Wrong again - SunWorks closed at or above $2.77 eight days between April 22nd-May 8th 2016.
Here is the factual link: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=SUNW+Historical+Prices
I'm looking forward to additional acquisitions. Growing organically within existing or adjacent markets is great - but I think any respect we are lacking - is due our current regional footprint.
As soon as we are perceived as being "National" then we will start getting the exposure and respect that we deserve . . .
Here's a bonus article: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/world-s-largest-storage-battery-will-power-los-angeles/?ref=yfp
World's Largest Storage Battery Will Power Los Angeles
More than 18,000 lithium ion battery packs would replace a gas-fired power plant used to meet peak demand

Strategic Initiatives - I caught that too - my best guess is subcontractor to SunPower. Like on military installs (e.g., Alabama). Complete conjecture . . .
That's good news - for a moment - I thought perhaps the jig is up hahaha
I thought the previous reply was spot-on:
But I don't understand - Jim lives in Santa Barbara - how could he be at the RiverCats game in Sacramento? Is that even possible . . .
Overdue diligence is worse than Hopium . . . IMO
Thanks - many ways to interpret that tidbit based upon this description:
http://brileyco.com/our_firm/
Nice - thanks for sharing - getting good coverage. I would love to see how that map will look in 5-years!
With my emphasis . . .
Thanks - good summary of just some of the recent, very positive developments with Sunworks (and their Solar3D division)!
The patent news is VERY BIG NEWS for many of us longs. Manufacturers likely were hesitant to align with the technology until the patent hurdle was cleared.
Sunworks plan is to license the solar cell technology, as opposed to directly manufacturing panels, with it themselves. Manufacturers would be wise to wait until they can be assured that they are working with the owner of the intellectual property. The patent approval should help immensely.
Fresno Contract - read the facts:

And the only link that ever matters . . . is the weakest link in the chain.
I'm expecting a PR soon promoting the sales resulting from the Sunworks Solar Design Center
I think it is Sunworx Solar in South Africa

This is kind of weird - from 2009 - found by searching for sunworks medford Oregon:
Also, here is an excerpt from the 2015-Q4 conference call transcript:
Jim Nelson:
Yes - the racking system purchase was discussed around the time of the Elite Solar acquisition. I don't recall whether or not a PR specifically referenced the racking system prior to the closing. However, the racking system was mentioned during at least one of the recent conference calls . . .
There were references to "Universal Racking Solutions" in this SEC filing (12-02-15) that some of us caught:
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1172631/000118518516003651/solar3d8ka020516.htm
Here is the main body of the letter announcing the Elite acquisition (didn't see any references to the rack after a quick scan):
I haven't clicked on all of the links individually but happened to notice this testimonial ( http://solarbuildermag.com/featured/creotecc-clampless-mounting/ ):
I didn't see any distinction between racking solutions for ground-mount versus residential.
Supposedly, the original product is for ground-mount and they are working to adapt it for residential solutions as well. Let's see that clarified guys!
Those links are to opinion pieces - he's looking for factual SEC site links (e.g., EDGAR)
The latest Sunworks 10-Q can be found here:
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1172631/000149315216009608/form10-q.htm
Plus, Jim also is looking at operational cost cutting measures - saving $400k per zero-based budgeting as discussed on the Q1 conference call.
Q2 and the rest of the year should be amazing!
There also were a lot of one-time expenses in Q1 which resulted in the small loss - including but not limited to:
* Corporate re-branding and stock symbol change
* Solar Design Center build-out
* Opening of new offices
* Development of proprietary racking solution for residential market
* Development of software and procedureal advancements to reduce Residential Install Time by 50% With Software and Procedural Advancements
They took the long view and scaled the company for the anticipated $100 million plus revenue anticipated for this year. imo
Here are some definitions from a legitimate source:
What is an 'Accretive Acquisition'
An accretive acquisition is an acquisition that will increase the acquiring company's earnings per share (EPS). These acquisitions tend to be favorable for the company's market price because the price paid by the acquiring firm is lower than the boost the new acquisition will provide to the acquiring company's EPS.

What is a 'Dilutive Acquisition'
A dilutive acquisition is a takeover transaction that will decrease the acquirer's earnings per share (EPS) if additional shares are issued to pay for the acquisition. Dilutive acquisitions decrease shareholder value and should thus be avoided, unless the strategic value of the acquisition is expected to cause a sufficient increase in EPS in later years. An acquisition is only a good deal if the acquirer can derive more value from the acquisition than it pays out.

These are the two guys who said that Jim Nelson didn't own any shares . . . HaHaHa
This link on the NASDAQ site looks like it was updated recently with EPS and P/E information:
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/sunw
P/E Ratio: 23.33
Forward P/E(1y): 14.71
Earnings Per Share (EPS): $0.09
Yes - this is so true . .
I was going to mention this again as well:
Well, at least it will help offset wages for any days where they have to pay the crew half-wages (e.g., rain days where they did not provide advanced notice).
Hayden what?
It's been proven repeatedly that Jim Nelson owns a lot of shares and options. Do not believe the lies to the contrary.
It's not like Jim doesn't own any shares or options in SUNW :

Hi everybody - I just found this really cool link with lot's of green:
http://ih.advfn.com/stock-market/NASDAQ/sunworks-inc-SUNW/trades
It looks pretty good. IMO The strange thing is though that the PPS is the same even though the link has all of the green. I'm sorry but maybe it isn't such a good link after all . . .
LOL - glad you were able to roll with that one . . .
I'm hoping too - it's been a tough year - but the company really is setting itself up for a good run. IMO
I'm still way green overall but also bought some shares in the $5.75 range, and to be honest, put in some money I couldn't afford to have tied up.
Yet, overall - I believe this still is a very good long-term hold (and strong acquire at today's price). GLTY
And don't forget - per a recent Smart Energy radio program - Sunworks now is the National Sales Leader for SunPower panels for residential and commercial combined.
Of course - a 3D solar cell also could help make SunPower more efficient - haha - here come the haters . . .
