I think there's a fair bit of tax loss selling occurring. Maybe it's because investors fear BK, but then again maybe buying will increase just after the first of the year concurrent with a price rise.
It takes a mess of those to make a meal, but they are fun to catch on a cain pole.
No need to be a participant in that agenda. He's not worth an argument, which is precisely what he wants.
Is it BGRASS covering?
What would have people said if he claimed there were only in 1750 Walgreens? You and a few others would attack his butt and beat him unrelentlessly. Why?
Would they, or would they not attack his butt and beat him? Perhaps they would attack his butt, but not beat him?
I don't think anybody believes the Chief. His predictions are always far too outlandish. He's had too many puffs on the peace-pipe.
"No athlete that has signed has sold 1 share of DROP."
If true, that's compelling.
If someone expresses how a product affects them, is it fact, an opinion, or could it be both? The biggest issue that I have with the whole fact versus opinion argument involves instances where someone begins their statement with "the fact is", or "it's a fact" and then follows it with something that clearly is not factual. Given the usual culprits of this offense, it is my opinion that their intent is to mislead.
H, here's an article that I just found that makes me think there may be more regulatory concern on the FDA's part than you're indicating. Check this out, especially the latter part of the piece.
Sublingual delivery may void dietary status of supplements
And here's another basically saying the same thing, but its a little more specific as to the legality of labeling something sublingual:
Is labeling a product as sublingual without approval unlawful?
Your last question asking why Macular would be partnering with Fuse if not for its sublingual delivery formula is precisely why I mentioned to Scooter that I assumed Macular's liquid AMD product would be sublingual. I don't know whether a company has to jump through any regulatory hoops to label their product sublingual, but if that's the real advantage to Fuse's formula then it makes total sense to do what's necessary to let the consumer know about it.
H, I can't help it, but I'm picturing this fat bastard behind his keyboard wanting everyone to think he's a fitness guru! I'm healthier than you would think, but it's certainly not a lifestyle for me. I also take Crestor due to hereditary cholesterol issues, not because I never met a cheese burger that I didn't like. I think the biggest difference between you and me on this particular issue is that I think people are more motivated by convenience than you do. It's just more convenient to take a supplement that has been proven to contain the exact amounts of the vitamins that slow AMD.
It doesn't take much to disappoint you! I guess I consider a slowing of the disease by 25% to be better than just a little success, but I suppose that's subject to interpretation.
In my opinion, organic and naturalism trends in the extreme are for fruitcakes. It's a way for the Whole Foods of the world to take a product that should cost x and charge x + 30%. That's why they're called Whole Paycheck where I live. Give me a nice little vitamin pill that I take once a day and a lipitor and let me eat what I want!
An oral dropper will simply measure the amount of the liquid vitamin supplement to be taken. I assume that the supplement formula is what will include Fuse's delivery technology. If it doesn't include Fuse's sublingual delivery technology I'll be very surprised, but then again I was surprised that Fuse made no claim to sublingual delivery of Power or Electro...
And, if Fuse's delivery technology does prove to be a real world plus for Macular's AMD vitamin product, it will likely work well for any number of supplements that don't currently have a sublingual delivery formula. That's where some huge potential lies and that doesn't even include the pharma possibility.
You are correct that nothing slows the disease in its early stage, but that's not true once the disease reaches its intermediate stage. Vitamin supplements have been shown not only to slow the progression of the disease, but to slow the vision loss associated with it. For many, it's clearly just easier to take a supplement with all of the necessary vitamins to slow macular degeneration than it is to make sure that their meals contain enough of the vitamins and nutrients to do the same.
Here's some interesting information that I found on the subject: AMD Information
The problem is that they're asking, but not buying. If there is more to the story, which I believe as well, then it shouldn't take much to move the needle.
What bothers me more than a few stores reportedly not selling much product, is the company's decision not to provide any guidance this quarter. What does that indicate?
Why does 5 hour energy stock a place like Walgreens in three different locations in the store? If all Walgreens customers are there to buy drugs and essentials, then there's no need for 5 hour energy to be there and certainly not in three locations within the store.
People can be convinced to buy practically anything anywhere, they just need to be made aware.
Those are excellent points. I also think that a UK distribution agreement has to be announced soon with Murray on board.
Things are lining up quite nicely. Didn't think I'd ever pull for a foreigner to win the US open though, but sometimes you just have to make an exception!
Even with the discount, I bet the margins are higher that those on product sold through a third party.
Smart, smart move to generate a nice sales pop.
Now that we know the NCAA has no huevos, should we add Johnny Manziel to the Fuse athlete-sponsor list? His lifestyle is perfect for promoting the hangover cure of all hangover cures, Electro Fuse.
Here's a little twitter advertising that I missed yesterday:

Now if all of our athletes would promote the products via twitter consistently, we might be on to something!
Exactly! I wouldn't waste my time if I didn't have a stake in the game.
They were closer to their original guidance than their lowered guidance. Of more of a concern to me is the lack of guidance this quarter. That tells me that there may or may not be a new retail partner announced and stocked by the end of the quarter.
Who knows what the sponsor contracts contain. In the case of Arian Foster, he left twitter a while ago, so I don't suppose tweeting will be an option for him.
Hopefully that big retailer is in the process of being stocked now, with an announcement to come very shortly. If the company is able to triple last quarter's revenues this quarter and begin an active advertising campaign, Fuse could be off to the races.
That's precisely the question that I've been wondering for a while. Given that they're in the vast majority of Walgreens across the country, why couldn't our athlete sponsors tweet about product availability at Walgreens? Hypothetically speaking, if Fuse intends to wait until CVS or Boots is stocked before they advertise, might they be jeopardizing the Walgreens relationship due to ineffective sales in the meantime?
I view that arrangement as a stepping stone to bigger things...
I'm not sure that the Macular partnership in and of itself is going to be huge for Fuse, but if Macular's formula slows the progression of Macular Degeneration by 17% and if Fuse's oral drop technology increases the speed and efficacy of Macular's formula, then it can't be anything but good for Fuse. Some will view it as a proof of concept and realize that there are a multitude of other products that could be improved by such a delivery formula.
Very true, but I have to think that Tiger's agent, as well as Murray's have means of vetting these things that I certainly don't. While I hate the dilution, the bigger the sponsor names involved, the more thorough the due diligence has to have been for them to sign.
He would be lucky to have you running traps for him.
I thought that Scooter's post 52777 presented a perfectly good explanation as to why we might not have heard anything on the pharma front. Any news there is very likely controlled by the pharma company, not Fuse.
I agree with you, although I have been guilty of counting inventory at several stores in my area. That being said, if those stores were the barometer used to determine nation-wide sales, Yorkshire's prediction would be spot on, regardless of whether or not a new distribution agreement is announced near term.
Something is in the works for Fuse to carry over $1,000,000 in inventory into this quarter. I'd love to see the inventory numbers now.
Boots does make some sense, especially in light of the Andy Murray signing.
HEB would be interesting. They seem to be growing rapidly and are destroying the competition in Texas.
I hope you're right. What makes you think so?
I thoroughly enjoyed that.
THIS is worth repeating:

Pumped to welcome @andy_murray to the @Fuse_Science team. Good luck these next weeks defending the US Open title! http://finance.yahoo.com/news/2013-wimbledon-champion-andy-murray-123000594.html …
Now that we know he's still on board, I wonder just how involved DJ is with Fuse?
