They should hire me.
I'll answer the phone and respond to eMails.
I have zero confidence in GDTK.
It's a shame because I love the technology.
Doing a R/S without revenue or verifiable progress toward it is going to send GDTK bag-holders (i.e., me) to the bottom of the bucket.
They can make agreements and say they're going to do this or that and that's all perfectly great but it doesn't mean a single god-forsaken thing until those dollar bills start showing up from revenue.
If they cannot show that units are in place and operational, somewhere, EVEN A SINGLE ONE, this upcoming R/S will be the final nail in the coffin for anyone retaining shares.
Someone actually answered the phone, eh?
Sounds like cutting the cancer out of the company has resulted in new growth.
We shall see.
That's not quite accurate. We have been invaded before.
The Japs invaded Alaska.
Recapture exhaust?
In the automotive world it's widely used with turbocharger systems.
The exhaust comes from the engine, through a specially designed exhaust manifold which turns a turbine before exiting the automobile as normal.
Capturing exhaust gas and using it for something beneficial is nothing new at all.
If GDTK & their buddies can get actual production units operational that are not simply pilot units working and nothing disastrous happens with them ... it should perk some ears and raise some eyelids around the world.
A lot is hanging on getting production units running so people around the world can take notice.
IMO, of course.
I would be hesitant to believe 100% what GDTK is going to do in the immediate future with zero revenue occurring and the China conference having not yet happened and been attended.
Revenue could move the stock to some degree, not sure how much. All PG&E coming online and drawing revenue will likely move GDTK, but by how much again, not sure.
The thing that could likely change GDTK's immediate outlook is the conference in China and whatever resulting PR from GDTK.
I say that because some Chinese companies could become interested in GDTK and pull Bo off to the side after the conference and have a particularly interesting conversation with him that everybody here would love to be a fly on the wall during the discussion that could have a sizable impact on the company. Wouldn't even need to be Chinese companies, could be any company attending from around the world. Could be one from home in the USA for all we know.
Just sayin', speculation I admit. But what has been said on the webinar is in no way concrete, IMO.
I'm looking for a positive outlook nonetheless.
So ...
Anyone care to enlighten me, what other companies are pushing technology like the sort that GDTK has?
Somebody would have had to put in a market buy to pick up those shares below 0.0001 then, yes?
Isn't there a chance to put in a market buy and you end up getting shares at 0.0002+ when the price never moves above 0.0001 otherwise?
PPG = PG&E.
I said PPG didn't I. I'm a dumbass. D'oh!
Furthermore ...
I'm in the publishing industry, there will likely be a lot of media attention regarding the PPG units going online. Just with some of the recent PR's, small bits of media have covered it.
But 6 units going online should draw substantial attention.
It all depends on 'if' GDTK can execute their business plan.
Only way R/S can be avoided ...
is if the PPG units get brought online and draw a lot of attention which moves GDTK. Al, Bo & Co. may step back and realize they don't have to do it.
The future depends on the PPG units going online in a timely fashion.
Can they do it?
Bo said if the bond offering goes well that they may do a R/S across the board, common shares and preferred shares. And if they do a R/S, GDTK will be uplisted to a different exchange.
I wonder what exchange GDTK are up-listing to? Anyone have any idea, or what the logical one would be?
All R/S crap aside what is paramount is that the technology delivers and everyone will know in the coming months after units get rolling.
People will line up like flies to horse crap buying GDTK if the units don't blow up, generate power as advertised, and naturally ... draw revenue.
All of GDTK's side-ventures beyond the waste to heat units are a bonus.
It's a long term play. People wanting to flip for a buck should look elsewhere. It does have the potential for something truly great, though.
I think Bo really meant it when he didn't want a R/S.
But considering that many brokerages won't even allow people to buy the stock - well, times change. It has become necessary, evidently.
I understand the reasoning behind it. Not so sure I like it. But I understand it.
Must be getting close to .0002
Bashers are out on the prowl.
Hell I hope it stays 0.0001 until the first revenue is generated so I can continue accumulating it at the bottom of the barrel.
I've been holding this bag since SMWF. I don't care. This thing is going to go haywire inevitably. Hopefully the bashers keep bashing away, that's in my best interest. Money don't lie once revs get underway.
"Because of the design of the system and refrigerants used, the device can use heat energy to make steam at lower temperatures than a conventional water boiler, potentially opening up more efficient electricity production from heat sources such as concentrated solar thermal arrays, geothermal and industrial exhaust stacks, according to an advice letter combustion researcher Robert Dibble of University of California, Berkeley, sent GDT Tek’s Los Gatos-based chief technology officer, Ralf Horn."
That intrigued me.
Oh, nevermind. I thought Bo was supposed to do a webinar like he did many months ago and post it on their website.
I wouldn't be surprised the webinar was done and is being reviewed by lawyers. A lot has changed since the last webinar.
Seeing that Bo has welcomed journalists to keep tabs on the company as it gets 6 units online should help hold them accountable as well with the media keeping an eye on things.
IMO
Revenue will be required to see GDTK move, IMO.
Thanks TBaggins for the welcome.
I've been a lurker for years. Never had anything to say.
For years it has been GDTK can't get a bid and if it does it's seasonal, GDTK sucks, Al Reda sucks, they're nothing but liars, then mindless pumping, etc. Everybody who has been here long enough has seen it a million times.
Seeing that Steriwave-GDT-Tek are actually on-the-move and doing things has brought me out from hiding.
I've always been confident in GDTK's technology. Seeing that there are even more initiatives now in the energy sector with the JV with Steriwave is very exciting. Just the funding from Steriwave alone I thought was a positive thing. Seeing that the JV is expanding and being proactive is positive.
This is something I don't think even Reda can screw up. I think it has the potential to be that good.
Regular updates on the Steriwave-GTD-Tek website are very nice also as they're letting the public know the general cliff notes of what's going on. And this recent development just came out of left field, I didn't see it coming.
What it truly means at the end of the day for GDTK shareholders remains to be seen, though. But I'm hopeful. Hell, you have to be hopeful if you're holding GDTK.
About that new patent ...
Wow, GDTK just got a lot more interesting. I've been a bag holder since SMWF (I think it was called that?).
So Steriwave-GDT-Tek are to patent a low-loss form of mining methane hydrates?
According to the .PDF file released today, Steriwave-GDT-Tek has intention to build a methane hydrate mining plant and explore opportunities with current and future power companies.
It looks like they intend to do more than simply file a patent and to sit on it.
So we've already got trash to gas power plant stuff with GDTK. Now, they're part of a mining initiative with the hope of going international to provide energy.
Something new every day with GDTK. And things seem to actually be happening with Steriwave and their bank-roll.
If I had spare dollars lying around, even after being a bag holder all this time, I'd feel a lot more confident today with Steriwave on the scene.
I finally feel a lot more confident about my position in GDTK.
Here's some reading material about methane hydrates and what they're about: http://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/green-tech/energy-production/frozen-fuel.htm
