Good point, but I still don't like it
I have traded and invested in many gold and silver mining and exploration stocks. Delays in releasing lab results have never been a good sign and usually mean the results where not what was hoped for. I hope this time it will be different
God I love it when you guys talk dirty!
Nasdaq and QQQ is sitting on some good support. could gain 5/10% in the QQQ. Put a tight stop.
Unless there was/is a written agreement or understanding either while you work for the company or upon termination, anything you know can go with you. I just meant if she is Judy she would probably know everything, good or bad. But I don't think she is. NSDM would probably take legal action if she where if she used information NSDM obtained with their resources to financial benefit herself or another company.
Are you serious Clark?
If she where Judy wouldn't she know all things going on behind the scene, good or bad with NSDM? Like it or not, Shadera's call on the last PR was closer then most.
Who was it that released the news there would be another PR next week? In one breath you accuse the guy of selling yesterday and the next breath you believe what he says. Which is it? If Walter decided to withhold information to do another release next week he has his head up his ass. If anything he should do another release today and clarify the last one. This is the seconded PR this month that was suppose to have "great news". I think Shadera has this one pegged for what it is
not what I call a big runup but it is moving. Hit .059 twice
It moved !!!!!
2 EST
Thanks for the Information, GOOD JOB.
Well just what did Walter say. Walter wouldn't be giving out information if it was something he wanted keep secret. COME ON, IF YOU REALLY KNOW SOMETHING SPILL THE BEANS OR STOP BLOWING YOUR HORN ALREADY
On the other hand, I don't think anyone at NSDM is a liar but I wouldn't mind seeing some documentation of their claims about mineral rights in the Ukraine either. They may not be as modern as the USA but they must have some permit system to track this sort of thing
or I least I thought they where before they purchased their own.
How where they able to drill and test samples if they didn't have some right? I also thought they where using equipment that was owned by the Ukraine government.
Would the average of the shares trade daily be an approximate count of how many shares the day traders trade?
155,000 Man it's cold out.
Sorry I couldn't post last night, had some problems with my Internet connection so.
Deann I wasn't trying to spread rumors or anything, just sharing some info I had. Got myself alittle worked up. The thought of making money does that to me. I'm not going to contact the company myself for awhile, just going to lay low. And don't worry about writing something that will offend me, I prefer people to be direct and to the point.
Trisha I believe they increased there lease holdings because they believe there is something there. I don't know about the samples. They only took 4 as far as I no and thats not very many. But if you read Walters statement, there must be something there he likes, thats all I mean. These are just my beliefs.
Have a good day everybody, I'm going to out in the bush all day.
I just got of the phone with a friend that I have been sending info about NSDM to. Said he call NSDM today to just find out from them whats going on before he sunk any money into it. Said there was no one in the office except a girl named Palma. ( I have seen her name mentioned so I knew who she was). Said she was really nice but didn't want to say much and encouraged him to call back later or on Monday because Walter was in a meeting. But they did talk alittle bit about the core samples. She said they hadn't received them yet but it would be very soon and they did plan to do more sampling. Now I know this is obvious everyone becouse they would not have increased the lease holdings if they where not going to exsplore.
Now I have been reading and studying the interview Walter did in January all week and I remembered reading something about future sampling, so I read it again and the the fifth question was:
Where will you go from there?
and the answer:
We will take the core down to the laboratories and have it analyzed. If the core contains diamond indicator minerals or associated minerals, We will continue the exploration program.
Read the interview yourself and they are talking about Canada.
Interesting. I think they have found something they like. It may or may not be in the samples but there is something there. The little things are starting to come together.
I hadn't spoke to my friend since last Monday and I didn't know he was going to call today so I am not trying to undermined our agreement about contact with NSDM.
Its not much but I wanted to pass this on
Your right, that is #1.
Your it Deann. Now, did the company obtain more mineral rights because they liked what they found or because they didn't find what they where looking for. ( This is not a song by U2)
I vote for Deann. You seem to be fair and have a good head on your shoulders.
Could have.
No I think you should be. I may have damaged my credibility with Walter anyway. But I will help in anyway I can
Just things like Dan have something going on with the company or that they read the boards. I thought you have anyway, maybe I'm confusing you with someone else. sorry if I have.
look I know to many of you what I found out was nothing new, but I had to find it out for myself, in my own way. Like I said ,I am a Doubting Thomas
Well it was I that did it not anyone else. I just had to try a verify whats going on. Many of these bb stock are out right frauds. I dont live near there and just becouse someone takes a good game doesnt mean they are honest.
I didn't ask, but he must have some interest in the company. Which has been spoke of hear before. I just didn't no what to believe. But with Walter saying it to me, there is something going on
I also didnt identify who I was when I spoke with him.
No Deann would be a better choice. She has know for a long time what I just found out. And has reported it to.
