Joe I don't deny there are issues thus were trading at small Market cap. That and car junkyards are not the sexy I suppose vs some brain wave picker upper interface device that can transmit your thoughts to a computer or some other sexy idea that will print millions and billions of shares and never actually produce anything. and I suppose short term thinkers will bail cause we're not running.( no fun for them ) Longer term thinkers and folks who see a turn around will buy their shares and make money if the profitable Qs continue. As debt will be paid and reduced in the longer term. In my opinion. When I would start to worry is when profitable quarters continue, but debt is not paid Intel then I give him the benefit of the doubt and place my bets!!
And to answer your question.
"why does Asif issue a press release stating he is profitable when they have $1M in ACCOUNTS PAYABLE and owe FEDERAL TAXES!"
Why would he not announce it.??
Its a very positive result for the Q and shows the company is turning things around. I don't get you some times.
sometimes you bring up valid points and you seem intelligent like you know whats going on.. but then you make a post like the one you just did. and its complete negative BS and completely full of nonsense.
For example You say:
They have $2,000.00 IN CASH to pay millions of dollars IN CURRENT LIABILITIES.
Really?? cash changes day to day. That is what he had on the day he did the Q. he also has 700K out there that will be coming in addition to hopefully continued profitable Q's That is what he will use to pay off the debt. That's how it works.
Here it is in simple accounting 101 terms..
Past: Negative cash flow, expenses were more then income, to survive, need to borrow cash to keep things going and weather the storm ( low steal prices ect.) accumulated dept due to negative cash flow.
Current: Made changes to organization. Now cash flow positive. Will use positive cash flow plus accounts receivable to pay off the debt over time.
Simple..
IMOH
Your mixing things up as well Joe.
He is profitable for this Q..and that is a vast improvement over the past and is news worthy. In the past Q's his cost of doing business was more then the value of good/products sold. But again this is a theoretical number. Cash flow is a cycle.
Sell the product now, pay the expenses now, book the revenue now, receive the income later.
Use incoming revenue from past receivables to continue the cycle.
The $$ he has coming in now could have been from sales 2 Q's ago. Thus the problem. Money coming in lags money going out, and since they were losing $$ over the past Q's to make up the short fall they have to borrow, but the upside with this Q is .. they are no longer losing $$ they showed a profit so a few months from now when those $$ start coming in they will have $$ to pay back the loans they had to take out now.
and that is accounting and business 101 you all seem to think that this stuff all happens in a week or two. Companies will run payment terms of 30,60,90 days..
And to be fair, they have 700K in receivables to pay there liabilities.
and that will grow and they will have $$ to pay there liabilities if they continue to show a profit.. Plain and simple. Accounting 101 as you put it.
Short term ?? ya it sucks. they have to borrow.. Long term.. that is the question and if the trend continues ( profit) then they have no worries.
I dont disagree with you. But to be fair, what ones intentions are, and what they actually do or can do or have to do to survive are two different things.
I think he intended to get better terms, but was not able to. He has been losing money for the last couple years. So im sure the loan sharks are the only ones willing to lend him $$ to keep things going.
He needs to get his receivables down and get some of that turned into cash to pay off these loans. Until he does that, he has no choice but to borrow $$ to keep revenue producing activities going. And if convertible debt is all he has access to, well what can he do. He states in the Q he is trying to find better terms and restructure it. But if no one offers better he is kinda stuck. Only other option is to shut the doors to stop any new expenses/debts, sit and wait for the receivables to come in, and pay the debt off, But then he has no future revenue stream as now he has shut the doors for 6 month or what ever.. Its the damn business cycle ...LOL.. anyway.. I hope that if he can show potential lenders that he is now turning a profit vs continued losses, that he should be able to find better terms. it will take time unfortunately , and is not going to happen over night. Thus his 5 year plan.
Your confusing profit with cash on hand.
Profit is what they made this Q after costs of sales and expenses and is a line item on the balance sheet or profit/loss statement of the Q, It is a theoretical number.
