No example of a NI 43-101 Compliant Report. That's about it. I don't see any references in any of their reports or marketing materials to the fact that they claim to have an inferred resource. I do believe the property is highly prospective, but not $1 per share in my lifetime.
I have never seen a reference to a NI 43-101 compliant measured, indicated or inferred reserve. Therefore, any reference to billions of dollars in ore is simply pure speculation and fantasy. Please point me in the direction of any such data that may exist. Telling people that 100 billion of ore or even 1 billion of ore exists in the ground is misleading and if anyone buys stock on that basis they have been deceived! If the company supports this kind of promotion, I will sell all of my shares immediately. It is simply not true.
There is a highly prospective property with great potential. Nothing else. This is fact.
I doubt this stock will ever reach a dollar a share. The company is near fully diluted with almost 1B shares O/S. You have to look at achievable thresholds. The market cap would be over a billion dollars for a niobium property, that is in my opinion, pure fantasy. The market will discount back to a npv that is sensible based on dcf once production starts. I don't see the pps moving beyond .50 in my lifetime. There is simply not enough value to warrant a plus 1 dollar pps. imo. If Shining Tree has a gold deposit, that is where the real play would be, but... Every other company operating in that area is broke and their stocks have zero volume and their pps is down. It doesn't look like anything special.
It was obvious manipulation. The lowest PPS trade today had a cash value of $8.70. The drop yesterday was again, obvious manipulation. Maybe someone will sell $8.70 worth of shares at a PPS of $0.01 just because they can. Clearly the market is pricing this at a healthy $0.055 as an expectation of a deal. Filter out the outliers and there you have it.
I talked to them and it is 4% at the time of sale. That's about it. Not sure where the 50,000 number came from. The certificates are tough to clear, so if anyone has a better option, I would love to hear it. Penson won't clear anything under a dime.
Clearing a certificate for a stock that trades below a dime is difficult and made worse by the fact it trades on the PINKS. Brokers such as ACAP charge 7% but can get it cleared. 4% is reasonable, especially if you bought the shares from the company. It is part of the price of buying shares in a private placement. If the stock goes above a dime and isn't traded on the PINKS you would have options, but I think Ontareeo has sourced a good opportunity. I will call myself as I have certificates in other OTC stocks I need to clear. If you think 4% is bad, you likely have tens of millions of dollars and a full service broker who handles this for you, who is actually charging you more, or you have never done it before and will be caught with no stock to sell if this ever runs.
QE3 coming. Buy gold and gold exploration company stocks. Miner's won't move, but the commodities and exploration side, where the margins exist will. Shining Tree has upside and everyone there with the exception of Sarissa is broke.
There may be another reason that the company doesn't want to disclose the financing partner's name and location, even though every person here knows who it is. They splashed it all over their webpage and made a big deal about it. The government of canada has been reviewing every chinese takeover of canadian assets and they likely want to set up a sub company in canada or in the us for the joint venture to try and avoid having the scrutiny of appearing to be a chinese acquisition of a potential strategic asset. There's no way that Scott would announce another deal that could fall through as imo it would be the absolute end of the company which he largely controls.
Thanks for the info, not much in the way of transparency here.
The bid at .0149 was shameful
Metallurgical studies required, confirmation and condemnation drilling, coupled with environmental consultations and studies, Native Indian Relations... 15 million scratches the surface, but gets things moving... Butterfingers and I will be looking for a real announcement...
Anything beyond 15 million will get the company a complete feasibility study and will push this to production. Anything less, regardless of the percentage of ownership is a non announcement. Look for the strength of the partner and their track record. IMO.
It is Friday and still no disclosure with respect to a possible deal. If there was a material transaction, the company is obliged to report it with the SEC in a Form 8-K within 4 days. Are companies who are listed on the Pinksheets required to make full disclosures?
Merle has a lot of connections in the mining world. He doesn't have a technical background from what I can see on his profile on Joshua Gold's web page, but he does seem to have business experience and a pretty good handle on the sector in general.
I originally thought he was tied into Joshua Gold through the Keevil's, but it appears that J. David Mason has joined their advisory board, the former President of Augen Gold, a company Merle also worked for.
There are a lot of good names associated with Sarissa and there seems to be some good interconnected relationships or cross pollenating with seriously successful mining industry people.
It keeps getting more interesting.
The post was on the website of Lenyi Shangdong, the state controlled and funded mining and energy company. I can still access the link. There is no doubt that the photograph and web post are 100% legitimate. This company is acquiring assets and if they buy Sarissa or make an investment there is no question that the Nemegosenda Lake Property will become a mine in short order. The only question remaining in my mind at this point in time is, have they nade a deal? If they have, this will move.
It is obvious that there is momentum moving forward here with the uptick in volume. It is now also obvious that there must be a short interest in SRSR, a fact to which I previously did not adhere, as blatant manipulation to bring the stock price down in extremely small trades are being seen over the last hour. Likely there are shorts who need to cover and are trying to cover themselves. If there is news from China as per the post on the website of one of the largest mining co's in China earlier today, the share price will increase drastically as that company doesn't invest in anything other than a potential mine that they know and will fully finance. I may have to change my tune.
If Scott were able to deliver a deal negotiated with anyone in China in this miserable market for mineral exploration companies for a largely unproven property it would prove to be nothing short of spectacular. If he does, he should be named to the dream team and play in the Olympics.
