Mergers between private and public companies happen all the time. Just one example from today is $ARCA Biopharm merging with Oruka Therapeutics.
I have no idea what might happen between BeaMed and IPIX, but if they were to merge it could trigger big fireworks.
When to buy and when to sell are always important questions. Lately it looks like more buying than selling. If IPIX and BeaMed find a way to merge the two companies, and/or if there is a leadership change in IPIX, I would expect an immediate pop in the share price.
Did Ehrlich, the CEO/accountant decide not to file for IPIX because instead he's working on a possible merger? Did the two BOD who left in Feb. 2024 calculate when they would not longer be considered affiliates, and could freely sell shares they might own?
Those are among my questions.
Who would be crazy enough to sell now? Its above the 50 and 200 moving averages, not overheated on the RSI, and has been ascending slowly since early February.
Looks like accumulation is continuing, and dead stocks don't usually do that.
All the more intriguing because so far Leo has stopped filing with SEC.
Clearly the CEO knows how to file a form 15, if he's closing up the IPIX shop. And yet he hasn't done so? Bear case: CEO will disappear and never be heard from again. Bull case: something in the works with BeaMed laser boys.
From p. 20 of the last Q, filed on Nov. 20, 2023:
Recent Developments
Yep, something happening with the Laser boys seems most likely, unless Leo has a licensing contract on the table for fungi indications.
Anyone know the timeline for trading suspension if IPIX remains non-compliant with filings?

Well Well Well... closed at high of the day again. How is that even possible with no current filings, directors who left last month, and an OTC warning sign?
Now waiting for volume to increase and another (positive) shoe to drop.
Check out the dramatic drop in Short Interest month by month (below). The numbers match Finra and they can be found on this link:

Innovation Pharmaceuticals Inc. hit an upwards monthly price breakout today, on only modest volume and about $10g worth of trading. No news since the two directors left. No filings either. All very quiet except for the price rise. IPIX owns about 42% of BeaMed and the FDA has granted permission for them to market their product/device.
Not worried about IPIX bashers, bots are already taking their jobs.
BeaMed being a private company has non-disclosure advantages... right up until news drops.
Waiting for volume to come in as a signal.
This is significant... I didn't realize IPIX owns approx. 42% of the laser company, BeaMed Technologies, LTD.
BeaMed could be acquired by any number of pharmas, which would automatically give a boost to IPIX share price.
And the FDA has given BeaMed clearance to market their device:

Why would the short interest go DOWN dramatically if the company were dead?
Smells like something be cookin'
Nice to see some volume starting to come in...
Well stated Mack
Continuing to rise on higher than average volume...
What's the next news coming and when?
With all these fresh publications... one wonders what Leo's price is?
just over 500M shares in the float, right?
hmmm... It would blow many minds away if Leo got just half a Billion and this thing went to a buck.
The question was a simple one, and it can be asked in two different ways:
why LR only has negative posts on stocks he posts about?
why LR does not have positive posts on stocks in his portfolio at the same or higher frequency as his negative posts on stocks not in his portfolio?
Is supplemental income a clue?
Keep up the good work LR, its bound to pay off some day.
Been hearing similar stuff on the grapevine.
Hope the upswing continues this week, along with substantial news coming soon.
I wouldn't bother about the fungus among us. Brilacidin shows promise eradicating fungal infections.
I'm surprised we're not being treated to a daily dollar trade volume report, just to make sure everyone knows there could not possibly be anything positive in the works with the laser boys or companies interested in Brilacidin for various fungi, infections, OM, etc.
Funny how nobody has considered that both directors leaving simultaneously clears the decks, and could mean a buy-out, sale of Brilacidin, or reverse-merger is in the cards. If the company were truly dead, volume to the downside would be much higher. But that hasn't happened since the Feb 1st 8K was released.
Why is that?
And the directors are not "escaping" anything since they were on the BOD throughout the lease and court case.
So with 165 worldwide patents that include Brilacidin in combination with other drugs,
one wonders when the first shoe will drop for a combo license agreement.
Or maybe Leo has had offers for the entire compound of Brilacidin and is considering...?
The Ranger mentioned Leo is in his 60s now. How long can Leo wait to cash out?
Yes... T.T.T.
No idea what's going on, but I've learned it pays to track sudden increased volume and price.
The science for Brilacidin is certainly good enough, and the research ongoing, that a deal could be in the works.
Whether the increases in volume and price have to do with the laser company or a pharma, there's no way to tell until it gets announced.
The other thing to remember is that it can take a very long time for everything to happen all at once.
Yes, this post should be stickied because it contains links to information.
Thank you to any mods willing to stickie it
Looks like a chart ready to explode upon announcement of a deal?
Longs would love that!
9 out of the last 11 trading days show positive volume. Macd is positive. Share price is above the 50ma and touched the 200 day ma on Friday.
Being divorced from AS frees Leo up, contract wise... and,
He's gotta be getting on in age and owns a Sh-load of shares.
Can someone do the math for a rock bottom sale price of the B drug at 400 million?
TIA
Looks like the Dec. 5, 2023 8K may have been a mutually agreed upon decision with AlfaSigma. It reads:
"On December 4, 2023, the parties entered into a mutual release relating to the License Agreement and the Company waived the 60-day notice period for terminations without cause by Alfasigma."
Clean-up before next chapter unfolds?
This will hit a lot of screens over the weekend.
The "correct offer" sometimes comes when least expected. Good to see patent protection.
I see Lots of CEO bashing continues... yet Leo hasn't resorted to penny rag promo for many years, nor has he diluted past 488M as of today. It would be easier to pin the slime ball label if he did either of those, but he hasn't.
We don't know what's been discussed or negotiated after he published the payer analysis for B-OM in July.
Speculation is that Leo hasn't yet gotten an OM partnership package he could say yes to, whether BDD brokered or otherwise.
Longs are waiting for Leo to say yes to an offer in order to proceed with Ph- 3 OM.
Meanwhile, major research institutions continue to study and tout Brilacidin's potential for a wide array of pathogens. Each new paper published adds to B's potential value, and it's up to Leo to monetize that value, and get it done.
Dr. King's talk is cheap, so answers to these two questions are all that matter:
1) will King be another co-opted tool of BT and accept a bribe to delay for another 10 years?
2) Can the comment period end and the new rule take effect before Biden Admin. is over?
If that should come to pass, many will become instant multi-millionaires.
IMO, Leo will partner the OM indication and the SP will go above .50
But anything might happen given all the indications Brilacidin can address.
Mitch Zeller – former FDA CTP Director and now a private citizen who says he can now “speak more freely” about the FDA’s current focus - says that:
- The reduced nicotine (VLN) mandate is the “cornerstone of the FDA’s policies”
- The reduced nicotine (VLN) mandate is a “key piece of the puzzle” in preventing 8M annual deaths from smoking
- The FDA’s Comprehensive Plan (mandating VLN for all combustible tobacco + moving adults to ENDs products) is “more real than ever”
1% market share (per Chicagoland pilot results) = XXII is a $10 stock
Watch Mitch here:
Busy keeping info up to date... Not
Its been about 3 months since the payer analysis was released for OM.
Something cooking?
Anyone consider that Leo is remaining Pink because something is in the works?
He wouldn't need to go back to QB with BRI negotiations in progress... and I'm assuming such based upon BRI showing more and more promise all the time...
Only question, in my Opinion, is at what price Leo accepts an offer.