Cash is what they have in there hands or in the bank at this given moment.
So to your question, where did the approximately 250K of profit go???
Receivables. Their Receivables are up to 1,041,085 from 395K this time last year. That means they have almost 700K out there owed to them. But they don't have it in there hands to pay off a note that was due this month.
If some how they all of the sudden cleared up all there receivables tomorrow, yes then they would have 700K in cash to pay off debts. But that is not the case. They may not actually receive that 250K for months until who ever they sold the products and materials pays them. Not sure what there terms are for payment.. Most companies run net 30, 60 or even 90 days to make payments.
Make sense ?? again the good part about all this is.. THEY MADE A PROFIT vs a loss. So if they can keep doing that,( making a profit) eventually the will have the cash on hand to pay off the debt. there is unfortunately a delay in Booking a profit on the Q and actually receiving the $$$$ from the customers.
So Don.t get to crazy with the idea that they had 250K laying around to stop these conversions.. They don't
Ya.. Trying to understand JOE.. One day.. he is down on this.. the next.. he is buying because he analyzed the break up value and came to the conclusion it was why higher then the current price.. now again.. he is down on it because they are using there assets as collateral on loan. ( Same comments he was making after last Q)
back and fourth, back and fourth. Nothing has changed here OTHER then a Profit.. and that is huge.. You can pay off a lot of debts with 250K right???? Companies and people borrow all the time and use assets as collateral. The ability to PAY OFF THE LOAN is the issue, and if they are turning a profit.. that means they can pay off the loan right?? How many people actually own their home or car 100% Initially. Usually they use the value to secure a loan , make payments on the loan until it is paid off. Why is GNPT using there assets to secure a loan any different. If they are turning a profit and can make payments and progress on the debt principal, then eventually the loans will be paid off. IMOH.
I dont disagree with you on that point. Obviously someone is selling off their postion.
Time will tell i guess. Glty.
All fine and your point is taken..We can read but this is NOT proof of anything other then your opinion. And what about the part "at equity valuations above our current market capitalization"
If they replaced it with this local investment group, at Valuations above current market cap.. which at the time was much higher then it is now.. why the heck would they be selling down here.. Sorry but it doesn't add up.
IMOH.
Joe you state things as fact when its really just your educated guess.
Either way some one is converting or selling. Pretty easy to see that.
Glty.
Its a good plan if it goes to 2's... everything is relative. He has his limits and trading plan. You may not agree, but its not your money dude. So, you do your thing.. he will do his. !! GLTY. Hoping for a recovery here.
Grrr.. hate it when i step out for a day.. Come back and missed a huge buying opp.. Oh well.. Let see how quick we recover !!
This person could have been collecting shares for a while now, and finally went over 5% with in the last 10 Days.
So they had to file.
Obviously they didnt buy them all at once.. LOL
Owners of 5% or more can file a 13G in place of at 13D if they claim exempt under rules. Here is some info.. I left some parts out that were not related to this 13G.. But he marked 13d-1(c) so appears they are not a toxic finance co or institutional. Looks like a privet investor.
Here is a link to the info if you want to read more detail.
http://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=41a16a1b-a159-409c-98ad-39051b7f4753
" A beneficial owner of more than 5 percent of an outstanding class of equity securities of an issuer is required, pursuant to Section 13(d) of the Exchange Act, to file either a Schedule 13D or 13G with the SEC. The Schedule 13G is a short-form statement that certain investors are permitted to use. The Schedule 13D contains significantly more information than the Schedule 13G.
Determining Schedule 13G Eligibility
In order to qualify to use the Schedule 13G, a holder must fit into an exemption contained in either Rule 13d-1(b), (c) or (d).
