I ordered shirt from their website last year just to see if they existed. lol. Got the shirt, decent quality. They are in business. Not in the stock anymore, been out a long time. Wondering where the bottom is tho.
buyins.net was on stocktalklive.net talking about CSHD today. I think the show replays at 6:30 eastern. They talked about the squeeze trigger price when it was FHAL before the big run. The buyins guy had some other comments about CSHD and the bonds the sec has in question. Was interesting
The best way to shake shares is to perform a slow leak down. The grind will get folks to step off, slowly one at atime.
Sold 1/3 at 1.03 What a run.
There is a radio interview at the bottom of this page from 2/05.
http://www.ibcnn.com/corporate-reporterHyrf.htm
Well I have listened to them all - that I could find. Please send link for more.
Did not hear that number but he did say MARTI had 8.7 million orders in process(8/9/05)and working toward developing a 25 million sales base in 2006. And Hydroflo sales estimates of 5 million for 2006. And another division with a base revenue of 2 million. And estimates of 20 million for 2007 for Advance Water Recycle division.
In listening to them all though they(MARTI) are at least of interest for our current situation. He has been talking since, June of 2004, about a new EPA requirement of reducing arsenic in drinking water for municipalities that goes in effect January 2006.
Those water pitchers for EYII are not the big revenue hopes here. IMHO
This might work though. Feb 17, 2005
"Metals & Arsenic Removal Technology, Inc. (MARTI) has received an order for a large Arsenic Removal System from an industrial client in the eastern United States."
"The flow rate the unit will treat is in excess of 250,000 gallons per day and can be expanded in size if necessary, due to increased flow. The type of unit designed for this customer can be used in any industry with a need to remove arsenic from their discharge waters. This technology can also be invaluable to municipalities that have the need to eliminate arsenic from drinking water to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency's requirement of maintaining arsenic levels of less than 10 parts per billion by January 26, 2006."
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/050217/081158.html
I had put together some links with the parts I thought were significant. The oldest news links are at the top. Most recent on the bottom tho.
I thought the one on the bottom interesting, where it tells that:
EYI order contains:
"72,000 water filters, pitchers and FATS units"
"total value of the order is to exceed 7.5 million dollars."
----Calculates to $104 bucks each. Profit margin?
Now China can do?
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/050907/094719.html
"The company today announced that approximately 8,000 pitchers and 25,000 filters will begin the initial daily production goal."
25K X $104=$2.6 million a DAY! If that capacity gets filled, that will be decent sales revenue? That's over 200 million a quarter, 800 million a year. Current market cap @ 17 million. Maybe that's why the buying is more than justa board pump or a news letter pump.
At any rate they apear to have production capacity and pricing leeway if this is the product to have. And Patents
"HydroFlo has patented products to remove dangerous contaminants from the use of pedal power to solar power."

"Everyone should be able to obtain clean water. It is our hope that by providing this new technology we can present military servicemen and women, and anyone who is unable to find clean water, an easy, safe, and efficient way to process pure drinking water," commented Moore. "In such extreme conditions as a battlefield, or the devastated areas stricken by the horrific tsunami, the safety of any water supply is critical." Moore explained, "The new FATS(TM) unit can provide the security so desperately needed in these areas."

HydroFlo research, like many of the world's scholars believe that water can overcome hunger, disease, poverty, and improve the overall quality of life on earth. WSJ's article further confirms these principal beliefs. "The need for clean water knows no borders," explains Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. HydroFlo has patented products to remove dangerous contaminants from the use of pedal power to solar power. The Company has established a core product base that can ensure that everyone in the world, with limited access to clean water, can obtain it in abundance.

Additionally, an agreement was executed licensing MARTI to begin distribution of the KELLY proprietary systems which provide a method to pump water through the filter media and the Arti-64(TM), MARTI's arsenic removal system, by means of foot or hand controls. The distribution will include all areas of North, Central, and South America. The KELLY non-electric system is a manually operated water treatment "platform" that will provide significant quantities of potable water safe from bacteriological and arsenic contaminated water anywhere -- particularly in the hundreds of thousands of villages in the world without electricity.
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/050329/083542.html
Original laboratory tests conducted by internal methods uncovered significant decreases in bacterial levels in drinking water once filtered through the ARTI-64™ media. To confirm results, MARTI commissioned Microbac Laboratories to conduct a blind study of ARTI-64™, which confirmed initial results. Each bacteria was tested individually and both Coliform and E. coli, were added to the sample at approximate levels of 1000 parts per million (ppm). Once treated with ARTI-64™, each was significantly reduced to only 30 ppm. Staphylococcus Aureus, commonly known as staph., was found to have a concentration of 117,000 ppm. Once filtered with the ARTI-64™, staph. bacteria was reduced to non-detectable levels.