Everybody there is one other thing about my conversation with Walter today that I think I should mention. I mentioned to him all the rumors and concerns that everyone has concerning all different issues that are posted here ( PR releases, ownership of mineral rights etc.). He asked me which board, was it RB. I said no, I couldn't remember the name but some guy called Don or Dan or something like that had started it. Walter immediately said Dan Heilman at the Hub, He isn't suppose to have any contact there anymore! I said , well he hasn't in along time as far as I know (Now this may not be word for word but Walter has an accent to me that is sometimes hard to understand). Well the point is I kind of tricked him. I have read this board since Nov. and first posted in Dec. Of course I know the name of the board and who started it. I was playing dumb (like a fox). Well 2 things here. I believe Walter is aware of the board and does read our stuff and more importantly Walter does know Dan and there is a working relationship between them. There may be things going on behind the scene. ( Walter I am sorry but their's so much BS here I don't no what or who to believe and I do have money involved here. I mean no harm.). Now to some of you this all may seem stupid but to those of you who are Doubting Thomas like me this means something. I have thought about posting this all day and whether I should do it or not. This is the first chat room I have ever been involved in and I realize the people kind of grow on you even though you don't know them. I don't like all this secret stuff so I decided to go ahead. If nothing else someone may get a laugh. I guess A2 isn't the only one who reads between the lines. I hope I haven't made a bid deal about nothing.
I agree. You never no about the fundamentals but the chart sure looks good to me. If we can take out and remain above .06/.062 or so we might start a new leg up.
I called and talk to Walter a little while ago. Said they have increased their lease holdings to about 55000 acres. Has high hopes for the future and reminded me he holds a substantial number of shares and wants the stock to rise as much as we do. Said the PR will probably be out next Tuesday or Wednesday. I asked if the info to be released would move the stock higher and his response was; Yes it should, the stock is undervalued ( I no everyone already knows that). Said there would be allot of information and details.
Not a bad day.
I sure hope this next PR has something worthwhile in it. The last one sure was a disappointment.
We need to overcome the Resistance between .06/.062 or so and settle above it to take the next major leg up. I think we could have another run at .06 before the close. Any settle above .052 would be good over all though. IMHO
FOR: AFRI-CAN MARINE MINERALS CORP.
TSX VENTURE SYMBOL: AFA
JANUARY 27, 2004 - 11:03 ET
Afri-Can Marine Minerals Corp. Acquires a 75% Undivided
Interest in 49 Known Kimberlite Pipes in South-Central
Namibia
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--Afri-Can Marine Minerals Corp. ("Afri-Can"), is
pleased to announce that it has agreed to acquire a 75% undivided
interest in four exploration licenses (EPLs) situated north-east
of Gibeon in South-Central Namibia from Deep South Mining (PTY)
Ltd and South-End Mining Corporation (PTY) Ltd. In terms of the
agreement, Afri-Can will acquire the interest in the EPLs for a
total cash payment of N $400,000 (CDN $72,000) combined with the
issuance of 400,000 shares of Afri-Can.
Forty-nine known kimberlitic pipes are located on a concession
area measuring 4,000 sq. km. Recent reassessment of existing
exploration data by the "Geological Survey of Namibia" now place
the boundary of the "Kalahari Craton" west of Gibeon instead of
western Botswana where it was originally believed to be located,
thus greatly enhancing the diamond prospectivity of the Gibeon
kimberlite field. The recent discovery in the area of a 200 meter
deep shaft operated in the early 20thcentury by German
prospectors and of some old German prospecting data, confirm the
fact that diamonds were recovered during that period.
It is probable that the Gibeon area and the region to the
north-east of Gibeon was drained by the Tsauchab River during the
late Cretaceous, and that this river system was most probably the
source of the 594,000 carats of diamonds which were mined to the
north of the mouth of the Tsauchab River by German operators in
the early 20th century. This same river system could also be the
source for some of the diamonds discovered on Afri-Can's "Block
J" marine concession area, thus enhancing the supply of diamonds
brought northwards from the Orange River. These stones might also
be expected to be larger than stones that transport models
calculate, that might have been carried to Block J from a more
southerly origin.
The work programme on the EPLs, which will commence in the
southern winter, will include a review of historical data,
detailed mapping of the area, which will include the search for
additional kimberlites, and the location of the precise position
of the Cratonic boundary, together with a reclassification of the
known kimberlite pipes. Details concerning the exploration
programmes will be made public once the planning phase is
completed.
The agreement to purchase the EPLs is conditional upon approval
by Canadian and Namibian regulatory authorities.
Afri-Can is a Canadian company, actively involved in the
acquisition, exploration and develop-ment of major marine diamond
properties in Namibia. The corporation's large and prospective
license holdings, together with its growth strategy, place it
among the important participants in the marine diamond business.

Do you know what the bid/ask price is now.
thanks again A-2. glad I was able to contribute something that may be worthwhile.
