Liquid metal is two and a half times stronger than titanium!
Titanium use is up over 74,000% since 1948.(223,000 tons in 2011)
"We view ourselves as the next generation of material Science."
Liquid metal is a disruptive technology in the process of
commercializing. What makes it unique is its ability to be
processed like plastics. We can design the part from the
ground up. The parts can be smaller thinner and still
stronger. The parts come out of the mold ready to use. The
injection molding machines are much smaller than the C.N.C.
machines, using a lot less electricity, They do no cutting,
like the CNC machines. This means better parts that are:
stronger, more corrosive resistant, made faster, (two
minute cycles) and less expensive. Hmmmmm
Titanium use 1948---3 tons
Titanium use 1956---25000 tons
Titanium use 2011---223000 tons
Now, there is a titanium alloy 2 and one half times
stronger! (Duh?) Is there any room for growth?
The potential for growth is exponential.
"Superior elasticity and high yield strength more than twice
that of titanium alloys. NASA
1.) Injecting LQMT into a mold and mass producing it like
plastics.
2.) Every two minutes a part comes off. (not once an hour)
3.) The part comes off with the precision of a CNC machine
4.) Contracts are hard to get but can last 10-20 years
5.) After the initial cost of the mold, the cost of the part
is cheaper
6.) LQMT bills are paid
7.) PPS is down from 15.00 to .13-.14 cents a share
8.) 50 patents with LQMT plus 20-25 more w/Apple
9.) Military contracts are underway
10.) Deep Sea Drilling
11.) Automotive Contracts
12.) Aerospace
13.) Medical
14.) Dental
15.) Sporting Goods
16.) Swatch
17.) NASA
18.) Wearable Electronics
19.) Apple Contract til Feb 2014
20.) Robot Skin
21.) Plus, theres a lot we don't know
Apple will renew their contract. Apple will BUY lqmt. Who Knows?
Liquid metal is the first major breakthrough In materials technology since the development of thermo plastics.
The material properties and characteristics of liquid metal alloys make them highly beneficial for numerous space, air, land, and sea Military applications.

Do you think Apple would want a bigger piece of the pie?
Google Gizmodo explains: What is Liquid metal?
Lets see, 100,000 shares sold at .14 then bought back at .13
Wow! that's 1000 bucks profit. NO WONDER THERES SHORTERS.
hows it a great post if you don't know what it means?

These are some applications for lqmt.
Apple doesn't need revenues from lqmt. Neither does the U.S. government. NASA ..or the Dept. of defense. (I might be wrong.)
Yeah, that's true, the government really cares about how they
spend every dime. That's why we owe China 1.3 Trillion.

My uneducated guess would be: Apple has their hands deeply
in this cookie jar. The potential is staggering. The Dept.
of defense, the military, NASA, (We need new space shuttles.)
I wonder, if all the bolts, screws, rivets, washers, clamps,
in aircraft, UAV's,tanks bulldozers, mining equipment, rockets,
shipping, submarines, space station, jet engines, autos, ect. ect.
would be better off with an alloy that's more than twice as
strong? I'm not sure.)
I understand that. There might be more going on than we think.
A little history on titanium use: 1948- 3 tons worldwide
1956-25,000 tons
2011-223,000 tons
What if liquid metals titanium alloy was more than 2 times
as strong? What are the implications? Who would not want
this new titanium alloy?
Everyone all checked in, for the big dump? We can all get more shares. Who would ever know. We are so clever!
Pokerlover, you may be right.

