Before and After pictures sure would help significantly in increasing sales. Seems like someone at Roskamp could make that happen. There is a trial underway, so surely we have candidates that would volunteer (for a lifetime supply)?
I am patiently waiting for that break out above resistance. I don't expect it to happen today, but would be pleasantly surprised. This news has made me decide to liquidate other resources and prepare for the inevitable rocket launch that is on the pad. I am sure there are a lot of others like me...
Thanks PB for a great report. Wish I could have been there but it sounds like you had it well covered, and it would not have changed my position (I actually bought more....). Was there any mention about the recent changes in management? Was there any mention as to what "specific geological structure" CD was looking for from this "Geology" drill hole? Was there any mention of adding a third drill on TPW?
Thanks PB!
PB, Where and When is the seminar? Do you have a web address? Thanks in advance.
Google and Read this if you really are serious: If you don't get it, then don't invest in EXS for TPW Gold.
The Geology, Lithogeochemistry and Petrogenesis of Intrusions Associated With Gold Mineralization In The Porcupine Gold Camp, Timmons, Canada.
By Peter J. MacDonald
Is today the day Miners finally turn around and start advancing for another bull run? A huge shift noted today. Anyone have a strong supporting reason?
I think the silver lining on TPW is this statement Jim Sinclair made:
"The maximum cost according to outside expert opinion will be $750 per ounce published in my PEA.
Surface gold property mining is so low it is comical, and therefore modest resources can be cash cows."
I wonder what the market response would be if CD could put together a deal with the neighbors of Lakeshore for just the surface mining.
Anyone know how much gold is estimated in the surface mining zone?
I think there are many options still on the table, and I truly believe gold will be over 2k soon enough.
You could be correct. I believe CD was planning a lot of in-fill drilling (between already discovered gold bearing zones), but I am not 100% sure of exactly where he should be relative to the big picture. Would be nice to get an update on the overall project in a press release or at least an update on the web site presentations. To assume people are selling due to lack of assays just seems a bit too premature in my opinion. I sure hope that is the case, but I really don't think we ran out good ground to drill. Now if CD announces suddenly that all drills are off TPW, I might question that.
I hope CD is hoarding the results so as to be able to plan a PR release strategy that will maximize share value and maximize the screwing of shorts or any short term traders. As far as I am concerned, I'd prefer CD hold onto the results until the next N43-101 is ready. No need for short term traders to load up and sell between predictable Press Releases only to see the share prices rise and fall accordingly. I like this long delay. I simply hope it is being done with some strategy attached.
I don't think anyone is selling because of concern for a sudden end to the underground gold. What would suddenly stop gold from being deposited as per the model? We already know the market in general for miners is a buying opportunity. Anyone selling now is doing so out of fear or need to raise cash. I suppose someone could just ask CD if we ran out of good ground to explore but I think we all know the answer to that. Investors who can't handle the stress or market cycles are simply not investors. Load up while the buying is cheap. Tomorrow could be the big one (bigger than the last big one.....)
Send an email and ask for clarification: lounor@tlb.sympatico.ca
I get the feeling we are going to be seeing a panic into non paper assets very soon and I don't think it will be anything related to demand that is based on an economic recovery (like oil). I think gold will be seeing a big spike up soon. The economic recovery world wide is about reached its climax. Time will tell. GLTALs
By, please ask Gary the following:
What percentage of the planned drilling will provide data for the potential open pit mine (this assumes they have a rough idea of its potential boundaries).
Would the "potential" open pit location contribute substantially or complement accessing the deeper vein structured mine. In other words, will money spent on developing the open pit also contribute directly to the mining/processing of the deeper gold.
What are the trucking distances to the "local" gold producers (it would be nice to know all the potential local competition).
Is it feasible to split the open pit and deep gold between gold producers if the open pit owner can produce gold more cheaply by trucking.
Has CD considered the option of perhaps partnering the open pit to generate revenue with a "local" partner for future EXS exploration while the deep structure is sold separately to the highest bidder?
Thanks in advance BY...
The perfect storm is forming. This spring will probably be worse than last year. I have a feeling the shorts are going to get awakened very soon. Golds explosive appeal is only a short fuse away.
Super article AGB. Good to know that GG is in our backyard too. So 3.6 billion for a known resource of 3 million with potential to double the resource to 6 million ounces. This is equal to $600/ounce for an ounce that cost $60 to produce. If we prove up 3 million ounces and we assume for now that we have a symmetrical model, then we have the same 6 million ounce potential (at a minimum). Now subtract the cost to mine each of those ounces (minus ) from the $600 and multiply this by 6 million and you could get a very rough estimate as to what a major like GG might start an offer at. I don't know the cost to mine TPW, but assuming an offer of $300/ounce ($300 TO MINE IT) for a potential 6 million ounces and assume we have 180 million shares outstanding that would result in a share price of $9.
