Thanks for that, but facts relevant to LQMT shareholders' pockets are routinely ignored here. The fact that LQMT is not working with Engle (and others), is an inconvient truth for those in denial. Denial of the facts, as represented by the published numbers, the share price, and the accumulated and accumulating
deficit.Twenty years worth.
If I recall correctly, the Valencia building is devoid of all the machinery LQMT had installed there, and most of it went into storage at Eutectix. Which has produced nothing as far as I know, but that was supposed to validate U.S. manufacturing capability. Another dead end.
Well, someone who knew a lot about BMG, metalurgy, engineering, and the sophisticated machinery to manufacture it. Took the time to know the people involved in it's development, and the executives in charge of marketing it. And
went all in early on. Then was re-encouraged by Apple's interest, years later.
Serious due diligence. Had all his chips on the table. Didn't pay off. Still hasn't.
Not bad thinking, though. And the best source of history on the board, or any board. Can debunk a lot of the baloney about that.
Anyone interested? Not even the Chinese billionaires, in the know and with the
offshore funds. Otherwise, what a bargain this is...
The best argument for LQMT's bright financial future, remains LL's 46% ownership of the shares, via LQMT HK. On the face of it, that's great potential.
He put in $64 million, today on paper, worth about $36 million. And there is cash and cash equivalent, no debt. So the counter-argument would be that LL and the CCP may consider this to be a bargain in exchange for use of the IP and Brand. And just write it off, gains shifted to China/EON/Yihao/etc, which appears to be the case. And they still hold the shares at 9 cents, and control the company.
Not a bad plan, not at all.
So yet once again, there is the Apple induced fortune for LQMT holders on the cusp. A mystery metal. Stronger than steel, faster than a speeding bullet, yada yada, Supermetal. And Apple is going to pay LQMT Valencia who is going to pay me (us) the mega bucks. Payday is upon us once again. Talk about the big lie.
Endless propaganda from the Sino Riddler who has a devoted following, and why not. He knows everything that LL is doing and why. Which altogher has led to not one dime delivered to my (our) pocket from LQMT USA. Like every other episode of LQMT, be it from 2016, 2010, 2002.
How ever briefly.
Okay, so it is a failed pump. What else is new.
It is only July, and the pump up to Apple Season is already in full gear. Just like every other year, since 2010. If Apple is the driving hope for our pockets, we have been and continue to be in deep trouble.
It has occurred to me, given the tear down of LMQT in general, the residuial value of the company outside of a modest balance sheet, is Crucible. Which is something of an enigma these days. With much of the IP and brand being at the disposal of EON et alia, thanks to the (one way) masse' shot via the PAL, what is that value of Crucible? Who is the CEO, who is on the BoD?
Reasons are stated. Duh.
Apple paying to renew trademarks is an irrelevant cost, paying $20 million for IP in 2010 that it may want to use for itself and to keep out of Samsung's hands, was not even a rounding error. Just like $64 million to the CCP for use of the IP and the brand, to meet their 2025 plan to capture and lead tech, is chump change
and a bargain.
No, I do not think you are a pumper, beware the pumpers. And remember 'The youth was not a gift, but just a loan'. Pay back is hell
"I don’t think he would purposely mislead". That is a stretch.
Tells me the same thing, over and over again.
IF apple has been using it, and LQMT Valencia has not booked the corresponding revenue, what does that tell you?
"Apple putting their expertise and name behind a Liquidmetal solution will have the world beating a path to our door. And I think we’ll get paid by Apple."
Famous last words. Already happened, ever hear of the sim card tool? Nobody beat a path. If you are counting on Apple putting big bucks in your pocket, you are ignoring 12 years of history in numbers. And betting on a sure loser. Again.
As far as LQMT Valencia is concerned, Li's personal 'promises' have paid off about as well as the PAL agreements. Neither of which are, in reality, enforceable. No payoff to LQMT Valencia, until and unless LL and the CCP
say so. And, there is virtually no hard news to support that, quite the contrary.
Seven cents, more accumulated losses, and no contracts. Just propaganda. Paid propaganda, in my opinioin.
Super bad. Right. It is super bad. Seven cents. You have a lot of knowledge,
but 'all hat'. That's okay, pretty much the recurring theme here.
Grab your snorkels, we are going under!
The inevitable happened.
Nice dump today. Plenty of room below. Catch a falling knife. Li is down a pile
@16 cents cost basis. But is killing it in China. A grand day for the communists, at our expense. Everybody gets paid but us.
