I like this company. I added more along the way. Solid company unfairly best down.
Sdrl disappointed for sure. I'm long there as well
Do is holding up as of late even with the price of crude
Pay date on the 17rh. We will know soon
Good luck
ceo bought 9800 shares on dec 1 as well.
So db down graded rig to a sell then increased its stake by 133%.
Thirty days below a buck and they get a notice from the nyse. 10 business days to respond with a plan of action. If the nyse accepts it hdy is being watched to make sure thru are implementing the plan of action. If the nyse rejects the plan of action they are delisted.
one thing is for sure its black friday here in the states. its also black friday for the black gold. this was a nice shopping day for me as i added to several positions today in the oil and energy sectors. one of which is not hdy... i got out of this one a long time ago and took my beating.
as of 9/30/2014 blackrock still has 2.5 million shares.
At this point they are all on 6 figure welfare. With benefits. Once the money is gone they'll make another public offering to fund their pay until the clock ticks down to 0.
Hes been looking like a crook for months.
Instead of puts i bought and sold dto. I like Bno on the way up for crude. Regardless i own 4 drillers and they should be off to the races once crude heads back up. And it will.
Div on this one is a huge plus
When pessimism is high is the time to buy. Esp on s solid company like this. I added more.
Just in time to get hammered. ..
Took a nice profit Friday morNing
Back in again. ..
Someone bought 200000+ shares AH.
Waiting For some glory days on this one again.
Well that's good. Rig and pbr are both sound companies that are beat down. Patience will pay off
We long over due
completely irrational with whats going on. this is one healthy company
Fundamentally you can't ask for a much better company. This sp falling like it has makes this a great buy time. I have added to my position 2 times recently. WIth a nice dividend there is def some money to be made in the long term.
Maybe the legal fees are going in their pockets.
one other note... you'll have to be logged into stockcharts to see all the indicators i posted.. if you just look at the top three you miss a lot of the overall picture
even though this is a hdy forum let me show you what an extremely bullish chart looks like,
using several of the indicators i use this is awesome.... and no i am not promoting this company but if hdy ever looks like this it may be time to spend a buck or two. it dont get much better...
RSI putting in higher lows on the 2 period daily chart, ichimoku flying high, macd wide open and well above 0, a break out on ROC, RRG ratio and momentum above 100 and headed up
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=PBR&p=D&yr=1&mn=0&dy=0&id=p96752745697
so the 2.65 would have triggered today.. lets see if the 3.35 hits with no news.
for some of you guys that follow ichimoku charting we have a mixed bag on hdy. turning line is headed up and crossed over but lagging line is in a down turn and price action is below the cloud. however if this turns up, as it should, we could easily get into a nice bullish pattern by this indicator.

other than march and may we have had flat volume for most of the last 52 weeks.... we have traded between 6.92 and 1.27. that's a huge swing with flat volume
i don't really watch volume as much as moving averages, momentum, elliot wave patterns, seasonality, sentiment and volatility when it comes to charting. in fact i don't even consider it for entry and exit points.
i completely revamped my trading strategy about a year ago to line up with what i'm talking about and have had great success with it. my last 31 sells have yielded 29 winners, 1 break even and 1 loser.
so my answer is i don't follow volume.
todays chart confirms what i said yesterday...
on a normal company this would pull back to 2.60 - 2.70 then head up. putting a limit buy in at 2.65 or so then a sell limit at 3.35ish makes sense chart wise. that's a nice 26% short term gain.
however this is hdy..

Yw sir. Glad you enjoyed it
one thing i track is ROC (rate of change)on a 130 period. add in bollinger bands on this and it seems to me to be a better indicator than macd. anyway putting this in we have a break out today on the upside which is very bullish. with macd turning up and with a buy buy signal it confirms the bullish position. elliot wave pattern show a 5th leg consolidation about to drop slightly (rsi on 2 confirms this)then we should head up for the beginning of a 3rd wave up pattern. also we are forming a wedge which indicates a break out to the upside. all the techs are lined up for a nice run up.
however with this company charts mean very little. that's why i took my ball and went home. =0)
if i was gonna sink some moola into this it would be now though.

Low volitility begats high volitility. You could be right.
I sold out today. 14.5% profit
after factoring in dividends i ended up at 45.6% profit on this one for a 255 day play..
definitely a one trick pony.
it took 40 days to knock 50 cents off. gonna be a while before the cross over, if it happens. and really charting for this stock is useless. news news news...
im still watching though. =0)
already bagged a 31% profit off this one as well. im good if it dont come back down.
You may be right. If so I won't get back in. I like undervalued stocks.
I sold put at 22. If/when it dips down to 18 Ill get back in
I'm gonna hold this for a while. Lots of potential to the upside
Today was the ex dividend date
