Is there an estimate for what their all-in cost per ounce will be? Production and revenue means nothing if their cost per ounce is greater than the price of gold.
Right. Maybe they should shut down the Ruby and stop spending any more money on anything so no more shares get issued and the OS is frozen. Theyv been selling shares to pay for opening a gold mine to make the company profitable. What are they thinking??
r u serious? Who in their right mind would short a stock at 0.0004? Its only .0003 from going no bid again. An absolute horror story man. But hey knock urself out. Maybe u get lucky.
Good advice. A bit too late for 99% of the bagholders here. It would cost more in commissions than its worth. What a horror story.
NBRI. Ur prolly confusing what is gushed about on this board and what NBRI itself says in its prs. They said their mining the white channel and would have the first 100 tons this week and then start processing. They always call it the initial sample so that tells me there is more to come. But all this talk about how much gold peeps expect is just wildass guesses imo. I cant find any pr where they said how much gold they expect to find in the white channel have u? & theirs no pr that says how many hours it will take. Thats all wags from peeps here also. Do you have a link to where they said how much gold is there and what the percentage of specimen gold is? It mustve missed it.
ROFL! Good thing its rain and not snow. Best of both worlds. Helps the drought and keeps us motoring. Me likes.
You guys are tough. LOL! Its gold dude. And its from the black channel. Their not even mining up there yet but their still picking up gold just from walking through it and scouting. Like walking through ur backyard and finding $800 just laying there. Good looking nugs 2.
Those are generalized risk factors that apply to any mine. It did not say it was specific to the Ruby. Your cut and paste is out of context.
Its a well established fact that its nearly impossible to determine proven reserves on an underground placer. They can produce 500,000 ounces and it will still be called unproven. LOL! C u in the funny papers (and watching from the sidelines).
I should be so lucky. Still havent sold yet but my finger is on the trigger. Very disappointed on one hand but not surprised considering this is after all an asset acquired in a bankruptcy which means it has a long history of failure.
There is an ad for PGLC on the IHUB front page that says
Pershing Gold: Relentless Insider Buying (click here) and then underneath it says "Ihub has been paid $300 to disseminate this advert".
I have been suffering with the sideways trading for many months now expecting that they would make some progress towards production but for the first time I am considering taking my losses and moving on. This is a stock selling enterprise not a mining company. Paying for advertising that insiders are buying is a HUGE RED FLAG imo. Why dont they also tell us who the hell is selling into every single uptick? Balls.
Yeah it will hit a penny again after the next R/S and then only for an instant.
Im hoping the pps can rise to the point where I can break even on the broker commission when I sell. Breaking even on my original investment is prolly a total pipe dream now.
They prolly cant do the survey until spring when theres no snow on the ground. You cant snap your fingers and get stuff like this done yknow.
Thats no dog and pony show Spanky. Technical papers delivered to a gathering of professionals are prolly done by invitation only. Must be some buzz in the geo community about the Ruby they want to hear more about imo.
Read the filings. Theyve been doing that for 3 years now. Where do you think they got the funds to invest $3M into the Ruby? Tangiers has been their main institutional investor since 2009. The first S-1 went effective in 2010. Read the filings.
How about both? They just filed an 8-K with a copy of the pr. LOL!
The answer to this has been posted many times.

Maybe you dont understand what the term audited means? You boldfaced it but ignored it.
The contract also says
Read the filings.
They are bulk sampling which can mean taking out 100 tons or more. Thats not the same as putting a few rocks in a bag and sending them to a lab. Big difference and takes a lot longer.
Same old same old. Spinning wheels and going nowhere but sideways.
How so? I figger it as $10K.
In a few years what we now know as the London AM Fix will be known as the Shanghai PM Fix. The poles are shifting. IMO.
Pragmatists only look at facts that are already known. They have no use for intuition nor are they capable of anticipating the future cause they take no risks. They play it safe and any investments they make will return little more than a treasury bond. True investors have the imagination to see what the pragmatist ignores or dismisses and when they are right the rewards can be astronomical. You are right to say that NBRI has not yet mined any gold. What you ignore is the potential that they will mine much more gold that even Spanky imagines. If they announce tomorrow 1000 ounces produced this month and the pps spikes to $10 will that then motivate you to buy? Or will you then say it is overvalued? The peanut gallery is filled with peanuts for a reason. It takes balls to step up to the plate and swing for the fences. GLTY.
This is very confusing. Is this some kind of positioning in front of the reverse split? Are those unvested shares subject to the R/S? They havent mined a single ounce of gold but have mined a helluva lot of shares imo.
Good news! Still not mining but maybe soon.
Its the gold price. THM is listed on the NYSE and TSX. Pull up a chart of ABX. Same thing. Alltime hi of $55 in 2011 down to a 20 year low today.
Has there been any pr about what this suit is all about?
Yer not kiddin. I just looked at THM and its making new alltime lows at 0.37. 2 years ago it was at $10! Just about every gold stock looks like this.

As I understand it its a closed circuit system that recycles its own water.
Its described at http://www.northbayresources.com/ruby/ at the bottom of the page.
If they take shares instead of salary and dont sell the shares where is the payoff? How did they get paid? They didnt. Their payday is still in the future when the shares are much higher. Prolly they think the shares are worth more at this pps than the cash would be. Very bullish IMO.
NBRI. When cutting and pasting from filings peeps should include all of it and not just part of it out of context to mislead people. Here is another part of the same filing that was left out of the post.
That still does not answer the question. Who is Mario?
NBRI. Peeps have been saying that ever since they first announced the deal. If that was going to happen it would have happened a long time ago.
They started with nothing. No mining claims. No money. Nothing. And they were a non reporting pinkie. That was in 2006. By 2011 they had a lot of properties in Canada but none ready for mining. Thats when they bought the Ruby and became a SEC reporting company the same year. Theyve come a long way in a short time IMO.
Any bets on when the next RS is due? Cant be long with the pps back to .0005. What a travesty. I cant believe the SEC has not shut this down yet.
NBRI. The only guarantees in life are death and taxes. Show me a link to one legit mining company that made a guarantee of anything. A PEA is still a best guess. Proven reserves are not really proven until theyve been mined. Until then their still just a best guess. Theres no guarantees ever. Have you never seen a mining company that had 43-101 reports PEAS and feasibiliy studys coming out of their ears only to later admit that they were wrong. Ooops. LOL! Ever hear of Barkerville Gold? Thats just one example of a big time OOPS. Proven reserves turned out to be not so much. The 90 million ounces they said was proven turned out to be less than 1 million. Thats not a rounding error. And this was supposed to be proven in a PEA. OOPS.
This is a high risk high reward play. Everyone knows that. Everyone knows they have to keep financing the RUby until production starts. The money has to come from somewhere. What do you suggest as an alternative to convertible debt? Even Barrick uses convertible debt.