Dept. of Defense, huge, NASA huge, Aerospace, huge, Google: Boeings 27 billion titanium, tech deals with.. .
Just a couple more reasons to think lqmt has some potential. (1) Energy fields that do drilling need a harder bit. (Gas, Coal, Natural Gas, Oil ect.) (2.) If they can waterproof watches; why not clocks, radios, Gps, phones, military radios, flashlights, walkie talkies, boat radios, lifeboat containers, camping containers for matches, What can't get wet in a car? (3.) How many things could be made of this? Guns, ammo, knives, coins, jewelry, (nuts and bolts, rivets, washers, for the aerospace industry.) props for boats, tools, rings, necklaces, belt buckles,How would you make a waterproof lantern? (4.)Rumors: I- watch, I-phone, I- ring. (5.) Not one to blab on about how much I know (cuz I don't know)My guess would be that the best thing we have going for us is the apple r&d and the possible exposure this co. could get. (6.) The sheeting process is to much for me to wrap my head around, But I think it is a big deal. The military built the SR-71 50 years ago with an 85% titanium structure. Would they do it again with titanium twice as strong? Is air superiority for this country a big deal?
Reasons to be in lqmt (1)strength hardness elasticity and anti corrosive properties (2 and a half times as strong as titanium.)(2)bills are paid (3)price is down from 15.00 to .135 cents. (4)Apple contract til Feb 2014 (5)Swatch contract (6)NASA used lqmt and it could be used for satellites, space travel, aircraft structures, sporting goods. (7) Military applications (the sr-71 flew in 1976 Its structure was 85% titanium It established a speed record of mach 3.5 in 1976! Now we have a titanium alloy that's over twice as strong. (8) Over 25 prototypes sent out to customers. (9) When getting a customer they could be long term meaning 10-20 years. (10) Parts are produced like plastics w/ injection moulding (11) Parts get cheaper after initial investment of paying for the mould. (12) Parts come out with the precision of a cnc machine. (13) A new part comes out every two minutes instead of once every hour. (14) Medical applications. (15)dental contracts. (16) Marine (boating) applications because of the anti-corrosive properties. (17) Automotive industry contracts. (18)Lqmt has 50 patents and 20-25 w/Apple. (19) Visser, Materion, Engel. (20) Lqmt is the 1st major breakthrough in materials technology since the development of thermo plastics. (21) It has a polished finish. . .
excellent post! If the Boeing 787 Dreamliners structure is 15% titanium and ( lqmt is 2 and one half times stronger ) could there be any potential there? Would Lockheed or Airbus be interested in strengthening their aircraft? Would it be advantageous for all aircraft to have some elasticity in their wings, landing gear,is it possible to have a lqmt skin applied ? They used 85% titanium on the SR-71. Back into the box,. .How bout that chess game and golf clubs? What about Nuclear submarines The Russians are making titanium hulls on their subs. . .
Now he'll be trowelling out more of his putrid sludge, with even more dreck dross and droll! ( There can't be a negative without a positve. ) something goods coming...
I agree, and don't think Apple is a loquacious company that likes to bloviate.
Applelqmt does make something, it makes a product thats TWO AND A HALF times stronger than titanium! The S.R.-71's skin was 85% titanium. Titanium is a multi-billion dolar business today. Rocket casings, Nuclear submarines, aircraft wing structures, landing gear components, naval ships, armor plating, spacecraft and missles, springs and hyraulic tubing, armor plating, bicycle frames, wheelchairs, chemical processing, oil and gas fields, power generation, pulp and paper industries, propeller shafts, hydro mettalurgical, shovels flashlights, ships rigging, prostetics, hip and ball joint replacements, guns, crutches, money clips, and Ferrari hubcaps, horseshoes dental implants, Did I say I-phones and watches? Cookware and eating utensils, medical applications, military applications, automotive applications, Lqmt has 25plus prototypes already sent out to its (possible contractors) Lqmt has the potential to be produced like plastics, and last I heard they were in associated with Apple. Lqmt seems like it would need a bigger production of its super alloy. Thats the most typing I ever did. Which of the products named wouldn't be better if they were harder, stronger, more elastic, or maybe lighter?
a
Let's it dis potty stott'd!?@$$
Agreed leave them alone. Could apple have lqmt in the upcoming phones ? Google lqmt vs. apple anodized aluminum. The tests are lame but I think you'll believe . Make sure you check out when the video was made.
Now I see why it takes so long for aerospace to get back to lqmt. (Google Boeing fatigue test.) You tube video.
Thanks Sandy, Do you think Apple could still surprise everyone by having lqmt in one of their products in Sept?
Thanks Sandy, Could Apple surprise us with lqmt in one of their products in September? That would be nice!
T
Preesheeate it.
One of the many things I don't understand is------ How long would it take an aerospace industry (or company) to examine this new metal alloy? I read somewhere a one inch bar of titanium can lift (x) amount of pounds. . .When compared to a one inch bar of lqmt the lqmt can pick up at least 50 % more. Once the strength was verified, and the hardness, and the elasticity lqmt would be in. Maybe years of testing are required ? Seems like all aircraft would want stronger frames. I've already read where a scientist said we'd have car frames of titanium if we could figure out how to mine it cheaper.
Its a possibility. The Boeing 787 is composed of 50% composites, 20% aluminum, 15% titanium, 10% steel, & 5% other. Isn't lqmt stronger, harder, and more elastic? Seems like the aerospace industry would jump on this improved titanium. "If its not Boeing, I'm not going."
Is it beauties in the eye of the holder, or "The Shorter?'
Titanium was dicovered in 1791? One of the first aicraft it was used on was the SR-71. Now the aero space industry uses 50% of the titanium. ( Boeing and Airbus.) Titanium has surpassed 70,000 tons per year for the last four years (total)for: armor plating, Naval ships, aircraft wing structures, landing gear components, springs, hydraulic tubing, exhaust ducts, missles, The Soviets are developing a submarine with a hull of titanium. Its being used in bicycle frames, backpackers cookware, eating utensils, horseshoes laptop comPuters, shovels fashlights, dental implants, wheelchairs, crutches, propeller shafts, money clips, ships rigging, prosthetics, hip and ball joint replacements nuts and bolts, guns, oil and gas fields, power generation, pulp/paper industries, hydro metallurgical and others.. Liquid Metal is superior to titanium? pps. GOING UP?
I try to look at this objectively.....a 413 billion dollar company, that pulled us out of the gutter once. VS. a 59 million dollar company... Where does the power lie?
my guess, (speculation only) is we sell what Apple wants to sell at first. Apple could announce more than one product at once. That way, Apple and lqmt are somewhat synonymous for the launch. When we "put our big boy pants on" we start fending for our selves. Where could any company get that kind of advertising!?
Agreed, dilution is not the solution. But don't you think they'd be setting this lqmt launch up for Christmas?
Please don't blow my cover!
170K is enough for me.
This thing is never gonna go anywhere! thnks 4 the 666xplan. Ok, theres my bashing for September. (now I'm even) Its nice to be balanced. Long and patient.
