Could be a good one - and we'll see if that pans out
NOT simply pre-FOMC minute volatility ?
Might become an adherent of OBV if it works !
Hoping it does for you
Some worrisome charts of gold :
Made up this post last night but had trouble
getting the picture sizes to fit
----------------
Re-examining occasionally produces epiphanies.
Not so much tonight tho really -
Because I don't recall or see too much significance to 1300
Knowing what levels the question marks represent ?
Would possibly be helpful.
*Ooops, can't find my chart with the ? marks !
The charting of gold has it's quirks and it's quarks.
Not many have it's true highs and it's lows !.....
The 1st chart suggests how 1300 = Insignificant.
The 2nd chart suggests how 1300 = Suddenly significant.
Could the 2nd chart be an epiphany ???
2 Bloomberg excerpts - Topic - Quantitative Easing :
Thanks for your posts HD
---------
America’s companies, from Apple Inc. (AAPL) to Verizon Communications Inc., are saving about $700 billion in interest payments with the Federal Reserve’s unprecedented stimulus.
---------
When Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke started to pump cash directly into the financial system in December 2008 by purchasing bonds in a policy known as quantitative easing, unemployment was the highest in 26 years and companies rated below Baa3 at Moody’s and less than BBB- by Standard & Poor’s faced $1.2 trillion of debt maturing through 2015. That’s been cut to about $115.8 billion, according to Barclays Plc.

Yes that sure was quite a pop-and-drop...Value your commentary
Me ? What's the 1st thing I look at ? Overnight ?
That Hang Seng's last night's chart seemed tremendously frothy
Haven't yet checked it tonight - Ought to soon
The Nikkie's 15,000 has suddenly looked quite magnetic
But, I've been much too busy to lately bother w markets
Just barely can manage to check a few things
From what I have seen though - I'm sensing Risk-On !
Which seems to be crazy in light of your etf's gallery !
Yes, it's sure often good to have others' viewpoints, instead of just merely my own !
Crazy market action-lines displayed in chart below :
Well, I just re-listened to the start of that myself and could see that it waren't quite the version that I'd hoped it was.....T'was merely just ok : Sorry (still worth watching - parts of it tho)...
As overseas indices too are worth watching !
With tomorrow being a Friday and all ? Of course,
So many key benchmarks all parked at Key Levels !
Returning to the Guess Who topic again though, if I may be so kooky ?
They played a little lunch hour concert in our gym once, when I was in grade 7.....
Probably a year or maybe two before this :
Call me a nerd but Guess Who put on the most exciting concert in history ?....
Yeah - I can not access my Hotmail account any more.....
They want me/us to set up some kind of "security code"
Which I THINK is simply a way of tracking me/us more closely.
It's amazing what the Powers That Be could achieve if they wanted to research someone....
"Nice pic, is that you?".....
No that waren't me...
It was from one of our I-Hub pop-up ads, seen right >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Was an advertisement about managing one's personal debt
Not that I'm experiencing that type problem
Was just hoping that others were viewing it also !
Kinda seemed appropriate for that 10-day chart
My avatar is what contains an actual photo of me

Well, personally I don't know enough about doji's to judge 'em.
Plus from what we read here, don't they sound indecisive ?

Toronto will have to get busted on out !.....
Why the hell would they be adding Alcoa to the Dow ????
Unless they were planning on spiking it upwards.....

So instead of costing each and every American citizen something in the order of $ 255 dollars per month, this reduction of 5 to 15 billion in bond purchases, will now only be costing each American citizen, just $ 222 dollars per month ?
Sure sounds like a plan eh ?....But just how good OF one ?
At least it is gradual, or something, I guess....
Giving all time to "adjust".
Good Luck
