Didn't they say they were taking the company private in the PR? How would shareholders benefit?
This is a great post. This holds a lot more weight than any so called "news article."
I googled his past articles. A weak source for info IMO. Funny how insider info would make its way to India.
If there is a debt for equity deal, does that usually wipe out shareholders?
How is this legal? Spreading insider info or spreading rumors? Company has not issued any statements and anything could happen here.
Holy cow!
I think it followed psu* today along with a fairly low float. Congrats longs. I'm not confident in this play but I like to see green days.
I tried to find a better value on the OTC and couldn't. With a small float like this, it shouldn't take much to take us up to higher prices.
Nice post. I can't say I disagree. Maybe one day this company will plug the hole in ship. It was good for a quick flip but history will repeat itself more than likely. I don't think their FDA approvals are going to make them close to profitable anytime soon and the cash spend is unmanageable IMO. I'd rather put my money on a Vegas table game than gift it to debtholders...at least then I'd have a chance to come out ahead.
What is your prediction on the dilution that GBSN will see? Just because it went down before doesn't mean it will continue, although I definitely won't rule that possibility out.
Plenty of people made money on it. People just tend not to boast about their gains. The float has been traded a couple of times over a few days. I assure you that you are not the only one that flipped it.
It limits shorting below a 10% drop in PPS. I think it's only good until the next trading day. It shows heavy shorting and it a way to protect shareholders. I think eventually it can trigger a halt as well.
1.75 mil traded already today!
If any filings come out and/or updates, blast off! Still a good value here with a tight float IMO.
"In anticipation of the suspected buyout of Aeropoatale"
What makes you think there will be a buyout?
Nice buys at the open today
It might be good for a rebound. I don't disagree. It looks like it's bouncing off prior support. Probably a good short term buy.
I quickly counted 8 opinions (see below from previous post). I don't think opinions are a bad thing. I personally think that the average consumer considers Aeropostale to be a low tier designer and they make inexpensive, lesser quality clothing. With sales down significantly and very little cash on hand, this company's days are numbered IMO. Slumping sales is evidence that this company has a brand that is becoming less desirable.
Re: AUDACIOUSWON Post# 1206
You sir might be just as out of touch as the company's management...lol"1". It's actually one of the better quality brands out there"2". That's why thy've maintained name recognition and their products cater to the higher end of the market"3,4". Retail stores can readily cut overhead. With cash on hand exceeding market cap and 1bil in sales being generated, they become an attractive target here "5". Their fopaux is not moving beyond 'what used to work' when it wasn't working anymore. "6"
IMO, their next mistake going forward would be to implement what the PR alluded to- a focus on the lower end of the market "7". It would represent yet one more managerial mis-step "8". Let's see if we can get an activist investor inside and a couple new members on the board.

I did a search and this came up first. This is not quality or growing brand. They have been in trouble for some time. I respect your opinion but I disagree with you.
I don't really know but I think it's very possible there will be more about "accounting errors" that will pop up in court. Perhaps this never held near the value that was stated. I've read a lot about their history in articles and there were a lot of questionable things that happened. I'm wondering why no one has been held legally responsible for the losses that have occurred. Good lawyers or perhaps no crime was actually committed?
I believe they are referring to the creditors, with unsecured meaning there are no assets as collateral. They have a better chance of preventing losses and would be in line before shareholders. It's hard to believe how quickly this company went under after acquiring JP Turner and Cetera. There are a lot of questions and maybe some will be answered through the courts.
Out of touch? The financials don't lie. They will be out of cash by next quarter probably and revenues have been going down. I've seen this before. BK will be the next step IMO. Also, I believe they sell an inferior, overpriced products with a name that holds little value. JMO. We'll see what happens. Good luck.
This is going to be a long road ahead and there is still little chance commons will get compensated, however that is generally the case with BKs and anything could happen. I hope for the best as a shareholder. I still don't understand why they couldn't strike a funding deal without BK. Perhaps their assets had little leverage. They sold off a lot of their assets for nothing to focus on Cetera, which was overpaid for to begin with...I'm still not sure why they threw in the towel so quickly. When the original Cetera deal fell through, they were boasting about how there were companies lined up to strike a similar deal.
I'm showing they had 40 mil last Q and they had 205 mil in inventory. There is no chance they don't declare BK soon IMO. AERO has always been overpriced and poor quality. The brand itself has never been appealing either. The financials are awful too. JMO.
Why would you average down on a BK stock? A large majority of the time investors get wiped out.
Yea I like seeing a successful play even if I'm not in. This one will definitely react to news but is still a risky play. I think if they can manage their expenses without diluting too much, this will be a winner.
I see this bouncing off of the $8 support. Wow what a run and fall. Such a small float.
Up big on low volume. Always nice to see.
Support didn't hold at all today...I think it will test the high 8s too.
I wonder why the website remains active with fairly recent updates.
Filing out. D.E. Shaw increased their position in BCRX.
Congrats longs! This was due for a correction. This has a small float and the trading action today really showed that.
Millions? Lol
I know they settled some debt per the recent 8-k but I'm unsure what convertible debt is left. Any idea how much convertible debts/warrants are left? That could definitely cause the share price to drop rapidly...just not enough bid support here to sustain dilution. Did the CEO issue a statement about listing on Nasdaq? Oxis would need to meet a minimum PPS.
Does the convertible debt in note 4 still stand? It looks like it converts at 50% the MV.
Sometimes shareholders will be issued new shares but I think a majority of the time they don't get anything.
Looks like the website is being kept up and the phone number on it is still active. I wonder if the patent holds any value or if the shell could be used for a reverse merger. It's hard to believe the PPS is so low.
