I appreciate your sense of humor . . . but keep in mind that an RFP stands for Request for Proposal which is significantly different than a RFB or Request for Bid.

I likely didn't make my self clear in my initial note. I find it hard to believe that the Gov. has put out a request that we can participate in on our own and therefor my assumption is that we are either working with someone else or your correct its just an extention of the pump.

Also remember, that I believe they (RSMI)has something, which makes me feel better about whats going on.

I just sent Brad an e-mail asking for clarification on the PR today and whether or not they are working with a supplier/partner or working directly with US GOV alone.

While many here have stated they have experience with US GOV bids they did not menetion that the GOV in many cases has the ability to disregard and/or except any responses to an RFP that they wish regardless of qualifications, as long as its deemed in the best interest of the Gov.

I have a little expertise in the beverage industry to share. Contact your local Pepsi or Coke distributor and ask if they have any old "fountain" machines they would be willing sell you. If yes, ask them to recommend someone to instal in your home. That same distributor will be able to set up an account for you and sell you the bag-n-box syrup as well as the CO2 required. It may take a little investment but over the long haul it will pay for itself.

The syrup should cost you around $50.00 for 5 gallons which will produce 30 gallons of soda and cost you around $0.013 per once including the cost of CO2. The CO2 canisters typically are available in 20lb cylinders and cost about $20.00. A 20lb cylinder will last 5-6 5 gallon boxes of syrup.

Jazz, all the places you just mentioned are still awsome. We just finished up the bonzai Pipeline Surf event on the Northshore . . . the waves, weather and people we're great.