If there was or is a deal with an investment firm in China or anywhere else for that matter to potentially move this speculative deposit to eventual production, there would be more volume than was exhibited in trading today. imo
SEC filings show that Scott Keevil has developed a working relationship with another company and is loaning that company money and selling it properties from his private hoard. I would look at the possibilities of a new fully reporting company with the advantages that Sarissa never had in being more tightly held and a full board being his next investment. I tried to make a PP there and called Jason Epstein, Joshua Gold's Investor guy. He was quite open about the Keevil family being a shareholder of the company.
Your enthusiasm is appreciated, but in the real world any potential acquirer is likely not going to pay much for the main asset of a company worth 11 give or take a million, total. They will probably demand control and put all of the cash into the ground, which is good for the property and the acquirer, but where does that leave the shareholders?
If there was potential for long term value the PPS would be higher.
I hope something works out, but a not of the optimism appears to be coming from one or two die hards.
I have to disagree. Shining Tree represents one of the most prolific new areas of gold discovery within the stable and mining friendly jurisdiction of the Province of Ontario. The claims that Sarissa possesses title to and has joint venture agreements for, are the most likely to be developed due to their proximity to an all weather highway (right off the road), water and electricity. Their claims also have a near surface potential deposit. The ore could be crushed and leached with cyanide immediately, which is demonstrable from the photos of the quartz with strong mineralization. They have visible gold within the stockwork which is impressive for an area that has been heavily explored.
While I may have issues with the lack of urgency that management demonstrates in moving forward aggressively with financing, I still believe the properties are second to none.
The Keevil family is only second to the Munk family of Barrick Gold in Canada, with the main difference being that the Keevil family has operated since the 40's and has a longer track record. They are well placed and have grown a mining empire by still controlling TECK. The only reason I follow this board is because I cannot figure out for the life of me what a Keevil is doing working in grass roots mineral exploration and not mining, which is compounded by the question of why he is the CEO of a Pink Sheet stock. It is truly baffling.
Someone has to know something that the market doesn't. You don't get a blue chip guy running a 15 million dollar company unless there is a mine in the works.
My reasoning is that their family has known about a lot of properties for a long time and waits until the market is right. My contention is that this would have gone up long ago, but there must have been unforeseen issues with the shell from the start.
It is not typical to have a billionaire by extension as management as CEO and a Harvard PhD as a director on a 15 million dollar company, let alone a 100 million dollar company.
There are a lot of things that don't add up here, including lack of info and failure to drill the whole property.
Given the ethnologue report of the ethnicity in Chapleau Ontario Canada, these appear to be visitors. By their clothing they appear to be from the People's Republic of China. I found the pictures to be the only sign of progress in this company for over 3 years.
I heard from a guy who owns a drilling company that worked on a Sarissa project that when their truck's photo was on a blog they were called and harassed for results and other information that they are not permitted to disclose. Likely the same type of harassment again, but of what appear to be bush road building crews, as that is NHC's main business with over 150 employees. Contractors are tough to find in the middle of nowhere and they could have taken exception to the barrage of calls, when it is likely that a guy who runs a grader all day wouldn't know anything.
IMO
PPS $0.0156, enough said.
Share price says it all yet again. These are not the short numbers this was explained by goldwingeurope. There is no large short position in this stock. Investors are cutting their losses and moving on to one of the thousand other exploration companies that are trying to do something.
Your unwarranted optimism in a company that has no cash or access to it, as proven by the continued failure of financing arrangements, non event news releases and a steadily decreasing share price is unexplainable. The statements surrounding preference to own a company that can't move the property to become a mine and desire to own an exploration company's stock that just keeps the rocks in the ground with no exit strategy or ability to execute is ridiculous IMO.
Everyone knows that their site is contaminated with Uranium and Thorium. John Patrick Sheridan owned this property and never did anything with it. If "Pat" couldn't make it work - nobody ever will!
Niobium is mostly used in steelmaking - to make an alloy. It is an element... An element that nobody cares about. This board is sadly full of people who are dreaming and believing in a lost cause. Maybe if Scott Keevil was the president of enron you would all believe in it too.
Niobium is not gold... It is not platinum, silver or copper for that matter, it is an alloy. This alloy is extremely plentiful and is all over the place and for some conspiratory reason there are only four producing mines in the world? If niobium was actually in demand, would the supply side economics not look completely different? There is only one exploration company out there trying to make a story out of the demand for niobium and they can't tell you the price per pound or the current market demand, because there isn't a compelling demand. How many other companies are out there trying to find a large deposit? NOBODY who is taken seriously because anyone could put a mine on top of any one of the many deposits in the world.
The economics just don't work - that's why there are so many formerly producing mines that are not active currently, nor will they be in the future. Everyone on this board who crows the praises of SRSR has been taken for a ride. A long and cruel ride that will lead to nowhere... Actually Nemegosenda is in the middle of nowhere.
The PPS shows that the markets are perfectly efficient, lots of volume at low prices. The stock is where it should be. For those of you spouting dreams of a 100 billion dollar resource, at what NPV?
Cardinal rule of investing... Never stop questioning why you should invest in a company, especially a stinky pinky like this that has diluted all of it's shareholders, to what end? No information and no increase in PPS. I welcome the responses from the activist shareholders of SRSR!
Really don't see what everybody on this board is so pationate about with this company. If you like losing money - go ahead and buy some more.
Why would anyone bother to short this stock? It is on the pinks for a reason, as they can't even keep the company up to fully reporting standards. A lot of people wasting time and money here hoping and believing In what? A commodity that is one of the most pletntiful on earth? This stuff is everywhere. If the company is looking to spin out the assets - tells you that the shell is finished and has absolutely no value left. Jump ship!
