Intrinsa Withdrawn from the Market
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has announced that the marketing authorisation (MA) for Intrinsa in the European Union has been withdrawn. This product has been available since 2006 and has been used for the treatment of hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) in women.
Warner Chilcott Ltd, the MA holders, voluntarily requested that the MA be removed and this wish was carried out subsequently by the European Commission. It seems that the product was not commercially viable.
The Online Clinic will no longer prescribe this treatment for HSDD but we will keep patients informed of future female sexual dysfunction therapies that we feel will benefit our female sexual dysfunction patients.

The thing about analysts ratings is...
They don't impress me. I've seen analysts raise their ratings when the pps of a stock goes up (on no news) and vice versa. Many times they seem to jump on and off a stocks bandwagon without any obvious reason. Also, these analysts are so nice to give us their stock ratings for free. Well, you get what you pay for... IMHO
The 'attitude' expressed in this post is directed at the scumbags running this corrupt market, not you JTFM! Your posts are always very much appreciated!!
Here is an excerpt from an old (2011) article on the Lincolnshire Daily Herald website.
“What we think is the gating factor to partner interest and to approval is very strong safety data,” Holterhoff said in a July 8 (2011) telephone interview. Note: Chris Holterhoff, an analyst at Oppenheimer & Co.
Of course, the above statement assumes efficacy but it is just a reminder as to the importance of safety.

Thanks for the effort R3D. eom.
Well said Dorian!
The game is rigged and emotions drive us to make bad decisions. i.e., buy high/sell low and hold too long/sell too soon, etc...

I was thinking the same thing. It wouldn't surprise if similar discussions were happening on those boards.
The stock market is a very fickle place to play. One day, the sky is falling. The next day, euphoria. I'm hoping BPAX gets to the euphoria stage someday but who knows if that will ever happen. I don't have much more to lose so I'm going to ride this thing out until I'm certain this is a lost cause.
MoJo -
Retail investors may think BPAX is a one trick pony (Libigel) and are under the impression that the pony can't run anymore due to the widely (and repeatedly) publicized placebo incident last December. Just a guess...
Could the BPAX rise be somehow related to VPHM action today?
Nice to see decent level of green on decent volume. Not sure if it means anything but it sure is nice to see.
Pete - I noticed the same thing. I just assumed it was a mistake or I that was just reading it wrong.
Porgy...
Clearly the current pps sucks and the continuous dropping of the pps over the past several months sucks. Nobody is disputing that fact. You have obviously missed the point.
Good day.
Porgy...
The point is the so-called pumpers are performing due diligence and providing verifiable documentation and/or links to support what they are saying. While the bashers just bash without anything to support their opinions/predictions.
What seems illogical here is the pps. But who knows... I sure don't but I've already placed my bet and plan to ride it out until I have good reason not to do so.
By the way, pumpers who pump without support for what they are saying are just as useless as bashers who bash using the same approach.
I'm not intersted in pumpers or bashers. I'm just intersted in gathering as much quality, verifiable information (postive or negative) as possible that I can use to help make better investment decisions.
The two new efficacy trials are planned to begin in mid-2013. i.e., more than 6 months from now.
Sunny...
According to the 10-Q, the company will not run out of cash in 6 months.
"...we expect our cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, 2012 to meet our liquidity requirements until approximately the third quarter of 2013."
Where did you get your 6 month time frame?
Thanks JTFM! eom
Jeff
The way I read the short table is that 19% of the total volume on Aug 2nd was for new short positions. Is there anyway to tell what the overall short position is at the moment?
Mr. DD...
The downward trend and seemingly endless dumping of shares will end the day I decide the sell my shares. I have an uncanny knack for hanging on long enough for the pps to bottom out and then selling my shares at the absolute bottom. Not because I want to but because I apparently suck at this game.
Unfortunately for everyone, I don't plan to sell anytime soon. Therefore the downward trend will continue. Sorry.
One day I will do it right and sell a stock (any stock) at its high. ...dare to dream... :)
Joshuri -
I saw DNDN make the jump from roughly $3 to $20 in a matter of minutes. Not just once but twice within a couple of years. I'm not saying this type of jump will happen with BPAX. I'm just saying anything can happen within this convoluted fickle system. One minute nobody wants a stock, the next minute people can't seem to get enough of it.
By the way, I was watching from the sidelines both times DNDN skyrocketed. If I only knew how to time the market...
Very well said JTFM.
Unfortunately, your logical reply will be lost on porgy since logic does not seem to be in line with his agenda.
JTFM... Thanks for responding. I misread you message.
I'm glad I misread your message because that keeps the theory alive that insiders can't buy shares on the open market due to their knowledge of something good on the horizon. GLTA
JTFM...
Thanks for sharing all of the DD you do. It is very much appreciated.
Question: I may have missed it but I didn't see any insider buys in 2012 (i.e.; post R/S) in the link you attached. Did I miss it or did you accidentally post the wrong link.
Thanks.
Cool - makes for a better short squeeze... Someday, I hope. :)
Porgy -
What seems backwards here is a moderator that keeps posting nonsense. We all know that earnings don't drive the pps of this stock. Anyone investing in BPAX as an earnings play is an idiot.
Penny.
Are you for real? Earnings (none) will be in line with expectations (none). Therefore the earnings report will have no affect on the pps. The pps will continue to do what it does until significant news is released or the crooks running the market are put away (not holding my breath).
Curious, do you think the market is expecting any earnings for BPAX?
I'm waiting for the final verse...where we going up!!
Thanks for your reply Jeff.
I understand that Safety is key. As a matter of fact, that is the most compelling reason I'm still in this this thing. What I didn't know (or failed to remember) was the significance of the 9th safety trial. Now I know thanks to your clear reply.
Sorry for being dense and thanks again for your response.
Jeff, JTFM, Professor and all others who post good information on this board....Thank you!!! The information you provide is very detailed and informative. I do appreciate all of the effort you put into this and that you choose to share the facts you find and your thoughts and opinions.
I've been following this stock and this board since January. Although I bought into this stock after the Libi disaster last year. It appears I bought in a bit too early. Oh well, i'm not good at picking the bottom...
I am frustrated (as we all are) at watching this stock get pounded everyday but I am not selling now. I'm not ready to lock in my losses. This company has way too much potential and is severely undervalued IMHO. However, I do have one question regarding the 9th safety review. Maybe this has been covered already and I just didn't get it but what is the significance of the 9th safety review relative to the previous 8 safety trials?
Thanks and GLTA!!
I saw lots of stuff posted in FrogAds.
I found...

I asked Scripted Consulting if today's commercial spots were a 'one and done' deal or will there be a series of commercial spots airing. They quickly replied with the following...
"We are currently in the test phase and will be trying out several media buys on other networks over the next 45 days to see which has the best response.
Keep an eye out for our press releases as we will issue them before airing. "
Media run and time schedule from today's airings of the FrogAds.com 30 Second News Break.