RALEIGH, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 31, 2005 -- HydroFlo, Inc. (OTC BB:HYRF.OB - News) today announced that its portfolio company, Metals & Arsenic Removal Technology, Inc. (MARTI) has received the first order of arsenic removal media (ARTI-64™) from Kelly International (KELLY). The amount shipped to KELLY will provide enough media for use in approximately 5000 or more non-electric foot-powered purification units, which can be used in Kelly's intended market area, including: India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, western Africa and New Zealand.
The KELLY non-electric foot-powered system is a manually operated water treatment "platform" that will provide significant quantities of potable water safe from bacterial and arsenic contamination anywhere -- particularly in the hundreds of thousands of villages throughout the world that are without electricity. Providing this system with the ARTI-64™ media will make a water purification unit available in all areas of need, even if they do not have access to electric power.
The United Nations (U.N.) cited the vital need for clean water as an international concern that must be addressed immediately (http://www.un.org/waterforlifedecade). Kofi Anan, Secretary General of the U.N., in his 2005 World Water Day Address, called the crisis, "...an urgent matter of human development, and human dignity."
According the Russell Kelly, principal of Kelly, "Our purpose for joining forces with MARTI has been to find a way to accomplish one of the stated purposes of the United Nations. That task is to free people from the daily chore of hauling water, often over great distances. With the ARTI-64™ media used in our non-electric powered water treatment unit, we feel that we have made great strides toward helping regions that are in need of clean water."

HydroFlo Water Treatment Unveils New Industrial Treatment System
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/050718/090985.html
AWRI will initially concentrate sales efforts of its technologies across the United States coast lines and all ports. To achieve the acceptable levels of contaminant free water in compliance with Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards, AWRI will utilize multiple aspects of each of HydroFlo's current portfolio companies. AWRI will make use of HydroFlo Water Treatment's aeration and new HDAF units to offer the proper ventilation and conditions for the pretreatment of wastewater. Metals and Arsenic Removal Technology will provide its ARTI-64TM technology and other purification methods to assist with the final purification of the water. Safety Scan Technology will offer water testing equipment for the various stages of the process. Ultra Choice Water will offer financing to assist in the payment process for customers. The combined technologies will turn untreated storm water, ground water, water run-off, sewage, wastewater and any pretreated water into potable drinking water.
A coastal region of North Carolina has fostered the initial interest for AWRI services. This particular request is to start treatment of 70 million gallons of water per day for the next 10 years. This has propelled HydroFlo to take action and offer the necessary services to assist the region with their treatment difficulties. The Florida Senate Bill 444 (http://www.flsenate.gov/Session/index.cfm?Mode=Bills&SubMenu=1&Tab=session&BI_Mode=ViewB.... has also provided an area of need for water treatment by offering a funding level allotment of $100 million annually.

EYI Expands Pitcher and Filter Order From MARTI
The amended agreement includes approximately 72,000 water filters, pitchers and FATS units to be supplied by MARTI monthly for the remainder of 2005 through June 2006. These will each be privately labeled with a special formulation for EYI distribution. The total value of the order is to exceed 7.5 million dollars.
Got the shirt ordered 8/27/05. Looks good, fits fine. Not bad $15 bucks shipping and all.
Wonder if the NO shipyard woes will make the west cost shipyards more active and help VLXC cause they are already coming in from there most likely.
FWIW
Ever to try to buy something from that catalog?
The site just led me to a non active web page.
I did get a shirt ordered this week. They call you in a few days for the payment method information. But I did not know that would happen I thought it just dead ended.
Now shipping. Guess I'll see.
It does seem that this one will get market cap valued properly by dilution instead of stock price increase.
That is interesting isn't it. Looking over the other representatives, not many others except investment related companies. Maybe ROYL being there is for exposure, otherwise it is a curious fit for VLXC to be there. Well they definitely believe in shows to get the name out there. Guess that is what it takes in the apparel business. Oh well, may be for the best who knows.
http://www.dcmoneyshow.com/ms/dcms/exhibits.asp#
Wonder how that's going?
This one wasn't even on the tradeshow calendar.
http://www.veltexapparel.com/PDF/TradeShowCalendar.pdf
Being a holder of some of these shares(VLXC) and continuing to keep some in the hope that this stock price will still make a higher low on this recent decline. However gradual that higher low might be. Now that I said that it will make and lower low and then shoot on up :)
There is another stock that recently caught my eye(TYRIA.OB). As with most huge and seemingly insurmountable problems(Sarbanes- Oxley compliance) in America, someone comes up with a solution.
Here is a segment from the last quarterly report from TYRIA. A BB stock.
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/050513/nyf047.html?.v=8
"...Meller said, "Our sales are rapidly growing. Market acceptance of our MAPADOC EDI solution is exceptional, and we are seeing results of our MAS 500 initiatives. We are working on becoming a significant participant in Sarbanes- Oxley compliance. Our deal flow for potential acquisitions continues to grow. In summary, we are extremely optimistic about the future and look forward to delivering superior financial results in the coming quarters.""

