Sprech - I can confirm based on my recollection of company PRs issued last year around this time.
I'm out currently but the Solar3d site should have the PRs on the news page.
Nice story & thanks a lot for toning down the - um - dirty parts!
Terrific counter-post - thanks Sprech!
This article touches on the subject of valuation of solar stocks in relation to oil stocks.
It's mostly about SunEdison but includes Jim Cramer's take:
BTW - good anticipation - today's PR probably was being typed when you posted about "records" yesterday . . .
I agree that the Q1 numbers will "pop" because of the absence of derivative liability.
What I'm also wondering is whether the EPS will show as positive on the financial sites, soon after the 10-Q is released, or whether we'll have to wait for a full-year of positive earnings.
New investors seeing a positive EPS will be quicker to jump onboard - IMO
May 15th - 45-days after EOQ . . .
4.15 million for mod?
$6.2 million - first number that popped into my head back after the first guess
Wow - are you really pointing to the SUNWorks acquisition and trying to make it seem like a negative?
That's like criticizing the Rams, for picking up Kurt Warner, after they won the Super Bowl with him at quarterback . . .
Hamilton Solar made my list too (less than 30-minutes total DD though):
http://solar3d.lefora.com/sreply/972/Solar3d-discussion
http://www.solarpowerworldonline.com/top-250-solar-contractors/ You can sort by State . . . I don't know any of these companies (except for SUNworks) - here are a few I picked out more-or-less randomly after poking around that site for 10-minutes or so. There are some very old companies with over a thousand employees listed on that site. They probably do a whole lot more than just solar
Reno, NV Hamilton Solar http://hamiltonsolarnevada.com/

Virtually all of the funds will be used for additional acquisitions but he didn't say that the acquisitions all will be paid for in cash. However, Jim will put that money to good use - long SLTD . . .
If you plan to exercise the warrants within the next five years you will need to pay the $4.15 pps to actually do so (plus any brokerage fees). Otherwise, you could flip them as the price increases but the liquidity likely will be lower than common shares . . . ALLIMO
You could say that he has a particular set of skills . . . which is why I believe he was identified and brought on board in the first place. IMO
I agree - an announcement before May 15th - with the high-level acquisition terms and additional due-diligence required (just like was done with SUNWorks and MD Energy).
Excellent post! Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts - and I agree . . .
Quarterly financials are due 45-days from the end-of-quarter. The Q1 10-Q is due on or before May 15th . . .
I'll have to agree now as well! Good call - at least the PPS has recovered over the past hour . . .
Now that we are on the NASDAQ we have after-hours trading - so I wonder if that will at all influence the timing of the release of the 10-K . . .
If it is released at 1:00 p.m. then everyone will have the ability to react in real-time.
If it is released at 4:00 p.m. then that may give some an inside advantage to make the the first-move (buy, buy, buy )
If it is released after, AH then that really would be putting it off until the last-minute.
Based on those scenarios I'll predict we see the 10-K within the next hour.
All IMO - GLTA!
We already had it beat (real-time) at the time of my post per my brokerage account.
Currently, it is showing 1,285,126 (real-time) so far today . . .
New Volume Record I believe - previous July 24, 2014 record passed (1,266,600 adjusted):

Okay - then as long as we are half joking - I can send the reply I thought of to your earlier post about 4.20 and Neeson:
420 - is Liam "toke'n"?
I wasn't interpreting them in literal order but that is an interesting take. We are the "developer" of a proprietary solar cell and not a "manufacturer". I think we both can agree that we are an "installer". Sorry, but I can't tell if you are joking . . .
What do you think of that Raznic - your words are like "fertilizer"!
Thanks - it really is a very good write-up - many posters have made similar valuation comparisons but yours is very polished and convincing. I just hope that you continue to see value for the long-haul ...
Awesome - thanks Mooon! All - his sources are close and legit!
Trillions - the other word that stuck out in Jim Nelson's recent television interview besides super-competitor . . . Whoever solves the solar storage dilemma will make trillions - or something to that effect.
It is very interesting that, for many, a large component of the future solution to an overall solar storage solution could include supercapacitors. Whoever heard of a "super-competitor" before which sounds suspiciously like "supercapacitor"
Anybody think that Jim is dropping clues about something they are working on? Danny may have that particular set of skills
BioSolar and Solar3D
Irresponsible speculation
Updated to expand on a few points . . .
EDIT: Full-disclosure, I own $14.90 worth of BioSolar stock (and even more Solar3D)
Welcome Aboard! I believe this bodes well for us long-time longs . . .
Please post again when the article is available (if not before)
GLTY!
Great article - thanks for sharing - I won't feel so bad if we don't have the winning bid now . . .
I haven't been able to determine if we actually even submitted a bid but was thinking it could have been one of the news drivers we have been waiting on.
However, I agree with your assessment that the structure of the outlined, utility-based deal, isn't in line with our customer ownership model.
Spot-on, mooonshine1999!
My shares rounded up at some point recently (consistent with the statement in the RS filing).
I have two Scottrade accounts and both were adjusted . . .
Thanks - that graphic looks familiar and it looks like you referenced a good cell to compare with Solar3D's cell.
I agree with sprechnd's reply that it is very much about the wide-angle aspect which supposedly permits the SLTD cell to produce more power over a given day, week, month, and year . . .
It will be interesting to know the manufacturing costs for each cell. One of the things that drew me to Solar3D's technology early on is their stated focus on minimizing the manufacturing cost. IMO
Please post a link about the "Sanyo" cell
