Hope we have turned the corner. I took advantage of the drop to buy more. Check out the last 25 minutes of trading:

Its nice to see some new faces here,..especially with the depth of knowledge in the oil business that they have. I have seen them on other message boards and it is good that they are at least checking this out.
The pps has not performed like I expected it to. I made projections that have not come true with AAPH. Frankly I am beginning to question my $$ here.
But please clear things up for me. I am seeing volume near or over 1 m shares a day now but I do not consider that excessive volume for dilution.
Is the CD financing being referred to the deal with the Magna Group announced in March? If so, that obviously did not impact the run in sept which went up almost 1000% in a month.
I am unsure what to expect here now. I think the weather could be a factor. Even if not experiencing a major storm, muddy fields and cold has got to slow things down.
I have seen OTC stocks with great fundamentals turn into a big pile of !!!! because of dilution. I am not seeing that amount of volume here.
Any input appreciated.
Share price would probably jump 50% if they decided to go back to the drawing board on their logo because they sobered up and realized that the one they have looks like it was done by a first year graphic design student working for food.
News seems unlikely. Seems that less-than-cooperative weather conditions are not helping them in the field right now. Be patient.
Shakeout before move up.
vlft,..Curious. You have had good calls. How did you know last week that it was not yet time to buy?
actually the 400m is A/S, not O/S. They have far fewer O/S which at last report was about 83m.
What is a little disconcerting is that the A/S was increased from 200 to 400m. Typically if A/S is increased,..it will be used. jmho
From June 8K:
On June 24, 2013 (the "Closing Date"), American Petro-Hunter Inc., a Nevada corporation (the "Company") entered into a common stock purchase agreement dated as of the Closing Date (the "June Purchase Agreement") with Hanover Holdings I, LLC, a New York limited liability company (the "Investor"). The June Purchase Agreement provides that, upon the terms and subject to the conditions set forth therein, the Investor is committed to purchase up to $5,000,000 (the "Total Commitment") worth of the Company's common stock, $0.001 par value (the "Shares"), over the 24-month term of the June Purchase Agreement.
Now this I suspect may be some cause for increase in O/S:
The Company is prohibited from issuing a Draw Down Notice if (i) the amount requested in such Draw Down Notice exceeds the Maximum Draw Down Amount, (ii) the sale of Shares pursuant to such Draw Down Notice would cause the Company to issue or sell or the Investor to acquire or purchase an aggregate dollar value of Shares that would exceed the Total Commitment, or (iii) the sale of Shares pursuant to the Draw Down Notice would cause the Company to sell or the Investor to purchase an aggregate number of shares of the Company's common stock which would result in beneficial ownership by the Investor of more than 4.99% of the Company's common stock
The possibility of dilutive action could put additional pressure on the share price near term.
If he sold AAPH to buy CBIS he made a mistake. He sold low to buy high.
Exactly,..what gives? eom
I'm not done making pps predictions,...mine is .024 at next friday's close.
January. Buy now.eom

I don't think AAPH is making it up.
Also, The recent past jumps have not correlated with news release. If you look at September movement there was no news to account for that. October move was a technical bounce with news coming after the move. Price movement seems to most often precede news release here. If you wait for news you will miss much of the advance.
I am here because it still strikes me as a very strong play ( although moves over last 2 trading days were not what I would like to see. )
Still, I think now is a time to get in as it will be difficult to get a better price and Jan will be the month.
Maybe. I hope you are right, but, I don't think so. I would expect pressure on it until almost EOY, but I still think it will be close to .03 by EOY and big move in Jan. I do think we have a lot of support at this level though.
I expect there to be pressure because it is sitting much closer to 52 week lows than highs. There will be some tax loss selling along with shortened holiday weeks. ( Next week is the last full week of trading in 2013. )
I would not expect news or if there is news not to have much response to it. ( Consider news past mon.)
Last week of year will be less pressure and more likely to have significant upward mobility.

