Are you still on the private board?
Viva,
From Scottrade...
Dear JW:
Thank you for your message. At this time, we have not received any recent news or corporate actions regarding your four Lehman Brothers securities: LEHKQ, LEHLQ, LEHNQ, and LHHMQ.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I don't think the otc is joining yet.
Agree denny,
they are escrows and cannot be traded (bought or sold). Why talk any further about them?
Good catch re: tolling. Last MOR showed relatively little cash available (mostly reserves).
looks like the portion of derivatives claims reached settlement in Chapmans court.
nothing yet? re: securities claims
On no, back again. Need to re-engage ignore feature. LOL
JS, did you ever ask yourself why LBHI is tracking (via EPIQ) all claims transfers (debt) for other than securities and the amounts? 1. is for future distributions 2. is for ?????
A&M (Bryan Marsal), specifically said -“Under the current governance, as long as it is in bankruptcy, a Lamco partnership will not be pursued.”
No need to reply, bye JS
J.P. Morgan paying $1.42B to settle much of Lehman suit
Jan. 25, 2016 7:46 PM • Jason Aycock
J.P. Morgan (JPM -2.3%) is agreeing to pay $1.42B in cash to settle many of the claims in an $8.6B lawsuit by failed investment bank Lehman Brothers.Lehman had charged J.P. Morgan with illegally forcing Lehman to hand over billions of dollars in collateral in the weeks leading up to its failure in September 2008.The payment doesn't settle every claim, but resolves the bulk of the suit, and allows post-bankruptcy Lehman to make another $1.5B distribution to its creditors.

LOL, yes a ~$1.8B feefee.
I wonder what the average amount per attorney would be?

Why hurry when you can buy a company for much less than in 2015?
Sure, based on claim no's looks like nothing related to CTs
Camaro,
They transferred claims (not cash). To BKM Holdings Cayman (not New york)
Have to look at each claim no. to see what was transferred...

Looks like these JPM owned UK prefs were granted re-classification into class 12.
From docket 51734

Nothing to do with LBHI,CTs,OBS
IMHO
See page 17 at the time of filing

why do I see your posts? must have to redo ignore function
And $639B in Assets
Agree, just added some yesterday. IMH is now 4Q's profitable. Only 1 of 3 profitable companies not paying prefs currently.

It is interesting that well before Lehman filed for chap 11, JPM was requiring contractual asset backed transactions in a manner that had never been required before. Essentially JPM was guarding its own money.
But as trustee JPM, took no action for CTs even though they knew enough to secure JPM's own cash.
IMO, actions speak louder than words and now JPM is seeking indemnity from LBHI. Funny business.
The same fund manager that owns Lehman CTs runs this site.

Latest report on LBIE

RL, read the rank section and the guarantee section of the prospectus.
- rank equal to sr. prefs
- guarantee is non-dischargable
Agree Uptick,
The lack of M&A has allowed some weak hands to be shaken.
Adding on dips

Likely b/c LBIE is getting close to finishing and UK pref will get small % or less. So, UK pref holders will look to LBHI guarantee that now ranks equal to LBHI pref in class 12.
Looks like the LBHI plan admin (docket 51423) is seeking to classify UK preferreds as class 12, based on sub-guarantee. Equivalent to LBHI preferreds

Since the beginning of this great republic, the executive branch has always pushed its boundaries.
This time is truly a test of the judiciary to push back.
I agree RL. Dodd-Frank applies to BHC subject to regulation (not a chap 11 BHC).
Still like our chances here though. Back to waiting
Joyce, the video is about Freddie&Fannie back in 2010.
Sorry don't understand, what is your point?
Its detailed at the website you posted, go to the homepage
It was class action by pre-bk holders that sued third parties (D&O,some underwriters). Finished in 2012
certain of Lehman’s officers and directors during the relevant time period (the “D&O Defendants”) for $90,000,000 in cash (the “D&O Settlement”) and (ii) certain alleged underwriters of certain Lehman offerings (the “Settling Underwriter Defendants”) totaling $426,218,000 in cash (the “Underwriter Settlement”).
This is over and done with. These were separate lawsuits against certain underwriters and directors & officers (not lbhi b/c chap 11).
Insurance co.s that covered this risk settled.