Trey Resources Announces Major Assignment In Lucrative Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Market; To Conduct SOX Technology Audit For $400 Million Nasdaq Company
Trey Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TYRIA - News) announced today that SWK Technologies, its wholly owned subsidiary, has been awarded a contract to conduct a technology audit for Columbus McKinnon Corporation, a Nasdaq National Market company, as mandated by the new Sarbanes-Oxley legislation. These audits represent a new and rapidly growing profit center for SWK.
SWK Technologies anticipates completing many such audits in order to assist public companies in complying with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. The company has recently added more professionals to ensure that the company is properly staffed for the rapidly growing demand for its services.
And

Sarbanes - Oxley (SOX) IT Audits
SWK Technologies has completed several technology audits for public companies as mandated by the new Sarbanes-Oxley legislation, and views this as a high growth opportunity for the company. Sarbanes-Oxley was enacted largely in response to the large number of corporate and accounting scandals in the last few years, and establishes new standards for corporate accountability as well as penalties for corporate wrong doing. Compliance with SOX begins with management’s assessment of its internal controls over financial reporting, a complicated and expensive process. Forty-eight percent of public companies that need to comply with SOX will spend at least $500,000 on compliance, according to finance executives who participated in a recent CFO magazine survey.
FWIW, maybe one of these companies will really be able to report and really have profits that are verifiable.
Everyone has raised such credibility issues with VLXC.
One thing I did is to go to the Tradeshows calendar on the company web site. It is a PDF file to scroll down through.
http://www.veltexapparel.com/PDF/TradeShowCalendar.pdf
Then go to the tradeshow websites and look through the exhibitor list.

http://www.asishow.com/PastShows/2005Dallas/DA05IndexD.html
FWIW I at least did find them on the exhibitor list of the upcoming shows.
Here's a map of the company address. Anyone know if they really exist there?
It appears that some of the skeptisim of right on the money and some is not. JMHO
This really does not get to the point tho. After Enron and all their manipulation, their assets, pipelines, and market making control went to Goldman Sachs, who got it for song. Now oil markets and oil news are controlled by the real professionals who know how to manipulate markets and make the world believe it. We were better off with the 'good ole boys' fumbling around with this. This current situation is only limited by the amount of greed the Wall Street brokerages can stand themselves with. Oil much higher.
IMO

Trying to get some idea what this thing thing might reasonably be able to do in market cap.
Looking at some other apparel companies lage and small.
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/320mktu.html
PE's are quite conservative, 13-20 or so for profitable solid companies.
Market cap to sales also conservative. Market cap generally not running much over about one year revenue.
That said the charts are going up on the most "in" clothing companies. Pretty selective tho as fashions can really hit the store sales outlooks. As in DECK etc.
Here's a reporting company(BFLY) with 46M in sales and 15M OS. Similar size. 36M market cap. With sales growing but no profit, only losses narrowing.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=BFLY
Chart
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/javachart/javachart.asp?symb=bexp&time=&freq=
Last few weeks volume is up in some tho. Like VLXC's is.
IF INTC sets the pace, maybe some AH gold positions will work for tomorrow. Many are near the top of hourly and daily ranges.
Guess INTC s'pecting a quarter like a growing vending company. Just not quite fast enuf :)