Sorry, hit the wrong keys.
Sorry, hit the wrong keys twice!
Skip all that. LQMT (Li) is obviously not going to sue EONTEC, Li and the CCP for compliance. There is no lawsuit. The PAL is a one way loose caboose. EON, Li, and the CCP will choose to observe it or not. After 6 years, PAL and the Maze is zilch for LQMT Valencia. Of course you can try to instigate a minority class action lawsuit. Given the balance sheet and share count, I don't think you would get anything but third rate representation that will never go to trial and you will get enough out of it for a couple of Happy Meals.
I was just about to post something about LQMT, LL, EON, the PAL, and the China 2025 plan, but you have placed it all in good perspective. So I will just add this for those that have not kept up on their international studies; China, which is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, through the Politburo, is not a capitalism democracy, and like all communist based and/or autocracy based nations, is the epitome of and thrives on, propaganda. Basically, lies, with no institutions or free press allowed to contradict or interfere. In China. But, the propaganda machinations are disseminated around the world. Especially with the internet, social media, etc. I hope everyone understands that. More to the point here, which is us, the retail shareholders of LQMT Valencia, much of what is being posted on social media, derives from that propaganda machine. I hope everyone understands that too. So when the deluge of information, often brought here from other boards, is all about BMG in China, keep in mind, this stuff has never put money in our pockets, or for that matter whale contract revenue. Look for the source, does it come in riddles and hype, or is it the published information from the company we own.
.
The CCP has everything they need from LQMT, and is centering China as the BMG capitol of the world. Why would they want to focus on LQMT Valencia to develop into a big success and competitor?
Even if you check around to the few sites that even bother with LQMT Valencia, even the propaganda/riddles is getting thinner and wearing out. There is nothing happening. For us. In money. All the glamour (and the money) goes elsewhere. LQMT Valencia is dead. And no-one in a position to do anything about that is doing squat. The last remaining argument, that LL has 410 M shares so we are good too, is long defunct, in my view. The counter to that....he already got that back in China from our IP or from the CCP buying his interest in EON, is the default winner. No driving need for urgency in Valencia.
On the other hand, the US and China are trying to figure out how to not toss the Chinese tech companies off the US listings because they refuse to comply with
transparency rules for US listed companies. That should be the next great hope. Even though technically, LQMT is not a Chinese company. Literally, not figuratively. Everyone knows who controls LQMT.
"solely to block other CE companies". 'solely' is the miss. They definitely wanted to keep the IP out of competitors' hands, most particularly aggressive Samsung at the time, and at the same time save the IP for their own use if they ever decided to use it. An easy $20M. That he has right.
"If someone doesn't pull the trigger in the next 18 months I think no one ever will."
Uh, excuse me, just how many times is that goal post going to be moved?
"If someone doesn't pull the trigger in the next 18 months I think no one ever will."
Uh, excuse me, just how many times is that goal post going to be moved?
25 cents. Ca-ching, ca-ching, ca-ching......sucker bait. Which renders nothing
of value. Not one useful iota of information that puts money in our pockets.
Jeez.
Well said and dead right.
Getting beyond the day to day, year to year, decade to decade, failure of hopes and dreams for shareholders, two events stand out as pivotal: No American (or Western) company would buy LQMT, and it fell in to the hands of the CCP 2025 well announced plan to acquire and control high tech. IP and Brand. End of story.
I agree with you about the R/S, however I was alluding to a reverse merger, whereby LQMT rides on another company's listing.
Maybe they are waiting for a NASDAQ listing to give them credibility. However the only way that is going to happen in the foreseeable future is something like a reverse merger. What are the chances of that?
Renewed talk on why Li absquatulated. And for that matter sold off most of the shares in his flagship Chinese company. It is called 'conflict of interest', carefully orchestrated, but is has changed nothing. He (as part of the CCP) still controls the filed votes in LQMT, the BoD, and the wooden dummy. I will say, if he has recovered the original $64M (via the State, and/or revenue from our IP), it would explain why he is not particularly enthusiastic about us.
Sounds like another pre-arranged block sale but does not indicate the price. LL has been peeling off this shares roughly in the time frame since the government started taking control. Has he been getting a premium for those shares of the company he once controlled? Like $64M worth? Don't know, but it would explain why he does not seem very concerned about the fate of LQMT.
"Life in purgatory". That is pretty optimistic, since there would still a chance for redemption. I feel better already.
