Carter, congrats! Now the question is...when to sell???
it's the share dilution that is making the stock look oversold...
Gangsta,
Check out here:
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/capital-loss-carryover.asp#:~:text=Capital%20losses%20that%20exceed%20capital,until%20the%20amount%20is%20exhausted.
A loss is something you can carry forward indefinitely against future capital gains. You can use $3,000 of that loss per year against income if there are no capital gains.
and even if there were a BK, we would still be able to claim the capital loss of the full amount invested against future gains
no i believe the losses carry forward indefinitely
Gangsta, the losses carry forward and you can use them against future gains...
If there were no money to open the lab, then why would they be hiring for MA lab positions? We need the MA lab up and running ASAP, but after the 49% sale, I don't think money is the problem.
my hope is on Smith getting EVIO to profitability. The opening of the MA lab should be a huge catalyst there. Once to profitability, then slowly expand labs.
well, I hope that by promoting Smith to president is a step in that direction of atleast giving up some control held by WW.
yes Waldrop may have broken the growth mode EVIO, but what about their new strategy of returning the current labs to profitability? Could it work?
Gangsta, if you still believe in the company, why don’t you average down? Even at these levels you could cut your average price in half with a small investment.
any news out? What's creating this surge??
Merry Christmas & Happy Hannukkah everyone. Let's hope EVIO can bring us some long awaited presents in the new year.
I agree with you BDD. I think with the new game plan, the tides have turned.
IMO, they would be timing the news release to correspond with the end of the conversion.
Can the notes that are past due but have a fixed conversion price turn into convert at any price notes? Or are we seeing only the notes that have that any price feature?
Gangsta, how close are we to the end of the share conversions in your opinion?
My hope is that EVIO can atleast get to positive gross profit in the near term and then slowly get to positive ebitda. If they can slowly but surely show signs of improvement, the note conversions should subside and the stock price should rise. If, however, financials do not improve, I think we are headed to bankruptcy.
thanks for that Gangsta. I see alot of the notes say convertible into stock 6 months after the issuance. So does that mean the convertible note holders only have the option to convert exactly 6 months after issuance and no time further? Or is it 6 months+ they can convert?
Ok yes, thanks for showing me. I see what you are talking about. Looks to me like of those notes, $1.9 mil can be converted at prices below where they are now. Question is, how much has been converted already?
i dont see it in the 10Q. If you can't tell me a page number or quote it, then I don't believe you
please show me where you find this otherwise, it appears your are just here to create fear
Please show me in the 10Q where there is $4 million of convertible debt with exercise prices at 0.20.
wait wait, where do you get that the convertible debt will be converted into shares? I see exercise prices of 0.40 on up.
I grabbed 10k shares @ 21 cents. I see it as a win win, the buyout helps them cut costs and gain the backing of Steep Hill to open the MA lab.
"Thanks to cost cutting measures, management reduced loss per share by a whopping 126%. Last year, it was $0.19. This quarter, it was $0.05."
What about the increase in shares outstanding??? That is not a cost cutting measure.
so if they are depreciating stuff from the MA lab then would their SG&A reflect the MA lab as well?
how can you identify that all the D&A is coming from the MA lab? It doesn't make sense as to why there is D&A under cost of goods sold.
In their income statement, does anyone know why D&A shows up twice, once in cost of revenue and once below in SG&A? Why is the cost of revenue D&A so much more than 1 year ago?
I am glad to see the $1 million cut in SG&A, but I am disappointed to see the flat revenues. My hope is we can atleast get to a positive gross profit in the next couple quarters. We need the MA lab to open badly at this point to give us a fighting chance.
At this point, although growth plans have been dampened, I am happy atleast to see EVIO focusing on "shifting Company focus to initiatives that provide immediate profitability." If Kaycha can get to profitability, so can EVIO. I would rather see a smaller profitable company with the structure in place to grow successfully than what we have now, all while doing so without BK.
Order of 100k new iced teas. Will this most likely hit revenue in Q4? Would that be $400k of revenue in Q4 just from the order?
For every share bought there is a share sold...please explain
thanks you too cure!
I agree with Brothchild on the MA lab. The lab should not be taking this long to build/set up. It would be funny to see Kaycha's NY lab already set up before the MA lab.
You would think that getting Evio’s MA lab up and running would be a priority for the state since the goal is to have a safer product. The slowing rate of posts on the MA lab instagram makes me wonder if they are running into delays.
I ordered it and it came intact and I’m in California.
It makes me wonder who is actually setting up the lab? Do they know what they are doing? With the right knowledgeable people, how hard could it be???
MA Lab
I don't know exactly what it takes to put together a lab, but it's been months. I keep watching their Instagram feed and it's showing signs of progress, but what's taking so long? It's not like they are building the next space station on the moon.
I have tried the iced coffee too and I like it, but I'm sure Starbucks could make a CBD iced coffee just as good if not better and is able to distribute nationwide in an instant.