I'm sorry if there some controversy over my earlier post. I feel that I was within the guidelines of the board.
I feel that is was reasonable to a mention a specific stock in that case because the assertions were backed by facts,... but I did not intend to pick on a particular stock.
I think my theory is relatively sound and you might test it for yourself by researching any of a variety of OTC stocks that have experienced meteoric runs and fast pullbacks over the past few months. It doesn't even have to be one posting alias, since names change faster and easier on these boards than in a border-town brothel. Besides, there are probably 100s of different posters with thousands of different aliases stalking these forums.
To avoid any confrontation I wont make any examples. Look them up for yourself. Then correlate the timing of the moves with the number and increasing frequency and location of posts by various posters. I believe that you will see a trend.
Keep it real,..thats all I'm saying. right now it cant even hold .02. Any rational investor or trader is going to see that.
What makes ( cents ) is to to see it hit .10 before predicting 1.00,.... and 1.00 before implying 10.00
Appreciate your posts malc and I can tell by them that you are a knowledgeable and decent guy.
Isn't the basic tenet of stock trading to buy low and sell high?
So as long as you are not setting up pitfalls through hype or questionable filings or whatever tawdry means,...what does it matter whichever signs that you use as a basis to enter or exit a position?
Some use technicals others fundamentals or maybe contra-indicators. They are all tools that I think a successful trader can use and still maintain personal and moral integrity.
Its a game. Just don't cheat.
Pumpers are an interesting group,..and IHUB is swarming with them. I am still trying to understand how the whole system works so I appreciate the enlightenment here.
In a way,..I think an indication of increased pumping on a stock is a good indication of impending price movement that may be a more accurate barometer than company prs or financials. Its all about timing and knowing when to get in and out. It would be nice to be able to buy and hold but the likelihood of impressive gains does not match the potential of highly-touted POS. So is that an immoral approach to investing? I don't think it is, if you are just the rider and not the beast.
I marked the posts of someone I considered a serious pumper of SCRC. His posts began in some earnest in early 6/2013 then increased in frequency to a point of hundreds of posts on only SCRC message board. The pps of SCRC ran from high teens to about $1. in mid july. The last post from the poster was on 7/22,..still touting the stock which closed today at .15
If you had listened to him in june and stopped listening to him in early july you might have made a fortune. So selective listening is a key.
No posts at all from this alias since then. Was he eaten by a crocodile? WAs he just sucked off the face of the earth during some sort of gravity mishap?
There are plenty of similar OTC issues out there.
I think pumpers fulfill a basic service in this mad max world of internet investing that we find ourselves in,.... much like scavenger buzzards perform a necessary function in nature. I think the key is in being able to spot them, not trust them but use them as they would use you,.. almost,.. to spot
a possible opportunity for a wild ride.
I'm still just trying to figure it all out.
Tomorrow, tomorrow,...theres always tomorrow. Its always a day away.
Thats why.
I think todays price action was healthy. Frankly, it is behaving as I hope it will. A steady climb without the rocket pop,...right now. Rockets fizzle quickly,..hopefully this will have more legs to reach new highs.
Just based on trader psychology,...look at how it fell from its lofty gain just a few weeks ago. There will be traders who saw their investment drop who will be anxious to get out at a certain target price under .07. That is why we have support and resistance levels.
Right now I stand by my earlier projection,..a steady climb ( with pull backs ) to EOY pps .03+ and then fireworks in January.
From 10q:
As of November 11, 2013, we have six producing wells in Oklahoma. We also have ownership of 1,410.7 net acres and rights for the exploration and production of oil and gas on an aggregate of approximately 4,733.8 gross acres in Oklahoma. This includes rights to explore on 1,847 gross acres in Oklahoma in the North Oklahoma Mississippi Project and in 2,886 gross acres in south-central Oklahoma (the "South Oklahoma Project"). We also have rights to develop 15,000 gross acres, 12,000 net acres in Kansas. In 2012, oil sales from our producing wells averaged 13.1 cumulative barrels per day.
On May 16, 2011, we announced that drilling operations had commenced at the Company's first horizontal well, NOM1H. The Company owns a 25% Working Interest in the lease. On June 29, 2011, we announced that NOM1H had begun commercial production. The well produced 5,199 barrels in 2012 at a rate of 14.2 barrels per day. The well is currently producing currently six barrels per day and 30 Mcf gas and has cumulatively produced 12,922 barrels of oil to October 30th, 2013.
On February 6, 2012, we announced that we had drilled a total of 1,988 feet in the horizontal well segment penetrating into the 100 plus foot thick Mississippi pay zone. The NOM3H began commercial oil and gas production on March 7, 2012. The average daily rate of production during 2013 has been in the 10-20 barrels of oil per day range, and the well is currently producing 8 barrels per day with daily gas production in the 60 Mcf/day range. The well has cumulatively produced 11,131 barrels of oil to October 30th, 2013.'
'On April 2, 2012, we announced the spud of the first well on the South Oklahoma Project, designated SOM-1H. On July 10, 2012, the well began commercial production. As of March 1, 2013, the well had cumulatively produced 5,696 barrels of oil, with 4,618 barrels for the 2012 calendar year, and sales beginning in July 2012 at an average daily rate of 25.4 barrels per day. Current production has cumulatively produced 9,111 barrels of oil through October 30, 2013, at a daily rate of 13 barrels per day. Daily gas production is in the 35 Mcf/day range.
CM appreciate all your posts here, really, and I believe that it is solid play as well. But,..its not fact,.... yet. You saw how quickly it dropped from .07. It can happen again.
Even the strongest plays, take AAPL for instance, can be a bad investment.
That said,.. I am more invested in AAPH right now than a prudent investor should be as % of capital,...... I have high hopes as well. Keeping it real seems wisest course.
That '3's was a typo. I did not hit shift button fast enough to print # on top of 3 key. Sorry for error.
I do not have strong enough evidence to post. True float is very difficult to ascertain and AAPH has new Transfer Agent that is less transparent than previous. So just for my own judgement, I am accepting that # as having some credibility, especially when you consider with over 6m shares traded on fri we were only up 50%.
Don't get me wrong, I am invested deep in AAPH,..but I think the run will be more organic if there is less pumping and more acknowledgement of 3s closer to reality.
But I do not have a strong source to post that 71 mil as fact.
I'm all about AAPH but lets keep it real,......the float may be around 71m.
TDA and recent 10q have it at about 83m.
Houston, we have Lift Off!
I first bought AAPH in early summer and sold all into late Sept. run. I have been accumulating again over the past few weeks and saw Monday as a gift.
imo, I believe it will have a massive run in january but pps will be at least twice what it is now by EOY.
That is my prediction.
jmho,...I think there will be late afternoon run into close.
If everyone can just hold tight with strong hands,...this will go over.02 today. Excellent volume for this time of day.

