ANTs Software Announces Return of Former Executive
ANTs Software, Inc. (OTC US: ANTS), a US patented, high-performance, compatibility, and virtual technologies software manufacturer, today announced it has rehired a former Executive to take the reigns of Worldwide Sales and Marketing.
"We are thrilled that Rik Sanchez, the former founder and Vice President of the profitable and successful Telecommunications, Media, and High Tech Businesses Units for ANTs Software, Inc. will return in the elevated position as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales," said Dr. F. N. Kautzmann, III Chairman, CEO and President of ANTs Software, Inc.
"My primary goal is to return ANTs to a successful and profitable company, while creating shareholder value and rebuilding our reputation. Being familiar with the patented technologies that ANTs has developed within high-performance, compatibility, and virtual technologies, under Dr. Haussmann's business and technical leadership, along with appropriate positioning and rebranding, I believe ANTs' new and advanced technologies can change the landscape of the Cloud, Security, Defense, Financial, and Retail spaces," said Sanchez.
ANTs Software, Inc. ANTs Software, Inc. (OTC US: ANTS), develops high-performance data management architectural products and solutions. The company's mission is to help customers reduce hardware, software, and development costs by providing exceptional database price/performance. Stuck in traffic...what's the news?
I feel a spreadsheet coming on...I can google doc it...if u want to contribute pm me.
We should try to reconcile all of these shares. Do u think there is enough info publicly available to sort it out?
Salesforce would be another company that could utilize ants acs. Just thinking out-loud. IMHO
When I read "initial pass" my understanding, and I may be wrong, is that they have gotten to the point where they are testing ANTS ACS (ANTs Compatibility Server, which enables customers to move software applications from one company's database product to another.)and have been able to complete step 1 of a migration which is the Initial Pass. In this pass, you create a copy of your production database. From there a compare analysis would be completed, bug fixed, etc... This is all IMO.
Overview: the value of the ANTs Compatibility Server, is that it addresses the problem where in the "value of databases does not come just in the data they contain, but also in the stored procedures and other operations that, over years, have synchronized what data bases do with what the lines of business require. Migrating the data in a database is merely hard. Recreating all the procedures of the old database on the new is much more difficult. Few businesses can afford to incur a hiatus of database functionality, so they need an intermediate step. In developing a high-performance in-memory database front-end for the real-time requirements, ANTs leverages full standards compliance with the ability to reach down into the binary code to understand not just the outcomes and relationships of database operations but also the triggers and stored procedures that provide the logical infrastructure for those operations. ANTs is using these capabilities to provide a virtualization layer between databases and the applications that feed on their data." (from ants.com)
Simply put ANTs ACS is like going to a foreign country and having a translator that is already privy to your thoughts and feelings and how you react to situations.
ie. Foreign man asks to borrow your hose, well if you were like most people you would think "garden hose" but if your day to activities were not so above-board your translator would know he wanted to borrow you ho's (LOL), and prevent any miss-understanding.
As far as my experience with software goes, well, my mom was a computer science professor, I started writing code when I was 5, she showed me how to code pc games in dos. My uncle worked for Google. So I have always been surrounded by people speaking in "code". I am by no means an expert. I do not work with databases regularly although I do oversee maintenance of our company's. I know enough and have had enough hands on experience to "read between the lines" so to speak and hypothesis.
I'm fairly proficient in C++, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, MySQL, JSON, DB2, Perl and my new favorite is R and text data mining for sentiment. I'm a huge spreadsheet fan, and write macros frequently to automate my work process. Dr. K's company, RDI is something I can relate too more. I have written scripts to pull records from our county database for upcoming foreclosure info into spreadsheets. Another script then analyses the data and puts records that match specific criteria on a new sheet. At this point another script calculates the ROI, etc... to pinpoint the best properties for investment/development. All of this is automated and runs monthly, results are automatically emailed to us.
I oversee all things computer/data related for our company. We recently moved our records database to a cloud server, and I built a QuickBooks production server. I am also a registered apple developer and have written a few apps we use in our company to automate daily paperwork (timesheets, job reports, change orders, etc...) for iOs.
I chose to go the Business Admin and Finance route in my career. My official title is CFO of a construction company. So, as much as it makes my head hurt, I am well versed in most things tax related as well as reading income statements, p&l's and balance sheets, etc...which helps with stocks to a degree.
