The letter to shareholders also included the fact sheet seen in the recently filed 8-k:

P.S. GrowthStockInvestor - no idea on the patent timeline . . .
Here is the link to the U.S. Patent Application Information Retrieval site where the current status of Solar3D's patent submission can be obtained:
1.) http://portal.uspto.gov/pair/PublicPair
2.) Provide the requested "Captcha" code (to prove that your human and to prevent bots from gathering up all the patent details)
3.) Select "Application Number" and enter: 14380355
Status: Docketed New Case - Ready for Examination
Status Date: 02-19-2015
Please note that this is for the U.S. patent submission only . . .
The January 15th update, under the Nationalization Phase tab, is where the patents subsequently were published in specific countries. The U.S. patent was published on that day, if I recall correctly, and currently is assigned to an examiner and waiting review.
If you are talking about the "15.03.2015 International Application Status Report" then that gets generated with the current date every time you hit the site.
The server is in Europe so that is why the date changes several hours ahead of EST . . .
I can post that on Yahoo for you as well if you still don't understand

Wow - we just turned green!
Yes - it was discussed - and in fact, the video was from someone on this board who said he would go to the ceremony and let us know what it was about.
He ended up providing the video so we could see for ourselves . . .
There were a lot of us at the time hoping that they would announce a pilot program for the new cell/panels, etc.
LOL - I had no idea what you were talking about until I actually (independently) went to get my mail.
Hardcopy shareholder's letter from Solar3D! It is the same information we have seen electronically but nice to see without LED backlighting for a change . . .
I'm assuming that is what you were talking about anyway
For what it's worth, I think they are going to hold-off longer before releasing the 10-K. Otherwise, they wouldn't have released the 8-K yesterday.
It seems like they wanted to get the information included in the 8-K out there as quickly as possible to set a baseline defining past performance. Then, when the 10-K is released, in a week or two, there will be some familiarity already established with the company for which to compare the 2014 full-year results.
ALL-IMO . . .
It couldn't be much clearer that Jim was talking about Electrical licenses and not Tiger Electric
Question: "Did Solar3D also acquire the rights to Tiger Electric, or did MD just happen to have Electrical licenses?"
Answer: "MDE had them"
What do you think buckylaw?
That would be phenomenal if Tiger Electric was included in the MD Energy deal. Frankly, it wasn't clear exactly what MD Energy is without Tiger. Obviously, Danny was a great pickup in the deal . . .
There aren't a lot of clues in the MD Energy or Tiger Electric websites yet, however, MD did update their site to indicate they are a division of Solar3D:
http://mdenergyinc.com/
Yes - that financing comparison between Solar3D and competitors is nice.
Here is the source document (new SLTD Fact Sheet posted on www.solar3d.com):