Truth is not black or white. It is shades of gray that changes as our point of reference changes,..so looking for and expecting truth in the financial markets is not necessarily a fruitful endeavor. We are here to make money, not seek the truth.
We expect to play on a level playing field though,...that's a nostalgic thought and it would be great if there were an SEC with teeth that could make that happen. Not likely.
There are great posters here who are well skilled at reading financial reports and making decisions based on them. I am not so good at that yet. Its a skill I am working to develop. Sill, so much can be hidden in filings and even some of the strongest companies with the strictest fiduciary practices may not be good investments while those with the sloppiest or outright corrupt accounting can be very lucrative. I speak from experience.
IMO, the truth to pursue is within ourselves. To be like a surfer reading the waves, skillful enough to control himself, knowing that he cannot control the wave.

...And don't forget,...Hell freezing over.
Great board malc. Thanx for starting it.
Here are 2 tickers that I think are fair game to mention because of the recent sleaziness and questionable legal maneuverings of their directors. FU, and NEWL. Neither are OTC, FU is currently halted. NEWL about to do a second reverse split in less than 3 months.
Its difficult to rationalize any of the market as more than an elaborate arena of legalized con games.
NASDAQ and Big Board are really no different than OTC.
I loaded up last week.
Like this from the 8K filed 10/3:
On September 28, 2013, American Petro-Hunter Inc. (the "Company") approved the issuance of 4,101,844 shares of common stock of the Company (the "Shares") to Robert B. McIntosh, the Company's sole officer and director, in consideration for the cancellation of an aggregate of approximately $81,626 in indebtedness owed by the Company to Mr. McIntosh, based upon the closing price of $0.0199 per share of the Company's common stock.
He paid more for his shares than I did. I know he wants and expects to see pps go north.
I am watching. I don't think it is close to bottom. I think it has another 50% to go yet . jmho
Don't blame you for what is happening here. I have gotten into enough stocks that looked like a reasonable risk at the time only to do more research and decide it was a mistake. I have made many quick exits.
INVA has been on my watch list for a little while so I had been waiting for a shake-out and took a small position,..... but I certainly did not like the late afternoon action today. It don't smell right.
This may be another of my quick exits. We will see what tomorrow brings.
now down to .0063 on 6m shares. Some BS games going on here.