I got into stocks because, and this sounds so lame, I like writing the scanner/filter code and the new trend in sentiment and data mining is fascinating. I was lucky to stumble onto ANTS and think there is a lot of potential here.
Well I've emailed the company and contacted transfer agent so if/when I hear back I will be sure to update.
Hopefully this is somewhat current:

Just reread top section of ihub ants board and saw:
Under the "new ants"
- Re-Architecting ANTS ACS technology, initial pass, completed.
Note initial pass is completed. That's huge.
Also it looks like Fortune 100 companies are already licensed for RDI matrix. And the NBA team sports analytics-I read about dr. K's past involvement in this area somewhere online and it was impressive.
I use my ihub app mainly so hadn't looked at the updated ants forum page in a while.
From iHub:
The New ANTS
New ANTS website under construction
ANTS shareholder Liaison for contact as part of the new website
Press and PR firms are engaged and active
Re-Architecting ANTS ACS technology, initial pass, completed.
Non-exclusive licensing of Real Data, Inc.'s MATRIX product and Automatic Valuation Model [AVM].
Home Junction, Inc., Spatial Match content data provisioning for 2,400 counties data feeds license assignment neither stock nor warrants of ANTS were involved. The delivery of this data is totally Internet based and RDI AVM enhancement under a non-exclusive license to ANTS.
RDI MATRIX product non-exclusive license assigned to ANTS. [This is an approximate string matching commercial grade product successfully licensed to several FORTUNE 100 companies.]
Significant associations and licensing using ANTS Advanced Technology and consulting internally and externally with major corporations are being pursued.
Preliminary discussions with DOD agencies regarding licensed ANTS product licensing and engagement for existing project development consulting and staffing needs
Negotiating alliances with major Ohio Universities for already funded Ph.D. interns for assignment to ANTS advanced architecture projects.
Actian/Ingres contacts, already established at the COO and SVP level by RDI, for future project development by ANTS, or if by RDI, complete revenue assignment to ANTS.
Preliminary discussions with two NBA teams in the area of Sport Analytics by RDI already existing contacts. Proprietary methodologies non-exclusively licensed to ANTS by RDI in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Automatic Neural Networks [ANN], in particular.
Found notes from 6/25/12 webinar, I had written down that there were only 68 million free trading shares at that time. That's before the buy back PR.
Emailed ants today at blog@ and info@ re o/s share info, etc... Anyone have a better email address? Also any thoughts on if Intercontinental Registrar & Transfer Agency- ants transfer agent would have current share structure info? Does anyone have email, phone or fax for TA? Thanks!
Hi y'all...took a leap and bought in today. I've been in ANTS for some time. Can't wait to see what happens here!

Agreed. Patience is key. MM's trying to shake loose hand or trigger stops IMO. I'm still holding.
Mm nite pushing this down.
I'm in!
Did some research of my own last night and will post reference links later today but I found multiple published sources dating back to 2000 and before, in which Dr. K was listed as a "Dr". Looks like he received his MBA is business admin in 1973, Dr. Kautzmann received a Ph.D. in Philosophy in 1977 and a Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1983. Dr. Kautzmann has won several refereed conferences including Best Paper Awards from the Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems Division of the Instrument Society of America at NASA - JSC. Dr. Kautzmann is a member of Sigma Xi, a Senior Member in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers [IEEE}, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics [AIAA], the Instrument Society of America [ISA], the American Mathematical Society, the American Statistical Association, The New York Academy of Science and several international mathematical societies. Dr. Kautzmann is a member of 27 national honor societies. He has also been cited in many published papers for his publishing of "A methodology for multiple rule system integration and resolutions within a singular knowledge base" http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=322920 I have no doubt he is as educated as his bio claims. The real benefit here though is that he appears to have been a hands on integral part of software development throughout his life. That real life experience IMO is worth as much as his education. Software and computer science is an ever changing field so trying to poke holes in the education he received in 1977 isn't going to weaken my hand.
Support looks to be at around 0.0299 with Resistance at 0.0453 then 0.0563
Agreed. I wish I had recorded Dr K's webinar. He discussed ironridge I believe and many of the other issues that have been posted in the last 12hrs. Does anyone else remember that?
He also stated o/s's and float. I will look for my notes, maybe someone else can repost that info as well.