Rule 13d-1(b) is the “Institutional Investor” exemption
Rule 13d-1(c) is the “Passive Investor” exemption and provides that holders who (1) have not acquired the securities with any purpose, or with the effect, of changing or influencing the control of the issuer (or in connection with or as a participant in any transaction having that purpose or effect), (2) are not an “Institutional Investor” defined in the “Institutional Investor” exemption
Rule 13d-1(d) is the “Exempt Investor” exemption
Schedule 13G Filing Deadlines
For holders relying on the “Passive Investor” exemption, the initial Schedule 13G must be filed within 10 days after the acquisition of more than 5 percent of a class of securities.
Just need to get thru the 7s with some volume and hold there. Would think the amount of shares available at 7's would diminish here soon.. Big asks keep popping up though.. frustrating.. LOL
Don't know.. but ya. at least we have some peeps willing to smack that ask back if some one tries to drive it down and scare people out of there shares.
I was thinking it was JOE, but by his post sounds like he's just waiting for impatient sellers.
Good luck to ya Spuds, I'm here with ya Brotha. Hope this bad boy pans out the way we think it will. !!
Probably. No reason not to at this time. No demand persay, so might as well sit the bid and wait for impatient sellers. Smart trading IMOH If he's looking to buy 3.5 mil or more shares again, hitting the bid will send it higher, which at this time is not in his best interest. If he moves his bid up higher.. then that might trigger some peeps to buy at the ask. and again.. push it up higher.. So we wait. If news comes. well. things will change in a hurry. LOL
GLTY
Good luck joe If break up is 08 to 12.. all is good either way in GNPT land.
Not really a shake out.. Some one wanted to close there postion as they were tired of waiting this out. So they dumped into the bid. We trade about 200k shares here a day at this point.. Unload 350 K into the bid and your going to cause it to drop. The sky is not falling. Just some folks wanting out quickly.. IMOH good bying op..
not much of a pump.. mostly dump.. good luck all ..
Yep. ! Play as you see fit. Just passing on the info. Could get a nice run . Or could just get dumped on. Time will tell. Might grab a few just in case
Watch for the pump and dump on this. Just received an alert on this from damn good penny picks. Looks like someone wants to unload some shares! This was in the disclaimer.

Never mind... lol..
was 68k now someone added 400k grrr.
Looks like .007 is the new line in the sand. Can we break thru it today? really thin at the moment !
Yep, 5% a day is what we need. nice slow climb. No crazy 100% up 75% down days.. to stressfull. LOL
Nice day.. From a techical standpoint.. .0065 was resistance. Broke it a couple times today and at end of day with a .0069.. then some one threw 30K more out there at .0065.. See if we can stay above it... then .0085 is next .. see ya monday !
Its here because this is the pink sheets and no one cares about the fundimentals of a company. Only the momentum and hype. Most people dont look to the pink sheets to find stocks with good fundementals that are undervalued to invest in. They look for momentem or hype to trade or flip.
Right now, no momentum, or hype. So we sit and wait until something gets more eyes on this.(Positive news) then we move and get a few more longerterm folks involved. which shoudl help support new higher valuations.
Cant really compare fundimentals on any OTC stock. Its all about the hype and Buzz on most of them. But I agree with your last point. I feel Safe with GNPT. I dont see this being one of those Smoke and mirrors hyped up stocks that you have to play HOT POTATO with. Meaning, buy some on the hype, and sell to the next quy quickly before you get burnt or get left holding the bag. At least at this level. We are at Long term trend line support and should continue to creep up. I like 5% a day gains. doesnt induce much panic buying..which in turn doesnt cause panic selling. Boring as heck to watch though. But as they say slowy and steady wins the race.
GLTU!
