Sadly, the AM world no longer requires SGLB's products or services in order to produce "certified" parts, etc. "They" have moved on with in-house efforts, techniques, capabilities, etc. Silly to expect otherwise.
SGLB management is a collection of high-school egg-heads . . . enthralled with their new science toy . . . in a man's world.

A novel solution to SGLB's PPS problem . . . sell something; anything for a margined profit (called a "product or service.")
Fine technology, fine potential: BUT SGLB must sell something to someone . . . sometime. From donut shops to AM software this is true.
Esoteric technical articles in AM journals, AM conferences, AM booths, AM NDA's be damned. A simple principle of any sustainable business: sell something for a margined profit.
A very simple concept seems to escape SGLB and others:
An idea translates to product development; a business; and a marketing plan . . . THEN you SELL that desirable product to a customer for a margined profit. Bubble gum or SGLB.
SGLB management sucks at one or the other (hopefully not all.) OR worse, SGLB's products are not all that necessary to the targeted customer base.
Calm down. I don't care . . .
In order to remain viable, any business has to manufacture or purchase something; and THEN sell that something to others.
Yes, I am almost certain that I read that somewhere.

SGLB is a business; not some silly science project. May not know much about business . . . BUT I do know that selling something, anything is the bottom lime. (Levis, iPhones, shovels, paper towels, widgets)

Have been out of the stock since before the idiotic R/S and "uplist" suggestion (been in the South Pacific for 3 months.) Yet, I remain amazed that current holders continue to "CF" around with endless conferences, articles, and industry presentations. Oh yes, and the ever popular, "Just wait for the next quarterly until we can ask TOUGH questions."
The ONLY (ONLY ONLY ONLY) issue here NOW (NOW NOW NOW) is a signed contract for SGLB software and support . . . for cash money (you know, U.S currency, Uncle Sam's, Greenbacks, etc.) Even just ONE INSTALL (ONE ONE ONE.)

All that matters in business is product acceptance and "sales/licensing" growth.
We have little indication of either of these. YET. I think it will be so soon. However, until then the PPS will wobble & wander subject to whatever breeze happens to fill-in.

DEFORM exists and is under advanced code development, test, and feedback coding. Same for ANALYTICS. If the software and work flow is "operational" anywhere in the world it is resident on the 290 machine in Santa Fe.
One quick point: my opinion only
If DEFORM is anything other than a nice, cool sounding name on paper; some version of it's code is resident on SGLB's EOS machine. Same statement is true for ANALYTICS.
Just a couple of observations in regard to the GE presentation. They might be meaningless but who knows . . .
1.) SLIDE 5: GE AM Pedigree - Strategic Partnerships (SGLB and America Makes are the only entities listed.) America Makes I can understand. But, SGLB is the ONLY company to be singled out.
2.) All AM machine photos are "Courtesy of EOS." Odd, SGLB currently has the most advanced EOS AM machine on the planet installed in our AM facility (EOS - M290.) The M290 is fully operational and incorporates a PrintRite3D SENSORPAK with INSPECT. DEFORM and ANALYTICS are most certainly installed and operational as well.
No worries here in SD Bay! Just add to the mix a single installation/sale/license/contract . . . and voila!

SGLB has the "Right Stuff" at the 'Right Time!'
Been sailing today because I am older (not dead!) Yet, have always loved sailing's simple dichotomy: shear simplicity vs. techno./intellectual aspects.
The future is a sure winner for those young ones who think on the outside. My examples: What possible good is an "IC" chip? What can be made from "carbon fiber?" Of what use is an MRI/CT? What can be "3D printed" in metals? And a thousand far more SIMPLE outside ideas!
Time to berth and have a cocktail on SD Bay.

This morning, when I asked MC to characterize where SGLB's technology and software solutions stand in terms of the OEM community . . . he answered correctly & confidently.
SGLB bridges the "chasm" between OEM prototyping and OEM production. A VERY, VERY nice place to live!
In other words: Sure! I can print one part to engineering/CAD specifications . . . BUT Can I make thousands of parts to specification? Certification vs. Validation.
Absolutely no worries here on SD Bay tonight.
These large OEM companies are in a real bind.
In order to deliver on already contracted for deliveries and dates they must somehow jump the metal AM "chasm" (i.e., Prototyping - CHASM - full-production.) I wanted to know where SGLB stood in this regard because it is critical to OEM's, SGLB, and investors. SGLB is unique, in that our process (IPQA) stands firm in the chasm.
I am very satisfied with the answer I received from MC and VD. So, I am very comfortable adding to SGLB at this PPS, a lower PPS, and a higher PPS.
Time to go sailing.

There is FAR more to a 3D metal build than coatings, melts, etc.
Simple optical monitoring vs. closed-loop IPQA control
Many companies tout an ability to optically "monitor" the part under construction. However, only SGLB software/hardware can assess and evaluate deviations from design specs., and then instruct the printer to make immediate and necessary corrections to the build (closed-loop.)
SGLB is, as my grand-kids would say . . . "Cool."

It is ALL in the hands of SGLB management. For better or worse.

Until, until, until GE or another major player . . .
endorses, buys, leases, licensees SGLB software; it is limbo land.
No more difficult or simple than that. Then, they will come.
The problem here is that GE's Auburn plant is not yet operational.
Many others will come out of the woodwork WHEN it is AND operating with PrintRite3D software. GE has little choice, invested huge, and cannot meet next generation engine delivery schedules without it.
SGLB is in a lovely spot.
Until then, I am very pleased to buy shares at 0.06! So, continue to bicker over a half-cent and low volume.
