Better buy what you can if you want in, it’s coming and it is going to be big. Of course, just my humble opinion.
Can anyone tell me why I shouldn’t sell my 500k shares other than the fact that it’s nearly worthless?
Ok how’s this? I don’t know why Apple hasn’t bought the patents. You can’t ask a question and keep beating a dead horse in the ground because you didn’t get the answer you wanted. Be on this board to chat, gain and share info, etc, not to nag.
Here are my reasons why Apple doesn’t just buy it. Number one, they have more money, more resources, and I honestly think they have about a 25 percent chance of beating us. Number to VPLMs patents May be found in valid, whether true or not, and in that case of course Apple wins also. Number three, the patent may simply not be as valuable as everyone thinks. Honest answers. But............ The upside here is huge and well worth it for me to wait.
Do you mean they couldn’t care less?
Looks like Sawyer’s letter(s) were cc’d to the world via being placed on the VP website. Much easier than sending a personal copy to each individual.
This quote is straight from my patent attorney “ At any rate, with the IPR decisions in favor of VPLM, without even invalidation of a single claim, you gotta believe that VPLM is in the driver’s seat for the pending court cases.” This guy is not an investment advisor, but he is sharp as a tack and know his stuff. He sent me a long email explaining more things, but this is the long and short of it.
Im holding out for this one. Made money a while back on it, riding free at this point. As for the daily price, I couldn’t care less, and I do not believe it has any relevance as to the court case that is coming up. Pumps, MMs, paid posters, none of that matters. It matters if we win in court and I think we will. Settlement prior to court is unlikely with Apple or any other big guys, but if it happens, that would just be a bonus.
Good luck folks!
You will not get that here
Job well done. Everything is a risk, some are long, some are not. I’m holding for the lottery, but I might not win. Congrats on the 30k.
How did that ~$67 pps work out for the shareholders?
DB I have watched this board for a while and seen many comments from you that were sarcastic (which I can appreciate more than most) but seemingly factual based opinions based on the current reality of the situation. You were a naysayer at one point in time, and I completely agreed with you. At the end of the day I feel you have done more DD than most, and have remained very informed on VPLM, and have a good base knowledge of the way this all works. That said I am tickled to the core like a kid at Christmas to see your prediction (which I see as realistic) at $5.5 B. Anything over $1 per share is just gravy in my opinion. I have enjoyed your posts, I hope we both leave here with a bunch of money.
Percent chance of this actually happening now that the patent issue is resolved?
So if a settlement is reached, will that be distributed in dividends, or does that go to the company, how does that work? Any answers are appreciated.
Rbr 4th child patent will be the next "delay" on vplm. But as soon as that is complete the company will sell. Hahaha
Thanks for the insightful answer
So does a non final rejection mean rejection is on the way? Also regarding conceding prior art deficient, that sounds like VPLM prior art is deficient (duh) which does not sound good. Can anyone shed some light on it.
Based purely on known fact, history, and simple logic.......hell no, it will never happen. If they had offers like that, they would announce them. An offer is not real if it is not in writing. If it is in writing, they must disclose it. I do not believe there are ANY offers on the table. Smoke and mirrors.
I got in early and got out making some good money. I have money to buy more stock now at the current price but would not buy one share. I believe it will go under a penny by the end of the year.
I have hear those same type rumors for 2 years now. At some point you have to just call them lies.
In all reality, the money Emil has to gain or lose is huge. He has no gain that I can see by locking up his shares. The amount of daily trading is a nominal amount that would amount to very little wealth to anyone. I am very skeptical of the company ever selling to anyone for a substantial amount of money, in fact believe it will not happen in my lifetime, but, his locking up of the stock does indicate he has confidence in VPLM, he is not part of any scam, and a little bit of being up front with shareholders.
For the record, I am out of the stock, sold 1.5m over the last several weeks. My gains on this stock were over $100k and I am happy.
I still follow the stock because I want to see what happens.
Final bids? As if there are current (existing) bids. This is just something to delay the "sell" well into another month. Trying to get out, no buyers.
So it looks like this last little bit from the uspto is the only thing left to do before things "go big". I can't think of anything else that needs to be done, however I strongly suspect that when the patent office returns it's info, and nothing happens, that there will be "just one more thing".
Why would it be
Can anyone post any offer to buy? Microsoft or other will be fine with me. I do not think anyone has offered anything. I can see money being offered to make a lawsuit go away (if vplm filed) but that is it. Real evidence only supports a company that is hanging on for dear life.
I am thankful I am getting out at .10, but still wish ALL OF YOU THE BEST!
I wish it would sell, but the fact are the facts and there are no real signs indicating it will. Only rumors have made this go up and down in price. No updates=no news. If there were any news at all, they would announce if.
I've been less than smart since .3, but I am still profitable. For that I am thankful. I just hope I can ride the wave til it's all gone!
Got plenty I will sell at .10 if anybody wants it
Thanks, I'm not nearly all the way out, and it will take a while. I'm not "jumping ship", or trying to get out quick, simply doing what I said I would do way back. I'm selling because I am making money and I just can't get upset about that. Based purely on the factual history of this stock, the price I am in at, and just sound investing advice, I am making very good decisions.
I've been selling all along, but told myself (and others) I would not sell below about .25, then .22, then .20, you know the story. Then sat around saying I would not sell any below .15, now I wish it was there. Anyway here we are at a dime, and I am making money at that. I am looking at possible 200k or nothing. 200k sounds better. 3 million sounds way better, but I've been hearing that crap for over two years now.
Bout to put up 50k if anyone wants it. I guess I will be rejoining my exit strategy at a dime instead of .25 like I planned. Oh well, that is the stock market. Still makin money!
Where did this info on Microsoft offering 30m come from? I have never seen this or heard of it.
My opinion is no. If you got it early you could be selling at a profit now, but at nearly .10 I don't believe there is room to make much.
If it sells, of course the gain could be huge, but VPLM has not been very forthcoming with information lately, so selling continues to be only a dream.
I got in early and at anything over .03 I am making money. I am slowly selling my position until I am out. If it sells, I miss out, if it does not, I still made a chunk.
This looks like a real group of patents also. It makes vplm patents look "not so special". Makes vplm look like a penny stock company with no revenue or sales and no confirmed offers to be purchased. Oh yeah, that is what they are.
I would feel better if we were engaged with SoftBank instead of SouthBank
Yeah, we can all do the math. However a patent on a valve stem for a tire is not worth the same as for a diesel motor.
I believe someone stated that this gig is up, and that sounds pretty close to true
This article makes vplm look like a pump and dump
You are dead on it here. It may ultimately sell, but I doubt it. I think that at this point anything over .20 per share would be a blessing. There are no real offers and there have been none.
It will be an easy workout today folks, because it is downhill. Any thoughts on where dumping 2m shares will take it?
It's melting away folks. It's like drowning while thinking the rescue team is just over the horizon. The problem is there is no rescue team. Glad I made some money early on.
Well folks it is slowly easing it way down, the glow is gone, no dumping because you can't get rid of it without the price plummeting, what to do? Hold on like I have been doing and watch it melt away, or sell. My strategy (which I thought was a good one) to sell at .22-.25 a few shares a day is not an option. Pump and dump it not, I wish they would pump it back up to that level so I could get out.
The quiet is deafening and defining. I very, very skeptical of the future of VPLM and it's shareholders.
Overall I read "blah, blah, blah". I think the PPS will drop, which I know several will say they don't care about the PPS. HOW LONG WILL THIS GO ON. I wish for my target exit price
of $.25.