We not only invested in the cell but in Jim Nelson as well . . .
Thanks - no problem - sorry I didn't follow along . . . Juggling a lot at work.
Unfortunately, a name change away from Solar3D potentially could signify that the company is moving to an all installation model (IMO).
So, I'm fine with "Solar3D" for the time being
Thanks - didn't notice the date - I guess the news following that was that the 3rd and final "working" prototype was completed and that they will be seeking manufacturing partners . . .
I don't understand the point of posting that email now
I like the statement, "As we said in the last release, news coming soon."
I'm an SLTD junkie but don't know offhand which release or which news? Anybody have any ideas?
Wow - that's the equivalent of 20 million shares volume, so far today, at the pre-split share count . . .
Well, you do tend to come back from your doubts with more enthusiasm and conviction . . .
I'm thrilled with where the company is right now - much better than just two weeks ago (despite the haircut).
It won't be long and that $8.88 intra-day high will be a new support level
Just in my bullish opinion
And does he know that you called him a douche bag last week . . . Probably not
Congratulations! You should be pretty happy with your decision by the end of next week (IMO)
A condition of the uplisting to NASDAQ evidently was a secondary offering to raise $12.5 million to increase shareholder's equity. The offering included warrants which made the common shares less attractive by comparison . . .
The company is better off than it was 2-weeks ago. We have closed the MD Energy acquisition, have uplisted to NASDAQ, and now have roughly $12M for future acquisitions.
This is a great entry point!
All IMO - GLTA Longs . . . Long SLTD
Carl - thank you for your posts today - calm during the storm!
Thank you - awesome interview - hang in there everyone. It's always darkest before the dawn (at which time our cell will generate more power . . . )
I would like to offer special thanks to the following, primarily for their Accounting and general finance knowledge, who reinforced that there were solid fundamentals behind this shooting-star of a company:
Accounting101, and then SCJCPA who showed up just when we needed it, and lately Maverick with some solid financial insights.
Following this stock is like earning a Master's in Investment Vehicles, High Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and general World-Classiness. And, of course, we have our Professor - Jim Nelson - to thank for that knowledge!
Bucky - wow - talk about a bulldog for minutia! Bucky uncovered all sorts of things regarding the patent submissions, contract language, L2, why the ratio was 1-for-26, you name it . . .
Chinkwia - the board's bouncer - who was so good at it that he bounced himself (we know where to find him if you are interested just drop us a line).
All of the boards moderators who also are some of the companies longest longs. Way to keep the order and keep the site looking nice. There is one heck of an update needed to the Intro section of this site following today's news.
And last but not least - Mooon! He could put a positive spin on anything! If news sounded too good to be true - he would tell you that it was good and it was true - and he was right Imagine how many people held on to their shares because of his efforts to educate the masses and correct misinformation on this board.
There are so many more people who deserve thanks and praise but I hear that music playing, and it's getting louder, and I think I see Kanye heading this way . . .
Good luck to all longs! Just in my bullish opinion (J.i.m.b.o.)
Other OTC? That's a bit odd - wonder if that will change tomorrow as well
We have more posts than followers today on this board for the day!
Can't remember that happening before . . .
Today's financial numbers were preliminary and it appears that the 10-K (Annual report) still is anticipated to be completed on or prior to March 31st.
We can't look that up by symbol yet but here is some information, from the NASDAQ site, for symbols which do allow pre-session and after-hours trading:
Also, we can look forward to being able to place market orders since it won't be OTC.
For some of us, Scottrade was going to take a good cut (extra half-percent) on sell orders - when it was sub-dollar as well - which no longer is a worry.
Better than "STD" . . .
I wouldn't want to speculate on the exact timing, but believe that Pilot's original question was whether the up-listing could be finalized while we still are under the temporary SLTDD stock symbol.
IMO - the reply more than answered that question by essentially stating that some take days, some take months, but it is possible for Solar3D's to be completed within that 20-day duration.
Depending upon when the actual process began with the senior exchange it potentially could be completed later in this week, however, you have a good point about the share availability. Hopefully, that will all be sorted out in the next day or two . . .
If up-listing is imminent then we may not see any news until that has been completed. If the process is bogged down a little and is looking like it may take weeks then we probably will get some news in the interim.
All IMO of course
If you (or anyone else) hasn't seen RV-8 Pilot's post from yesterday - detailing his correspondence with Andrew (from Investor Relations) - you need to check it out.
There is a lot of good information including the answer to your question:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=111280696
Here is a hidden gem:
Thank you for sharing that correspondence! There is a lot of information packed into those words.
It appears to have been a very quick turnaround considering you sent the questions to Jim an hour ago and Andrew already replied?!
I predict there will be a lot of replies to this post . . .
Thanks again!
Good post - but I'm not sure why you replied to my post - which was about waiting for pre-split shares to appear in our Scottrade accounts . . .
I actually made a similar argument about the cell partner news near the end of December (that the objective didn't state that the partner would be announced publicly by December).
I am a little disappointed by the lack of communication lately but Jim also addressed that in his Christmas letter and it clearly will be worth the wait so long as good things really are playing out behind the scenes.
Just in my bullish opinion. GLTAL
Edit: Dug this up - http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=109182212
I think that the exactly identical wording of the two responses received proves conclusively that Scottrade does in fact have computers . . .
I use them too - waiting . . .
Nothing seems new there - probably just more updates associated with the temporary stock symbol switch from "SLTD" to "SLTDD"
Yeah - that "V" shape in the daily chart so far today gives me an idea.
It looks like it would be a good way of collecting light in a solar cell - or better yet - a good way to collect money!
