! Sorry to out bid ya Duck.
We have a lot in common. I'm also from an island (Vancouver island in Canada) where it is very socially acceptable and have been a daily smoker since my preteens. Since I quit last month I haven't been able to eat or sleep and have been very irritable as well as having the craziest and strangest most vivid dreams I've ever had. Glad you found out the cause. I don't ever want to have another episode so I'm going to continue to stay away unless I have it again. GLTY!
Thanks for the reply. Bit of a double edged sword but it's nice to hear from someone who has gone through the same thing. How long ago did you quit? I take it you haven't had a single episode since you quit?
Thanks for the well wishes. I didn't feel you were making light of anything. As a former investigator I respect and appreciate an investigative mind set. GLTY.
I agree that the research is shit as they can't have a controlled study due to the ridiculous laws involving marijuana. My family and friends (who all toke including my parents) are just as skeptical as I am that this is the cause. I have had over 25 Doc opinions between 7 different hospitals in 4 different cities and 2 different provinces. I have had every possible test and have never had a diagnosis until this young Doc at the ER in November mentioned this syndrome which he had been recently reading about. The hot bathing is really weird. I had been doing it compulsively when I got sick for years before I had heard of this syndrome. I would not vomit when I was in the bath and it would lessen the pain a little. Although I would vomit as soon as I got out and the pain returned instantly. This caused me to go in and out of the bath 20 to 30 times a day when I was having an episode. I would also beg the doc's and nurses to let me have hot baths (only one hospital in a small town ever let me do so). No doc has ever given me a reasonable explanation other then this syndrome (which I admit I'm skeptical about). Most Doc's say they don't have a clue although I had one tell me I was crazy and a couple suspect me of being a heroin addict (I'm def not and never have been the later.) I'm at the point now where I have no other option but to quit for several months and see if I still get episodes. If I still get the episodes several months from now then obviously this is not the cause and I will again be reunited with my beautiful mj. Only time will tell for me. Also, the only reasonable explanation in my opinion as to why this syndrome (if this is what it is) is just now emerging may be due to the fact that the weed now is much higher in THC content then it has been the last 2500 years or so. I also come from an area where mj is practically part of the culture and is known to have some of the highest concentrated weed in the world. In someways I hope this is real so I can put an end to the sickness but other parts of me hope it's BS so I can be reunited with my girl mj. What ever it may be I should know if MJ is the cause by June as I quit last month and that will be more then enough time to prove to myself weather this is the cause or not. Thanks for your interest and GLTY.
Thanks for the well wishes. A couple theories attempting to explain the symptoms have been published. These theories fall into two themes; 1) dose dependent build up of cannabinoids and related effects of cannabinoid toxicity, and 2)the functionality of cannabinoid receptors in the brain and particularly in the hypothalamus. Dr's Chang and Windish (2009 )offer a summary of corroborating evidence for these theories; however, they note that the mechanisms by which cannabis causes or controls nausea and the adverse consequences of long-term cannabis toxicity remain unknown. One thing is for sure, if I'm still getting episodes after several months of abstinence, My fiance and I will be smoking like Marley again;) GLTY also!
It's long to explain but here is a link to one of the studies with a brief description.
I think it's a little dif then that. That sounds more like you greened out. CHS will often hit you out of no where even when you haven't smoked in hours. It would usually waken me in the middle of my sleep. The pain is a 10 out of 10 and you vomit and dry heave for at least 24 hours sometimes for days continuing with 10 out of 10 pain. Soaking in extremely hot water to the point of obsessive/cumpusive behaviour is usually a learned slight symptom reliever for sufferers (Belived to have something to do with the CB1 receptors of the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis). Antiemetics (same ones they use for chemo patients) are of little relief. Morphine barely relieves the pain. This is very rare and only a couple studies have been done. I believe it was first noticed in an area of Australia which is known for very high grade.
I'm really sorry to hear this. It's the worst thing in the world!
Fortunately and unfortunately I haven't had an episode since I quit.
