Do you suggest they'd keep these kind of breakthrough news internal and wait for 2-3 months till ASCO ? I doubt it.
When will we know the results of the third
Does doctor f think that the dosage in this batch is too low to be very optimistic?
I was trying to stress out the point, that the mid-March was mentioned by the management as an expected timeline for the report from the hospital, not an expected timeline for management to report the results to the world. And these are two different events, there is work to be done in between. Report will have to be processed by the company, hospitals have only the raw data
"Studies evaluating the p21 biomarker will soon begin and the first data report is expected in mid-March."
To me it means that they are expecting the report from the hospital mid-March. It should take a few days to process it and come up with PR. I'd be surprised to see anything this week.
How soon is the interview ?
Also do you think they might release the data any time now ?
Then I'll be hoping for a delayed good news. Price will get lower due to some impatient hands
I hope the good news don't come till Friday, so I can buy more when my funds clear. I also hope that if the news are bad, they come before Friday so I don't buy it before the news hit.
I think it shows company's confidence in the safety of the drug.
Ne ssi , Vanya :)
Do we really care if he is employed or not ? I don't

May be they are hiring only consultants. This way they keep lean, and don't need to give anyone stock options.
lol. Thanks for the 10-k quote. missed that.
Looks at this person . she claims to be working there since 2009. That's why I question yahoo's data. now that you posted 10-k I am confused completely. Either 10k is lying or Sylvia Holden.

Looked up their address in Beverly MA ( 20 miles from my house ) .
Looks like in the same suite there are at least 4 business -
Futures Behavior Therapy Center
Jill Larsen, , practices Developmental Disabilities
Cellceutix Corp
Kard Scientific
Are the all affiliated with each other somehow ( we know about Kard affiliation ) ?
Pontoon, I am sure they employ more people. Yahoo was never a good source for this kind of data, and it is hard to imagine the company of this market cap does not have researchers, technicians, bio lab people etc.
DrFG ,
I see where you are going with this. good point!
Just found this person working for Cellceutix. Impressive resume.

Did not Evans believe in the company's future ? If he did, taking the stock options as a pay is usually the way to go. After 25 years in Pfizer, I am sure he did not need cash to feed his family. Then why did he want to be paid from the grants. Strange.
Pontoon,
I understand what you are saying, but unfortunately I have been burned so many times by the biotechs and others that I don't get very excited easily by the CEO's interviews. And what I have found is - the less they talk money the better chances that they are truthful, IMHO. I know money talk makes investors happy, but not the serious investors, serious investors want to hear money talk from independent analysts, not from CEOs. Same words coming from CEOs sound like pure pumping.
I have been reading thru the news for the last 3-4 weeks. I own 10k shares by now. I Want to buy 10k more, but this would be going all in for me, and I am hesitating. This article also brings down my optimism.
The big good thing about this guy is that they have a structured loan facilities. Usually crooks take all money they can from the investors at once. This settlement smells like the company does not want to give its shares to the investor for less money than they are worth, so they can sell them one block at a time on a need basis, at the current share price. That's a big plus.
Also I could not find if they have more than 2 employees working. I know yahoo data is usually stale, but on the company's site I could not find any employment opportunities page. It can't be just 5-10 people working for the company with a 170 mil market cap, right ?
Found this 2+ years old article ( see below). Anyone here remembers those times ? Care to elaborate on what happened ? Was the company really in such a bad shape back then ?
The current CEO talks about money too much for my liking. I have 10k shares, have more cash ready , but not sure if I want to get more.

Cellceutix CEO departs suddenly
By Ethan Forman Staff writer
When George Evans, former CEO and chairman of Cellceutix Corp. in Beverly, left this month over a disagreement about his pay, the company filed the executive's resignation e-mails and its response with the Securities and Exchange Commission for all to see.
The Cummings Center company is a biopharmaceutical focused on therapies for cancer and inflammatory diseases. It told the SEC Evans resigned on Nov. 5.
Leo Ehrlich, the company's chief financial officer, has taken over until Evans' successor is appointed.
"Cellceutix was not going to renew Mr. Evans' contract on the terms he demanded," Ehrlich said in an e-mail. "His letter, in the [Form] 8K, was his response."
In a Nov. 5 e-mail, Evans asked that his back and future salary be paid within 30 days or he would "be forced to consider other actions." He also asked the company purge all references to him from its website, except to explain he is no longer with Cellceutix.
In a Nov. 8 e-mail, Evans took issue with the company's saying he "resigned."
"I did not resign," Evans said. The company ended his contract without cause, he said, and he "terminated the agreement with good cause" — the good cause being "reduction in compensation without my consent."
Evans said Cellceutix owes him $1.7 million in salary through December 2012, plus stock options, bonuses and other compensation.
"I was surprised and disappointed to receive this e-mail from Mr. Evans," wrote Ehrlich, who said what is most important is that the company's product reach clinical trials.
Evans' departure could put the company in a "vulnerable position," Ehrlich wrote, "given its cash position of less than $5,000."
Evans wrote that federal grants should be used to pay part of his salary. Cellceutix recently announced it had won $730,000 in grants for three of its research programs, including one for a therapy for drug-resistant cancers.
The day Evans resigned, shareholders approved a 1 for 50 reverse split of the company's stock to "vastly improve the company's capital structure, to enable the company to raise the necessary capital to litigate or settle with George Evans, finance its continued development, and fund planned Phase I studies," the company said.
Ehrlich wrote that the company disagrees with Evans' claims, and noted that "possible litigation relating to Mr. Evans' demands will make it difficult to attract investment in Cellceutix" as a reason for the reverse stock split.

I attribute my win to a lack of understanding of what this contest was about. Do I get a prize or something ?

I'd like to thank my mom and dad, all my friends without whom this would not be possible, my wife who is my everyday inspiration , my kids, my dog Spike, and of course the IHub where folks who have nothing better to do can spend hours and hours refreshing their browser and waiting for another new piece of useless trash to appear on their screen.
