Sorry, I know it was OT but, It is Friday : ) .
Two more Churak---
There was a Frenchman, an Englishman and Claudia Schiffer sitting together in a carriage in a train going through Provence. Suddenly the train went through a tunnel and as it was an old style train, there were no lights in the carriages and it went completely dark. Then there was a kissing noise and the sound of a really loud slap. When the train came out of the tunnel, Claudia Schiffer and the Englishman were sitting as if nothing had happened and the Frenchman had his hand against his face as if he had been slapped there. The Frenchman was thinking: 'The English fella must have kissed Claudia Schiffer and she missed him and slapped me instead.' Claudia Schiffer was thinking: 'The French fella must have tried to kiss me and actually kissed the Englishman and got slapped for it.' And the Englishman was thinking: 'This is great. The next time the train goes through a tunnel I'll make another kissing noise and slap that French bastard again.'
How many Frenchmen does it take to change a light bulb?

It doesn't appear that there is enough interest in a weekly contest at this point. Even though 59% of the replies were in favor of a weekly contest, there was 39% who were against it or didn't care to answer.
With spring coming it might not be a good time to start another contest. Too many other things to take our time. Perhaps we will run another survey later in the year and see if things change.

porscha, I know nothing about hydronic hot water radiant heating, but I will be waiting to read what replies you get. I am planning to build a workshop about 30'x40' and I am thinking about heating it. If what you mentioned is what I'm thinking of, it could be a possibility for me. I don't need to have the area at house temperatures, just get it comfortable to work in a long sleeve shirt. While I'm looking, I will pass along whatever I find. Have a good one ~ shao
Thanks Churak. That's Whels, BTW. LOL. Take care, getting ready for work right now so, you're in charge of picking while I'm gone. Have to paint a large stairwell this morning. Gotta have a lot of coffee before I get on scaffolding. I hate painting. See ya ~ shao
Bob or Matt, a lot of discussion on the T-shirts lately. If there is a surplus of these, have you thought of maye using them in your next membership drive? Perhaps a free T-shirt with a paid annual membership. Each month, you could also have the newest monthly subscribers entered for a drawing for one of these beauties.
I don't know how much you have in the production of the shirts but, it seems to me that if they were used to generate new revenue, it might be worth the cost. Just a thought ~ shao

Kroger to Combine Michigan and Columbus Divisions
Flora Promoted to President of Consolidated Division, Which Will Be Based in
Columbus and Operate 229 Stores in Three States
CINCINNATI, March 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Kroger Co. (NYSE:KR)today announced plans to combine its two retail divisions headquartered in Livonia, Michigan and Columbus, Ohio. The consolidation will enable the Company to reduce operating costs, improve administrative efficiencies, and
invest additional capital in the core grocery business to drive sales growth.
Kroger's Michigan division operates 113 stores under the Kroger and Kessel Food Markets banners in Michigan, while the Columbus division operates 116 stores under the Kroger banner in central and northwestern Ohio and parts of West Virginia.
Jon Flora, currently president of Kroger's Michigan division, will lead the combined division of 229 stores and will relocate to Columbus. As previously announced, M. Marnette Perry, currently president of the Columbus division, has been promoted to group vice president of perishables merchandising and procurement for the Company and will join Kroger's senior
management team as a corporate officer in Cincinnati.
Mr. Flora said Kroger will maintain the regional office in Livonia to ensure that local marketing and operating decisions are kept close to the customer. Gary Raymond, currently vice president of operations in Michigan, and Terry Frey, vice president of merchandising, will lead the regional office
and continue reporting to Mr. Flora.
Mel Bomprezzi, currently vice president of operations in Columbus, and Joe Grieshaber, vice president of merchandising, will remain in their respective positions and also report to Mr. Flora.
Kroger employs approximately 12,500 associates in its Michigan division stores and 14,500 in its Columbus division stores. The combining of the divisions will not affect any of those store employees.
"Our customers will continue to see the same familiar faces in their neighborhood stores," said Mr. Flora. "Kroger's commitment to our customers and their communities in Michigan will not change. Michigan is an important market for Kroger. Over the past two years, we have invested $160 million to build, expand or remodel our store base in Michigan. We believe there are significant growth opportunities in this state, and we intend to pursue them."
He said Kroger plans to invest more than $185 million over the next three years to build, expand and remodel its Michigan store base. One result of this capital investment will be the creation of at least 500 new store-level jobs in Michigan this year alone.
"This is a significant capital investment for Kroger and reinforces our commitment to providing our customers with the same great service, selection and value that they have come to expect from Kroger," said David B. Dillon, Kroger president and chief operating officer.
Mr. Flora also said that Kroger will continue its strong support of local communities. Last year the Company contributed more than $1.5 million to Michigan schools, food banks, non-profit organizations and charities. With the combination of the Michigan and Columbus divisions, Kroger now operates 17 retail divisions.

Wal-Mart's invasion of the supermarket business is causing great distress to the incumbents. Who will be the first to suffer from the superstore giant and its 15% discounts? Deutsche Bank analyst Edouard Aubin nominates 2,461-store Kroger (KR), the nation's biggest food seller, and 1,070-store Winn-Dixie (WIN). All six of the food distribution centers Wal-Mart plans to open this year are smack dab in their home territories.
Winn-Dixie is hobbled by heavy debt; it spends less than peers to remodel. Kroger, whose stores are more up-to-date, has a different problem: unions. That's not what you want when countering a price-cutting Goliath.
Short both victims. Cover Kroger at 11 and Winn-Dixie at 9.

Hey Churak, I heard that. Don't make fun of my eating disorder. Just because a man misses his mouth with his fork once in a while, it doesn't make him a slob. Take care ~ shao
Congrats Susie. Sorry for the delay in passing them on but, it got really busy around here the past couple of days. See, you're not jinxed after all.

Churak, it is hard to top a Bass tourney for excitement but a hot dog eating contest sounds like real fun. A West Virginia style hot dog can be very messy. A white shirt would be a must. ~ shao
Bob, they will be the best looking polishing rags you've ever seen : ) Caps are a pretty god idea but polo shirts usually run a little expensive for my taste. Maybe I'm just a tightwad, though. Take care ~ shao
With the hats, it's not usually food. Most of the time I forget I'm wearing it and I crawl under someone's car and mess it up. The black & blue one sound better to me.
What about golf balls with the logo on them. I can loose them all over the place and be spreading fee advertizing for I-Hub : ) Maybe I-Hub could sponsor a Bass Tourney or even a Nascar race, yeah, that's it. I can see the Krispy Kreme decals all ove the car now. Take care ~ shao
Hat! You've got a hat? Where they at? How much they cost? how can we win one? Does Churak get one? What's it look like? Oh man, I can hardly wait : )
