You can count on that, capt AL. If you spent a week along the Florida Treasure Coast, you'll realize more revenue just in modern coins than Scott Heimdal ever gave to his shareholders. If you happen to find a real artifact, you will be ahead of what that man found.
Why on earth would anyone buy anything that would connect him/her to ORRV. The name itself is so tainted it would poison any new venture. Resurrecting a company implies the name has value. ORRV has none. The only way shareholders will get anything out of this investment would be to kidnap Mr. Heimdal and hold him for ransom again (only joking here). I doubt the citizens of Peoria would rally to his aid this time anyway. Quite honestly I wouldn't trade places with the man. I'm surprised he hasn't been indicted. Time to move on, everybody. (Full disclosure: sitting on 500,000 shares bought years ago.)

the asking price was $65K in 2011. Looks like more of a river boat to me lol!
I take no joy in my comments. I have 500,000 shares and also have a personal connection with Scott H. Even under the best of circumstances, take that 5+% interest in whatever the emeralds are worth, and divide that by the roughly 1 billion ORRV shares... I'm afraid the math just doesn't look good.
"I have my shares"
Then I'm afraid you have nothing. The ORRV shares are not worth the energy it takes to display them your computer screen. We have to face it, everyone... ORRV is not a company anymore. It has no assets to speak of, and is going nowhere. The website is a borderline scam.
Sorry.
Please provide your calculation that justified your 20-cent stock price. I am very curious.
What choice do any of us have LOLOL?? There's no liquidity to sell now even if we wanted to :(
With all due respect I must take issue with your position on echocardiograms. The data on valvulopathy showed a slightly LOWER incident than placebo, not higher. Requiring echos every three months represents a huge expense and will restrict the rollout of the drug. I was a study patient and I can tell you I would hate to have to shoulder such a financial burden given the results from 8000 patients.
Folks, it's time we all just admit what we don't want to admit: this dog won't hunt.
You may just be able to afford a case of beer with your shares the way this is going.
5000 shares? Like 3 bucks worth??? Are you kidding?????
where are we going??
Real lively board, ain't it?!
The 60 Minutes video showed divers picking up emeralds scattered all over the surface of the sand... just lying there in plain site. I say this is highly suspect in shallow water after 400 years of storms.
I fear the best we can hope for with this ticket is winning another free ticket :(
I want you to be right.
ORRV has over 900million shares out. Who the hell is going to bid them to 50 cents, or even 10cents, based on their tiny interest in those emeralds?? This seems like hoakey Facebook valuation to me. Look at the company and revenue stream, and please convince me the market is going to value it at $450million. I have 500K shares and their value right now wouldn't buy me a decent bottle of bourbon.
Your multiples may have merit with NASDAQ and DOW companies, but I don't see your math with this sub-penny stuff.
Again, I WANT YOU TO BE RIGHT...
$30,000,000 equals less than 4-cents/share.
This rocket ressembles the one N. Korea launched IMHO.
I guess you could say we are up 11% this morning. Keep in mind with a stock like ORRV there are the concerns of liquidity. Even if you wanted to sell, there may not be buyers out there.
OK my friends... new poster here but I've held this stock for years. I watched 60 Minutes right along with all of you. I'm watching the stock open today and, low-and-behold: NOTHING.
The story stinks. I started diving in 1959. I lived in south Florida for years. Let me tell you something about the ocean. Forget about hurricanes for a moment (of which there have been many that crossed the Keys.) Let's just talk about storms. A good Nor-easter storm surge can shift a wreck at 90 feet down. The moving water forces are tremendous. The idea that emeralds are going to just lay on top of the sand at 50' down is ludicrous. Some may be there one day, and gone after the next storm. Even after just a few years, they'll not only be buried, they'll be scattered over a large area.
Now this guy wants us to believe the emeralds are not in 50' of water, they're in 11'?? In a storm, 11' of sandy bottom isn't even water anymore. It's basically a sand slurry. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
Now lets bring in hurricanes. No, let's just factor in one hurricane. Those emeralds get scattered over miles. You would have just as good a chance finding one of them on the beach as you do in the open water. Beachcombers all along the Florida "Treasure Coast" find stuff all the time from any of the many ships that foundered off that part of Florida. Those wrecks are all long gone, scattered by hundreds of storms over hundreds of square miles.
As investors, we deserve by law to know the material facts that might affect our stock. I am convinced we are not getting those facts. ORRV may be a rinky-dink operation, (a website and a long line of BS), but as a publicly traded company the same laws that apply to GE apply to ORRV.
Good luck. It's all we can hope for to recoup our investments.
