I think a great deal depends on the timing of enacting the particulars of the D/R agreement.
The cited commission guarantees evoke a considerable confidence on D/R's part.
If sales accelerate this year, the PPS will go into spec mode on a potential growth profile for the company.
If this occurs hold onto hats though the trade will be a tough game to predict...
You seem to limp wrist your negative take on the company- can't be a short- they are usually better informed about problems with the stock.
So not sell side or short.
So that leaves buy side or hack for the competition,
And the off chance you are just not too bright...
Do tell..
That sort of thinking is going to cost you in the markets- look at the bigger picture.
Wait till you hold a stock which rallies 100% on fantastic news and sells off to red on the day- that will knock your socks off..
This stock is trading well.
It's also trading slow enough and with enough liquidity to allow you to make decisions on your position.
If you are in at the top of this spike- sorry- did you look at the long chart beforehand?
Buying shoulders is a tough game- watch out for spikes....
Don't fall in love with it- make money.
I hope you are kidding...
".... a little shocking, figured bldp would go on run from the volkswagon deal news"
I saw a fantastic bump which has held.
It even held at the very top long enough for the most dim witted to trade as they saw fit..
Combine this with a very obvious sector capitulation from a year long sell off- what's not to like?
I had a buy in at much lower than this and cancelled it as I thought it was not low enough... no lack of faith in the stock- just trading normal market volatility...
Good solid trading today
That's a very strong accolade for their achievements and a endorsement of the company's efforts going forward.
What happened to the ticker?
Looking good
Who cares- you making money here?
There are no 'good' or 'bad' stocks.
The name of the game is making money and that takes being on the right side of the trade.
Are you?
They will.
I agree- some guidance would help here.
It might not appreciate the PPS- for that we need to get back on track with SEC's..
Did you keep some of your possition then?
There goes resistance- let's see if she can cross the more important level.
Yeah- you are one hell of a guy thanks.
Influencing retail folks to hold or sell when they shouldn't is why you are posting here.
It might not work but that is your problem not mine.
A note to that effect will be a pleasure to read when it is included in a 10Q...
Impossible to say what his game is.
Backing a large opening position, backing a large closing position,
a competing industry, a public service anouncement by some guy who thinks anyone gives a damn what he thinks..
Who knows/who cares
The only thing for certain- he is posting to depress share price.
WOW- they are alive... Lol.
Thanks. very much for the link.
That is a important insight.
That all you have?
Four posts and all are on this board against this stock.
Your game is showing.
New licensing agreement with DR- woo hoo

Yes- an odd post given that Hamrin is in fact "MIT engineer with a better ideal" and the US economy is quite robust.
I don't think you are taking in the industry fully in that post.
Read this:

Flaring is a issue which will have to be addressed- in what manner is a open question.
Trading now after hours
No ideal- though I have been in this stock for some time & find that the supply is low at this level.
I will restate that any buying/selling drives the price a good deal- no liquidity here.
Thoughts?
The market will tell us shortly in any case but...
Cash will be needed- increase of revenue stream will be the result as the new venture comes online.
I wonder how much lead time the market will use to hedge the event..
The stock supply is thin at these levels- the recent volume spike could have been based on a single(or small group) of insider buying against this development.
Buying is coming into the stock today- I think we are looking good for breaking to the topside and out of this range.
Ha- jobs numbers don't hurt either!
Keep it under your hat...
Not huge volume but a bump in pre-market on the MD offshore project news:

No.
Or to put this another way- gaps fill by a similar price displacement which is often seen as like mannered abrupt moves. The shift is similar in degree though often has no direct price point retrace. That is the shift may occur by a gap down from 1.1 to 1.0 and still be technically a fill of this one.
When looking over the long chart in several years time the break down in price will by obvious by its symmetry as being a fill of this early up in price.
My take is this first gap is a simple break away gap and will never fill.
I don't have an example in front of me but look about on long charts. Gaps fill when the move was an unnatural one which when removed has no effect on the price development of the stock over time.
A choppy chart is smoothed out by the gap events cancelling each other out but the price appreciation (or decline) is the same over time.
Looking at our chart- I am not seeing the type of unnatural high terrace which is often shorn when gaps fill. If anything the price has been quite naturally smoothing off the sharp rallies with nice retraces. One might say the gap "filled" when we sold off from the peck at .9
.72 .75 looks fine to me.
Looking for a buy in place?
Why didn't you take the low 60's?
OK- good.
Glad to see us get that behind us.
The 8k states that the award amount (number of shares awarded) may be reduced if the stock price is too high- above $3 per share.
"Because the ability to settle a portion of the Awards in Common Stock is subject to the Stockholder Approval, the Awards may be reduced if the Stockholder Approval is obtained but the Common Stock closes above $3.00 per share on the date of the Company’s 2012 annual meeting in order to limit the potential impact that such Awards may have on the Company’s earnings."
Very solid trading-
The challenge will be when it hits our targets- hold for the first or second?
Not bad choices to have :)
No one panics at a buck if you entered the SP at 10 or 20...
The current crop are flooding in and out of the stock along with the penny flippers.
Note in presentation PR sets order level from Siemens.
Page 19- "Order and Backlog History" notes that: "Backlog does not include recent 57 tower order from Siemens":
http://www.bwen.com/pdf/BWEN_JP_Morgan_presentation_12-1-11_FINAL.pdf
So we have a confirmation it appears for more towers than the initial 36 and should see these revenues on the books for 2012.
Ditto
Overhead supply lives in the .73 to low .80's
Would be nice to see us clear it but a .62 to .72 range for a bit wouldn't kill us either.
At least we would all know where to add! LOL
There are some good posters there.
Maybe one in five or so...
It doesn't say it anywhere and it didn't happen-
Another soft rumor generated by the pump and dump crowd.
I will take this as a opportunity to restate my own objectives:
The worse news I could hear is of a buyout or controlling interest from one of the large players.
If I wanted GE or SI I would have bought their stock.
Broadwind as an independent is why I am here.
It didn't happen
looking good-
The volatility has called in the day traders- long trend is all that matters IMHO.
Holding long- have a good day all.