One thing to keep in mind that I think sums things up here and that is POTENTIAL. The OTC BB is all about potential and hype. Look back the the insane runs of the MMJ stocks. Mention your stock was involved with MMJ and it was off to the races. Joe keeps pointing out some valid issues with this stock. But JOE.. it used to trade at .20, now its at .005 there is reason for that. They had some issues. You keep pointing out all the reasons this stock was were it was. We on the other hand are looking at what is happening and seeing where it is POTENTIALLY going to go. To that end the fact that it has infrastructure, and assets and revenue and a 15 year track record of growth and is a actual operational business, with a plan for expansion puts it miles ahead of 99% of the junk on the OTCBB that is just a shell or some idea with no revenue, huge debt, no building, just a mail box, no sales bla bla bla. If they (GNPT)had all there issues resolved, this would already be back up in the multi pennys. I think the point that ANIA77 and the rest of us are trying to point out to new peeps is that there is actually something here to invest in. and at .005 IF they get their stuff figured out this is a no brainer. This is not a pump and dump flash in the pan quick mover that will go up 1000% one day, then dump 2000% the next The only reason it did this a few weeks ago was due to the traders pushing it up to fast, then all exiting at the same time due to panic, So thanks for pointing out the past failings and issues and why GNPT went from .20 to sub penny. But please also agree that they have made progress to right the ship and things are looking better. Thats why were here. IMOH GLTU !!
Joe, if you have been around as long as you say you have.. then you know there are diffrent types of MM's. Some are selling stock for 3rd parties or the company , some are just making a market for retail. We have not seen any "KNOWN" MM's that are commonly used to sell stock when dillution is occuring (VFIN,VERT,VNDM,PERT ect) MAXM shows up the other day.. so assumption that they are the ones liquidating the 3.2 mil shares. But that is just an assumpiton. Makes some sense though as these shares recently came off restriction.
I think the point was that most retail MM's dont hold much if any stock. At least in OTC Pinky land. IMHO and i coudl be wrong.
GNPT reversal in progress. Check out the chart. At Long term trend line support. Great time to accumulate for run back to .02 IMHO.
Exactly. This is the trick, then have the patience to wait for the heard to come to you !!
lol
I think i can hear a stampede in the distance.. its comming.
Volume has dried up because there is no interest in this stock at this time. OTC traders havea heard mentality. People flock to the hot stocks with volume or price action or news or some catalyst that is causing them to move. Right now, were stable and in accumulation mode. Kinda like before the previous run up. Really doubt it has anything to to do with MM's IMHO
GNPT : consolidation about over grab some here at .006 support while you can ! News expected down the road shortly IMOH
Smart investing/trading = Add at support when no one is intersted or wants it. ( Like now) sell when its hot and everbody is fighting to get it. ( later when some news comes) Hard to wait for that spark to get it moving some times. But thats the easy way to do it.. vs trying to get in and out quick of some current hot moving stock. Thats were i usually get burnt.. lol
GLTU
Low float stock, people with large positions all try to exit at once. People trying to catch a bounce, then selling again becuse it didnt quickly bounce.( No patience) Some people holding waiting for bounce, but now moving on ( low float stock, moves quick up and down) Just the normal ups and down of a stock, but since this is low float, moves are exaggerated. IMHO..
Doesn't matter. It's after trading hours. Won't know till Monday what it opens at.
lol ok. Thanks. I don't post to much. Better to read and listen and learn then shoot off your mouth and end up with your foot in it. Lol. Take care !
Yes.. i have been around a while. LOL. Dont claim to be an expert at this by any means, and still have more to learn.
I Keep my TA to pretty basic stuff. I look for Trend lines.. Long term(LT), Medium term MT) and short term (ST) Use the RSI and MACD STOC and 200,50, 20 MA's for longer termm and 5, 10 for MT and ST. US RSI for over or under sold, MACD for trend changes.. ect.
as long as we can maintine a uptrend in the Long term, we good.
take care !
Don't really have any specific sights to point you to. It's just stuff I have read and learned over the years. And keep trying to relearn lol. The biggest piece of advice is when your up take some profits. Always always always. I don't know how many times I have been up on a trade then held thinking it's going higher and ended up having to sell even or for a loss. If your up and not sure of where the stock is going. Sell half. That way if it tanks you still have some profit. If it continues up you still get to make more $$. Simple stuff but most forget it in the heat of a bull run!
"matter of a little patience" is the key. There is none in the penny stock world. Its all about the quick flip. With most that is. ONce this turns, the herd will pile back in. Not so sure thats a good thing LOL..
