My strategy is to have a big enough position that if the stock goes crazy on the upside, it will be life changing for me. If it goes bust, it will sting but not change my life. I am not rich but I have plenty of other assets and stocks to be comfortable with this play. Why I chose this stock? I feel we have enough evidence to see it is extremely under valued. Time will tell if I have been misguided or will be buying a new house. GL
The 10k won't be out for a little bit of time, so in the mean time. The bid size is getting bigger and no one is selling. Maybe we weathered this storm and shares are getting thin to purchase at these levels. Normally when money is being raised by the company, the big boys play a lot of games with the stock price to lower their risk.
Hopefully you mean right back to .0235.
Just a guess but I think we could have a good finish today. Look how the bid size is getting bigger.
It makes you feel like they are more legit. Real companies don't say anything that is not public information. Especially before news is to come out. This should be a quiet period for them.
The only thing I don't know is how many shares will be outstanding after they raise funds and/or retire debt. If there are 900M shares authorized now, worse case the market cap is $10M at the current stock price. Still undervalued. Could they authorize more shares and dilute the stock more? Possibly. But I think when we see their sales numbers and how much outstanding shares are out there. That will be a big day for us. What is going on behind the scenes (debt reduction and fund raising) is our answers to a lot of questions.
Investors (speculators) are funny. When a stock price is soaring, they are regretting not buying more and wish for a pull back to be able to buy more. Then when a pull back does happen, they think there is something wrong and are afraid to buy more. Fear and greed drive all of us. We can't fear the down turns and should not get too greedy on the upward runs. I feel more confident hearing the negative when buying more than the positive. We should buy when the doom comes and sell when "to the moon" (should have but didn't) comes. I feel the stock is undervalued, so I know what I do on the down turns. I am doing what I said earlier today.
True. I should have said the general market has the potential to know as much as we do. But they know nothing more.
The general market does not know any more than we do. So this downward movement is going on behind the scenes.
We can discuss it later to see if I did the right thing. But I bought more down here. I think this drop is temporary.
Something is not adding up. There is a buyer for every seller, so there are some who could be rewarded down here. A month from now; The buy of the century or ?
I felt there was going to be a sense of urgency to buy at these lower prices. The market cap is around $7M which is a fraction of most of the the stocks in this sector. The market is not a believer yet. When will that change?
You might be right. I was guessing we were going to be up nicely today but you never know in penny land.
There must not be any money to be made here. It leads me to believe most of the ones on this board are traders. They will be back when the volume and wild swings take place again.
Pretty quiet here considering the activity in recent times. No one has anything to say? Hopefully we won't have to worry about it, but like most, I haven't kept much dry powder.
Hopefully at some point in the near future, we'll not care about the pullback or at what price point we bought in at.
You sound like a good person. Have nice 3 day weekend.
I sold out once about a year ago and made about $2500. Since then I have only bought with out selling. It hurt a little that I have rode it back down from .023 to these levels. But I have bought more down here because I feel very confident in their future. Sometimes long term holds can cause some stress.
A 3 day weekend comes into play here too. You could be concerned about missing out on good news or being in the stock on bad news which can skew a traders decision.
Welcome to the world of penny stocks.
You're right. Thanks.
Is it just me or did this board take down all the companies history and profile? There used to be a lot of information that is no longer there because it's gone for me.
Unless the company diluted the stock a lot more. This market cap is extremely low comparatively to the other stocks in the sector. Is this a gift at these levels or a sign of a dilution?
I wonder with the low volume and the big spread if all the traders have moved on. That only is leaving us long term shareholders here and what more can be said until we know what's going on behind the scenes. If news comes out or if the volume picks ups with tighter spreads, you'll see this board light up again.
Market caps. What is wrong with this picture? It can't stay this way forever.
MJNA- $467M
MCOA- $113M
POTN- $123M
UBQU_ $10M
Mine will be, "you should have bought more". I bought a ton and even I still feel that way.
Yes and no. The market cap is calculated off of the o/s, but a low float can make the shares more valuable to own obviously making the price to spike much quicker on good news.
Even if they used all 900M authorized, we should still be above .10 cents compared to the other stocks in this sector. Why are we so way undervalued? I don't get it. By the way, I doubt they'll use all 900M. This stock should be 5 times higher today without any further news. The market will recognize that soon enough. Especially if the company has a big announcement coming.
Isn't how many are outstanding more important than authorized shares? Most companies have a lot more authorized to give themselves room to maneuver when they deem fit. It doesn't mean they will use them. I believe the price isn't going up as quick because there probably will be some dilution of the outstanding with some fund raising.
Look at most or all of the other stocks in this sector. They have a market cap. 10 times or more of us. Why is that and doesn't they make us way under valued? We could easily go up to close to .20 cents and not be over bought by comparison. We aren't even touching on the cryptocurrency world yet.
Like always. The traders make the best money. If I would have sold, the stock would have gone straight up. At least I didn't panic and sell at lower prices. Knowing to sell at .023 and buy back at .012 is a gift I don't possess. I would be more likely to buy more at lower prices without have sold, but I already own more than I should. I'll just ride these swings out.
It doesn't seem that there is enough volume to trade the stock. Is it more about accumulation than trading right now. Some of us with fairly large positions would be most of the volume if we were to trade out then in. I think I would not want to take the chance of selling and not being able to get back in.
I'm just curious why we are down 10% when potn is up 50%. Is this cause for hope or concern? Our volume is much less so maybe not as followed. Not sure.
I'm on board and hoping. Good luck.
Pretty bold predicting definite events for a penny stock. I may guess a trend but tough to guess on an exact time. Smokey got burnt on that a little.
Not so sure. 3 day market close. End of year, etc....
Hope you are right though.
Levels of feelings:
Holding on and the price drops drastically - unhappy but hopeful
Selling and watching the stock skyrocket - incredibly sick
Selling and watch it drop - gratifying
Holding and watching it skyrocket - exhilarating
Maybe you were trying to good by people but sometimes intentions such as yours can be dangerous for other people. There probably was some poor unfortunate souls who sold at on your comments about being overbought. I have seen other people who have intentionally tried to get people to sell so they can buy more at lower prices. It doesn't sound like you are one of them, but you somewhat created the same results. Probably why some were so negative towards you earlier on.
You're a better trader than me. If I see a bullish long term, I accumulate on the dips and never sell. But the good traders will usually make more money than me.
I don't want to wish bad on anybody but I hope you regret those sells. Obviously if you sold at a profit it won't be terrible for you. But if the stock goes a lot higher it will sting.
Whatever entity bought today, did with pretty big volume. Just remember at these prices, it is a drop in the bucket for the big boys. If has been decided behind the scenes that we are a $1 plus stock, there is a lot more where that came from. I have been on both ends of a big run up. I've sold and seen stocks continue to go up. I've held and kicked myself for not selling. It is a sicker feeling to have sold and watch a stock soar with you out. I'll take my chances sitting tight and watching the volatility.
