Looks like 500K block just went thru....
Thats great. I love reading years old PR's.
Must be good sign then considering CD was recently buying.
True...but I see nothing in co history that would suggest they will have problems raising funds (regardless of affect on share structure). I also expect by the time this bull is well on last leg we will see much much higher valuations oz/ground for explorers. Likely opposite extreme. But these will be the last to move. Key is being able to survive until then. Only those w the goods will & i believe EXS does. Best thing for this market currently would be higher gold prices. Need to clear 1800 first to inject some life back into gold community.
Bottom line based on 1.5M oz 43-101 one can buy shares for $12 oz ground. Many of us recognize the potential this co has. The dilution occurring necessary to raise $ to realize that potential will ultimately affect price / share. But I fully expect when all said & done share price will be much higher than where it is today.
I imagine all weak hands are gone by now.
They can go cry to McC. I'm a joining u guys on buy!
Understood...but only after stock being down 90% after stringing them along entire year. Who really knows what he's actually doing here? He could be telling subs to sell while he's buying for all we know.
Sure has. For those with cash & who have been able to accumulate over past year I believe looking back will prove to have been a very good year. There are times for buying and times for selling. IMO...now is not the time for the latter. All a matter of perspective. Unfortunately such periods can last much longer than we like. This is where I believe McC has done terrible misservice to many of his subscribers who have been decimated.
Yes and his first SELL was @ 12c :)
Yup PB...this guy seems to do his research after the fact. I find him lacking insight. Rule seems to be one of the few astute ones in this arena, McC not worth the time or money. I say good riddance!
McC is a fade! He clearly has little experience in resource space, combine that with poor timing. Recommend buying from $1 to 15c, then sell @ 12c??? Makings of a market loser. Good luck to those following him.
PVG sitting on monster deposit with one of the best managements around. Significant difference between them and EXS is something that has always appealed to me regarding this property...infrastructure. Major looking at multi billion dollar infrastructure buildup with PVG. Point still taken regarding valuation.
If memory serves me it was a $1.5b deal @ $13 share
So I'm estimating around 120m shares
I'm betting those who wanted out for whatever the reason, already are.
Interesting to see if McC follows up with any comments as he planned to talk to CD regarding concerns over management clout.
Good luck with that bozo's analysis...
Recent lows had all the makings of major market bottom.
Shorting bull markets is not the road to riches.
Could someone in contact with CD please forward that letter to him.
Piece with some LT charts to provide some perspective....

elcaribes....this entire sector been beaten down, not just EXS. There were many explorers that were in pennies that recovered nicely during the '08 debacle. My largest holding went from 30c to over $4. CD is doing what he has to do in this rough environment.
Tom...that is the sentiment and level of despair that many are feeling at present. The makings of a major sector bottom. Those selling now will be chasing later. Do yourself a favor, turn the computer off for a while. Biggest mistake investment community makes is 99% try to predict their way through these markets, professionals simply respond. Personally I never would have envisioned EXS trading at these levels, but here we are. IMO this creates fantastic opportunity, for those willing to step up. Patience will be rewarded with this one. Can bet I've got my $ where my mouth is. Hang in...
Discouraging that an explorer continues to want to drill???
You guys seem to be very confused. eom
STR8...spoke to CD? Did you get a good vibe from him?
Regarding the plan, shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, thats what explorers do. :)
With you Destinator...that's why I'm here as well.
I believe EXS will emerge from this rout and prove to be one of the winners. For those of you who feel otherwise, maybe it's time for you to sell and move on. The market doesn't care about complaining & finger pointing..
gharma...My comment was not necessarily targeted at you. I apologize if it came across personal. What I'm referencing is the reality that when the stock was just at 70-80-90c last year we didn't see the negativity, skepticism, disdain, etc that we do now. It was all "pie in the sky" & folks buying every little dip cause Greg McC has it on his list, etc. Now the stock is down significantly...it might just be the right time to be accumulating???. That of course if you still buy the story and feel CD is competent enough to bring it. Take a look around what's become over the last few months with the juniors, esp the explorers. CD could have been pulling elephants out of his ass and I don't think it would have made a difference. Speculation & froth have been removed from market. Many companies will be gone. One of the toughest environments in years to raise money. IMO, there will come a time when expl will be highly valued for the gold they have in the ground, were not there yet. For the meantime, I view this as an opportunity to currently pick up shares in a company for about $20 an ounce of gold, that imo will be one of those that emerge from these tough times. It's these cycles & investor psychology that remains timeless...
