The ol' Canada Police eh, please let me know what they say....
Just the beginning of the climb IMO, the new mining claim alone is enough to be excited about.... any day now~
Yes, those seem to be valid arguments against SRSR being a scam, logically put forward and rational. I enjoyed your post~
I would add most scams crank out the Press Releases like 7 a week.... communication is absent in SRSR's case....
I didn't know Scott had a brother?
I think once the holidays wear off we will see something. Just a feeling...
Yup, new COO, new claims, website revamp.... lets hope they roll out some serious news.... we could get some momo players as well at these prices....
Spike for SRSR!
SRSR / Niostar just got a new claim near nemogosenda lake, tipping their hat a bit about the next update maybe?
Thoughts anyone? Why isnt the board buzzing about something substantial!!
http://www.mci.mndm.gov.on.ca/Claims/Cf_Claims/clm_cssm.cfm?Claim_View__Claim_Number=4250916
Is this a new claim? Yes?
As a shareholder, could we just show up on the property and check it out? I mean, I've spent a buncha time in north Ontario, its pretty desolate.... think we legally could as shareholders though, without trespassing, you know.... cause we technically own it in some vague sense?
Just a curiosity, I'd hate to fall down 60 year old drill holes:)
Another year bites the dust....
Reminds me of the final moment of the shareholders meeting in 2011.
"And may 2012 be a better year!~"
Lol a pump would be nice but not with this O/S
I literally am rolling over in my grave for not ejecting at 6 - 6.5 last year..... but meh guess what, I knew bigger things were coming, and they still are..... Hind-sights razor sharp....
The steel mills aren't doing so well since.... the 90's.... I can go take a picture down by Burlington Street if you like, it's like looking at a mini-Detroit.
Seems pretty reasonable to me....
No one has ever suggested that. If anyone is actually using this message board for multi-million dollar deal "DD"..... God help us all....
Once again, my comment about my comment was about a comment that YEARS AGO, there was work being done and pictures were posted, which contained either a license plate or a company logo, and then it was tracked down and the personnel harassed.
I believe Merle mentioned it was the only time he ever saw Mr. Keevil "really pissed".....
Which was postulated as the reason that there are no more / seldom / few / no pictures of current activity posted anymore..... But that's just conjecture....
That post is well over a year old.... relevance?
Is this the new thing now? Questioning the existance of 50 year old documents....
Sigh
Im not greedy, show me ten cents:)
CIBC (Canada) can sell but no longer buy SRSR.
The magic wears off fast;)
You'll be waiting awhile.....
Couldnt get a better answer:) Thx~!
I'd love to know what / how / if / when he's being compensated?
I know I'm a bit late to the party but I just got home and wanted to make sure it was stickied~!
Cheers
OAKVILLE, ON--(Marketwired - Sep 19, 2013) - Sarissa Resources Inc. ("Sarissa" or the "Company") (PINKSHEETS: SRSR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Benjamin A. Ward to the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Ward has also been appointed to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company. The Company's current President, Scott Keevil, will remain as Chairman and CEO.
Mr. Ward brings a dynamic aspect to the Board and the Company that is expected to be helpful in bringing the development plans for the Nemegosenda niobium project in Ontario to fruition and will be his sole focus with the company. He has proven adept at public company management and development, bringing Joshua Gold Resources Inc. (OTCQB: JSHG) to trading in a challenging environment in the mineral exploration sector in 2012.
His previous experience includes Project and Program Management in international infrastructure and development projects, primarily in The Republic of Chad, Papua New Guinea and Haiti. Benjamin holds a HBA and Master of Business Administration with a dual concentration of finance and operations.
"I look forward to working closely with Mr. Keevil as we work to capitalize on the historical resource of 18 Million Tonnes of Nb2O5 material, and completing a joint venture with one of the many interested and qualified parties to bring the property to the feasibility stage," said Mr. Ward. "There is potential to bring near term value to the Company and build from the base that has been established. The strategic importance of Niobium to the world's steelmakers and current lack of distribution to many of the global markets, provide a unique opportunity for security of future supply to many of the world's emerging steel producers."
Mr. Ward's initial focus will be to quickly move forward and close on the financing and development initiatives for the Nemegosenda Niobium Property that have become available to the Company.

Not angry, just disappointed....
Thus far....
Well as we all know, past preformances in the stock market are indicative of future results, so I have my sell order set for 5.5 cents since we are due for our yearly August run.....
When I was at the 2011 meeting in Toronto, it was just Keevil, a bunch of lawyers, myself and my girlfriend, and 2 other shareholders. But I see your point....
Well, I guess the only connection I could make is, like there was a special resolution like the HKHE deal.... some new deal or something to vote on.
Guess theres nothing to vote on? Or at least nothing in the forseeable future. It was also just a vague "I dont think so" via email so....leaves lots of doors open. It was always my understanding that companies had to do one a year, clearly I'm way off....
Just an FYI from Merle: He doesnt think there is going to be a shareholders meeting this year.
This is as close to news as I could think of.... figured I might as well share it.
Cheers
Jack
actually yeah I wish the financials were a bit more detailed....
Thats a pretty rational viewpoint.... I don't see too many lobster and caviar dinners in the works.... he really only gets paid if the companies a success....
OAKVILLE, ON, Jun 17, 2013 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- Sarissa Resources Inc. ("Sarissa") (pinksheets:SRSR), through its wholly-owned subsidiary Nio-Star Corp. ("Nio-Star"), is pleased to release this update to shareholders relating to ongoing activities.
Over the recent past we have entered into 2 separate Letters of Intent ("LOI"): one with a private group based in Hong Kong ("HKHE"); and the second with a Chinese State Owned Enterprise Company ("SOE"). These were entered into with the goal of financing the next stage of development of Nio-Star's niobium property (with the objective of completing a project scoping study) and, in the case of HKHE, the potential spinout and listing of Nio-Star as a separate public company. While both of these LOIs have expired, a good working relationship was developed with both groups, and we continue to have an interest in working with either or both of them.
As part of the revised Letter of Intent with the SOE, a further step toward the scoping study phase was instigated in China through the metallurgical testing of a large sample of rock from the niobium property. Although this testing work was originally intended to be completed in a relatively quick turnaround time, it remains ongoing. Under the terms of the amended LOI signed with the SOE, Nio-Star is entitled to receive copies of the reports from these studies. We anticipate these will be useful in advancing the progress of the scoping study, along with the SGS Lakefield Research report, "An Investigation into Extraction and Treatment of Niobium Bearing Ores From the Chewett Orebody - Phase 1", prepared for Sarissa; and the report, "Nemegosenda Niobium Project: Ferro-Niobium Production Facility Pre-Feasibility Study (Phase 1)," currently being prepared for Nio-Star.
The expiration of the previous LOIs has allowed Nio-Star and Sarissa to pursue other financing and development sources that have approached them. Given the relative uniqueness and rapidly expanding technological uses of niobium, along with the fact that there are only 3 significant suppliers world-wide, there remains a good potential for us to complete a transaction with a strong partner. To that end we have been in discussions with other interested parties. Non disclosure agreements have been signed with certain parties in order to provide detailed technical data, but these have not yet resulted in transaction agreements.
Sarissa is also pleased to report that it has raised $255,000 through a private placement of 12,750,000 of its shares at $0.02 per share. The proceeds received will be used as general working capital.