How much will it cost to mine TPW is what is missing here. I suspect that there are other issues to consider also. Especially if you are GG and have a facility already set up near by. Good article to base projections from for our current Macro Picture.
It is like giving a thief your gun while you are standing in front of the entrance to your safe, because the thief has led you to believe it is a dangerous device and only someone who has experience using it(like himself)should possess it. I think I am going to sell all my shares on monday. I'm convinced doom and gloom is upon us and it shall not pass. Would anyone be so kind as to give me a break and take my shares for 50% off the asking price. Please!!!
Hard to guess at this point and one might want to ask CD, however, If I were CD, I would not show my cards to anyone, because if the hand is weak, he (we) will lose. If we have 3 million proven, that at least worth a pair of aces. There will be several players sitting at the table. Having one major in your backyard should by itself start the minimum bid at a high premium. If the pot is small, so be it, but logic says there will be enough players wanting in that the pot should reflect the demand for what majors want and that is stored gold for future mining. CD just needs to not piss off any card players and be a super great host... That should be his number two priority. His number one should be to keep hitting the beast and proving up the reserve.
I bought into this stock considering the fact that I may lose it all. I don't believe we are screwed and if I felt as such then I would sell. That is what I recommend to anyone who firmly believes doom and gloom is all that is left in this company. Hearing all the positive spin is not so unheard of in life. As a matter of fact, those that live a long life tend to look at the glass half full rather than half empty. It is all relative. I hope we all get what we "dreamed" of, however, I am ready to lose all I have vested and move on if need be. One thing is for sure, High Payouts always are against the odds and it will take a strong belief in what your initial instincts where telling you in order to stay the course. Those who put their money on a bet without any true sense of the probability of success are betting blindly and almost always lose. You have 12 months ahead of you before you should even consider throwing in the towel. Do you really believe all of the majors are going to sit back and do nothing with CD if they know based on a proven technical analysis that there is at least 3 million ounces in the ground with a potential for 10x-30x more? The micro may not be supporting Miners right at the moment, however, the macro does and as always if you buy low and sell high then now is the time to be investing more money in this stock (if you believe in it). Good luck to all. Have faith in everything you do and these negative times will pass with little strife. If you are in over your head, then swim to shallower waters.
Has there been a release yet for hole 11-45 and 11-46 for the mineralization at 858.5 - 909.0 m? I don't see any supporting assay results anywhere. 50 meters of really high grade would be a huge boost. From the MD&A:
Diamond Drill Holes #11-41 to #11-46 were drilled behind and around Hole # 10-30 (previously reported in press
release dated November 23, 2010) and were designed to determine the strike, dip and plunge of the high grade
mineralization encountered in Hole #30. The mineralization was confirmed, and the structure remains open on strike
and at depth. Holes #11-45 and 11-46 are in for assays and the results are pending. It is interesting to note that
Hole #11-46 has intersected 50.5 meters of significant mineralization from 858.5 m to 909.0 m. The intersection
is 80 meters west of the mineralization in Hole #11-45 and 100 meters down dip of the intersection in Hole #10-30.
Wedges are planned to confirm the continuity of the grade and mineralization.
I only recall one area of potential surface mining. The MD&A says there are two...
Looking forward to the next few weeks! I am expecting some well deserved GOOD NEWS!
Tomorrow will be a good Friday....GB
Selling pressure has abated and it appears time for a positive news release in the next 48 - 72 hours (business hours). I would call this a turning point if I where to put my skinner on the line. Technicals support a change up although overall metals is still in a clear decline. Thank goodness we have financing completed. Now if CD can hit more awesome holes and shake this stock from the grasps of the evil "conspirertors and manipulators"....arrgghh!!! I gotta feeling....
It would be great to get to the bottom of this sp dilemma we have. I am happy to get my order finally filled and now have all I want (for now...). I hope CD has had discussions with knowledgeable people who know how to take good news and make it have the most bang for its words. In addition, it would be sooooooo wonderful to see him actually change his soooooo predictable news releases. Not being in his shoes, I really don't know what that entails based on not knowing what news he can release. It would be great if he obtained council on various strategy options and made a solid effort to be "unpredictable" so if there are entities manipulating the SP, we might see less success on their part and more potential for a higher futuristic value. JMHO. I still like where I am at with my overall average price. I do hope we are at the bottom of this selling spree. I bought a mega millions today. It's currently at 570 million and rising. I think one of my first ventures (if I win it) is a road trip to Timmins. At least the MegaMillons does not go down in value as more people buy it....Ouch, I can't believe I said that....
Perhaps I am missing something here (my wife says I am all the time), but if someone is trying to unload a whole bunch of shares then doing so via the current method seems to be a win win situation for those of us that are long. Trying to unload too quickly will potentially cause a significant drop below our current support price and thus cause an avalache of panick driven selling. Holding onto those shares until good news is released will only suppress the price and drive it back down. I for one prefer that whom ever is selling now, sells in a controlled manner and does not wait to unload on good news. JMHO. What am I missing?