Man...where was all this bearishness & skepticism when the stock was trading close to a buck???? Now that the stocks taken 80+% haircut folks are wondering where's a good entry. Market psychology never ceases to amaze me!
Bywisdom...Thanks again for that f/u
Best to you!
THANKS! Bywisdom
When you see a whole sector taken down the way the miners have been over the last few months in the face of Improving fundamentals in select companies (and improving fundamentals in underlying metal) = OPPORTUNITY!
Investing in explorers is a risky endeavour, but can be highly rewarding. Not an arena for cry babies and finger-pointers. Like the ol saying, if you can take the heat...
Good luck!
Hey Pastorboy...time to re-read your post in sticky above. what's changed????? They added ~200K oz over 6mo period. Appear to have better results this year so far, even if they match that 1st & 2nd half of 2012, they're looking @ ~1.5M ounces by end 2012.
I would urge you guys to take another look at the holes from 2nd half of last year. Where you all really expecting millions of ozs in this release?
There was no wind to begin with. There are much greater forces at play affected this stock (and many others) than any mine report. All gonna come down to what Chris can show for this year & an improving environment for explorers...
Well got 1M ounces Au thru 2011.
Old news in a sense, market surely wasn't anticipating anything major coming from this update. Let's see if they can double that # this year and draw some major interest!
Gotcha...no problem. Thanks!
Any way to post it here?
Thanks
Dest...Was this a recent report of theirs???
No one has put a gun up to any ones head and told them to buy. You guys all have something to add to this board. I really hope can all stop with the personal bickering...it's all BS. I really don't post much here but I appreciate some valuable info folks share. Best...
Although I don't buy into the whole "manipulation" thang or could care less about character assasination. I do agree with a lot of what you said. In this market the baby being thrown out with the bath water. Apparently many are hoping for some glory hole that will send the stock up to $2 overnight. I believe Chris is doing a fantastic job in this extremely difficult environment. Have enough cash to drill for another year & keeps hitting gold, that's something not be taken for granted these days considering position of many other juniors. I believe we're getting very close to extremely significant bottom in this arena and Explor will eventually emerge from the depths of despair. BTW...this is the time to be buying, not when the stock is at 70c and being hyped by McCoach et al. Hang in there folks...
Hole #65...anybody take note of depth???
Just added another 50K today @ 17c
GLTA
Destinator....my valuation comment had nothing to do w/ potential buyout price or value based on the potential of this land package It was simply in reference to posts in which few seeing $2+/share based solely on calculations using ~250K au from resource report.
I normally don't posts on these type message boards (been a lurker for some time now), but this exsff board has remained civil and informational. I appreciate the sharing of info and communication w/ management. Keep up the good work!
From an interview w/ Mickey Fulps...
As an analyst, I often use 10% of gold's worth as a fair valuation for gold exploration companies. Notice I am saying, "what gold is worth," not "what the gold price is," because that is dependent on the U.S. dollar.
http://www.theaureport.com/pub/na/6167
As far as the gold/ground valuation, one can find comparison charts in many explorer company presentations. Typically I consider trading @ $50/Au ground to be cheap.
Explorers in general are currently trading at comparable valuations to 08 crisis levels. For the record I hold 75K shares so I got some skin in the game. I see the potential here.
Lets assume 282K Au w/ 134M shares.
282K x $1600 (gold price) = $451M
Fair valuation would be 10% of that figure.
Which would be approx $45 Million
Current market cap using $.31/share is $41M.
Another way to look at valuation is Au/ground.
Would be trading @ ~$145 oz/ground...not cheap.
Bottom line. EXS is not undervalued solely based on 282K gold #.
Not bashing here, but trying to be realistic.