Joe left him with a mess but Dr. K had/has a strong, well thought out plan to get ANTS back on track for NASDAQ, which if I recall correctly was his longterm goal.
As far as I'm concerned, he has done an amazing job and is making good on his promises. Thank you Dr. K!!
Yes agreed
Found this interesting blog post:
Posted Late 2010, (even though this is from 2010 note that companies don't upgrade their servers as one would upgrade pc's, IRS states useful life of servers as 7 years, this actually works in our favor because if IBM was integrating ANTS in 2010 and they spent 18 months doing it...well the math sure looks promising. Also, customers that may have held off on server upgrades will surely be shopping in the near future.
notice exec mentions that IBM spent 18 months INTEGRATING ANTS Software into IBM DB2 technology. IMO 18 months of IBM integration can't be an easy investment for IBM to walk away from. Obviously Kozak was not able to follow through but now that dr. K has ANTS on the straight and narrow combined with his experience in software development, and if ACS is still in play, well IMO it's nothing but good news for shareholders (the last sentence of the blog is pretty outstanding.)
***********copied from blog********
as the former (just retired in June) IBM Business Unit Exec for all Information Management Software sales for NY and NJ (and a former IBM regional tech specialist), the center of Sybase ASE installations worldwide, I can tell about 90% of the Sybase customer exec’s could not wait to get off of the Sybase ASE product. I’ll give you the stuff seems to run OK, but the savings in disk alone paid for the move and Sybase has done little over the years to improve performance or to excite their customer base. Many of the customers on Wall Street have DB2 licenses allowing for unlimited deployment. So the ROI is simple; Make the migration easy, ANTs makes it mindless; Save 60-70% of all disk usage DB2 does that no problem (In fact in a recent customer test we reduced disk by 81% – Tables, index and temp), improve performance and enhance virtualization and workload management and if you wish run HA using DB2 Purescale (Purescale is like Oracle RAC but better)but it’s not really like anything Sybase has.
What is different about ANTs technology on DB2 is that IBM has spent the better part of 18 months integrating this into their DB2 technology so that rather than sitting on the outside of the engine this stuff is integrated into the engine. The reason is simple PERFORMANCE. Because of this IBM is reselling the software. It is an IBM product with IBM support.
And just so the rest of the purists know. DB2 for over a year has supported OCI and PL/SQL, the Oracle primitives natively in DB2. In June my team ran a warehouse benchmark changing all the customer SQL to native DB2 syntax to get good performance. After that we ran it against DB2 with all the original Oracle syntax (PLSQL etc, and it ran exactly the same speed. Of course we did run far faster than the Exadata box with less than half of the Intel processors. My point in mentioning the DB2 Oracle compatability on this blog is that as you start seeing the numbers coming out on the ANTs integrated DB2 SKIN software don’t be surprised if they blow you away.
Very good points indeed!! Good job
Again, pure speculation and my opinion only, ANTS provides software that allows databases to migrate limiting errors. There are many companies that want to move/migrate databases to cloud based servers cost effectively.
There is huge demand/potential here.
***From ants website:
ANTs Sybase to DB2 DBMS Migration Service
ANTs Software Presents a Cost-Effective Way to Modernize and Migrate Databases
Reducing the complexity of multi-vendor database environments has always meant confronting the risky, expensive and very time-consuming task of application migration.
Migrating database environments with IBM® DB2® SSacSA -built on unmatched innovations in database migration technology from IBM and ANTs Software - versus the traditional methods, is accomplished with significantly less effort, time and cost.
IBM DB2 SSacSA provides customers with a cohesive solution and delivers a complete ready-to-test environment in minimal time, at a very low cost.
ANTs Software’s experience in planning and executing complex enterprise database migrations coupled with IBM’s global support helps enterprises create a lower cost, energy-efficient, and much more scalable infrastructure.
Database migration is an especially acute problem for companies still using Sybase ASE 12.5 or older platforms, as all engineering support for these platforms has ceased. ANTs’ approach is a real-world alternative to a forced migration to ASE 15.
Your options are completely open. And, the ANTs approach can also facilitate moving applications from any enterprise database to DB2.
For more information on IBM DB2 SSacSA, please visit please visit www.ibm.com/software/data/db2/linux-unix-windows/editions-features-sql-sybase.html.
Also, contact your IBM team today to schedule an evaluation that will show you how easy it is to move to and save money with DB2.