Maybe someone can manipulate my order and fill it @ .215 (9.3 or 9.7k). I promise not to buy anymore until next time. Thanks in advance.
What other possible end game did you think those going long had in mind. Your point is clouded with a lot of dark clouds. Issues...
knowing Explorer is in a dilution phase would definitely bring out the shorters. I hope CD has a really good drill assay report coming very soon. I would wait until the volume starts to dry up before releasing positive results and then I would expect to see a big price move up by those putting their pants back on. Hopefully the numbers are high (bigger bounce). Anyone have the numbers?
I don't know if its true, but the evidence says the glove fits the hand perfectly. If I had the ability to finance this property, I would in a heart beat. I have yet to find any property being explored today that has the potential of TPW. The fact that the geology structure matches the HM geology, suggest that the source of gold is one and the same. The fact that the neighboring property has found significant gold and a large partner should reinforce high expectations from future drilling on TPW. There is so much more upside on this property then downside. The only people selling today are the ones who did not do their due diligence and simply just don't get it. They should rightly sell and let those of us who have extra cash buy cheap (which I did, thank you very much!).
Probably a large holder wanting to get out (most likely must get out to raise cash for some other reason). I can't see someone who is long wanting to sell at this price for any other reason. There is simply too much upside relative to the downside. Cash on hand and at least another 6 months of drilling and a 43-101. Where's the logic of selling now? I am buying more at this price. It's just impossible to know when CD will get an offer he can't refuse of hit the "big one". I understand the need to sell when cash flow dries up. Wishing good luck and good fortune to all the longs.
Can someone please sell and fill my order... 27.5K @ .235 on the US side. Thanks in advance!
Agree whole heartedly. Enough to buy 30k today. Have not seen these shares so cheap since the concerted effort to run down the price back in November just before the price surge. Lots of bashers, now all is quite. Feels very similar to picking the long shot. Lot's of confidence and positive indicators not seen by the normal crowd.
And now for the really encouraging assay results we have holding our breath for that will kick the mule in the arsss
The rapid filling is extremely encouraging. I was a bit concerned of the possible lack of ability to obtain more funding. Good to Go.....
I had 18k in a penny stock a few years back. It went through a much worse scenario than EXS. I sold after it continuously degraded for no apparent reason. It was as close to a sure thing as you get. I bailed out. Decided to check its status about 6 months later.... I would have been able to sell on that day for 500k. So weather the storm and see whats left behind. EXS may be stronger after it passes. It's all about what is really happening on the property that should be the focus to stay in. All this other stuff will test us all for sure.
I think you can sum it up simply as a combination of what everyone is putting forth. Investors are making decisions based on first hand knowledge of how Management thinks and how the processes in place affect the probability of share price moving one way or the other.
CD needs to start changing his pitches. He is very predictable. He should hold onto extremely good news until after the "Investors that make good decisions" sell and the market sells off (intraday or over a few days) before the sellers can buy back in. He needs to get his assays completed sooner. If that means shipping them to another facility at a higher cost so be it. He needs to not let anyone else touch the mail or emails that may impact share price.
I am very confident CD will continue to find the Gold. Now if he can only change how people predict his next move.
JMO.
If what you are supposing is true, that person would also need to have insider knowledge as to when potential share price moving announcements would be scheduled or at the very least understand CD's habits and when assay results have been delivered (maybe friends with a secretary or something like that). Clearly this stock is at the mercy of those with deep pockets and a close relationship with CD. JMHO. I would dare venture the next big news will only result in a 10 % pop at best only because everyone knows what the gig is (unless of course it's the big one).... Good luck to longs....I hope to He.. those that manipulate this stock get burned, the sooner the better. It would be nice to see CD pull a fast one and do exactly the opposite of what is so predictable.
Excellent post on the positives in EXS. I have seen other explorers announce Confidential Agreements before, it there any reason Explor cannot? Why not let the investor community know the number of CA that are in effect? Can't hurt or can it? Just curious why the differences and if we can make a difference here...
PS...Time to bring in the HOUND DOGS. I smell insider trading.
It is my firm belief that those actively involved in promoting Explor and who are on the front lines (so to speak), are also the ones doing the short term trades to maximize their profits. Short term trading is fine by me, however, indications are clear to me that these short term traders are making their trades based on knowledge of how CD and Gary provide feedback. I believe there are many who speak on this board with one tongue and speak to CD and Gary with another. There is no other explanation for the cycles I have been observing with Explor. I don't have a clue who it is, but who ever it is owns a significant amount of stock. Buyer be wary! A serpent is amoungst us. I think he who claims CD is a fool is probably the one is taking advantage of his weaknesses the most and contributing to share price manipulation. JMHO... I have seen enough to know there is a sheep in wolfs clothing on this board.
