There won't be anything
bad in the filings and the buying will come back in pretty soon.
C L
I just bought
25,000 @ $1.12 - what a bargain.
C L
I think crude oil
bottomed out this morning, so I'm expecting the P M's to start acting better. A little more U S $ weakness and we'll be on a roll.
C L
"financials will be released?"
Last I heard, he was expecting the '05 stuff to be ready around the end of Jan.
C L
PM's def
following oil today. IMO we are seeing bottoming action in the energy sector. If that turns out to be correct, the metals should get out of the malaise it's been in.
C L
Yup, and the stock price
is reflecting that. One of these days it's going to make a big jump.
C L
Gold is tracking
mostly with the U S $ and to a lesser extent with crude oil (energy complex). It's been in a fairly tight channel between $605 and say $640. I was hoping for a sell-off to the $595 area before the next leg up. IMO, it will break out of that channel pretty soon, and it's too early to tell which direction it will take.
I think the correction in the energy complex is about over, if that's accurate, the odds are that the PM's will break higher. TRGD does it's own thing, most days, because it's still way under-valued. The next month is going to be very interesting, to say the least.
If there's anything to TARA minerals production soon, we should all have a pleasant time.
C L
Excellent post, as usual
You write very well and clearly. Glad you're here on the board.

Does it usually do such low volume?
C L
Prior operating costs were about $290/oz. They are expecting to be more efficient this time.
Most of what TARA gets out of it will go to our bottom line. That's the big advantage of how Rich structures these JV's.
C L
Those numbers are
all scrunched up, but it looks like there's a lot of oz's of Au. You expect low grade ore with a heap leach operation, so point 4 g/t is not bad. The advantage of heap leach is very lower set-up and labor cost. The tonnage is already on the pad. Probably just need to get the pumping and pipe distribution system in place and turn it on. While the percolation is going on, you start working on the recovery system.
It looks like it was halted all day long. Would we expect it to trade tomorrow?
C L
Great story all right
Rich is a genius.. If they put out XX$ of sales, they won't even need any compliant reports, drilling or any of the other things that go along with big mining projects. Most of the drilling, ananlysis, etc are used to calc reserves.
I've alway wondered why other small miners didn't work that way.
C L
That's certainly true
since the third week in Sept. Nice run, gets the RSI into way overbought territory, consolidates, and then we start up again.
C L
Beautiful Chart
Higher highs and higher lows. RSI about 57 now.

Sounds good
Looks like we're in another consolidation period here.
C L
Good call, Bobwins
Approx 34 mil total in the O/S.. The mining infrastructure in that part of Mexico is excellent, so it may go quicker than anybody imagines. Good news for TRGD.
"Tara intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from the current financing towards preliminary engineering, production design, and equipment purchases in an effort to realize revenue from the processing of ore from the above two projects."
C L
It's likely a moot point, in either case. The O/S will be very small and if the tradeable float is about 4 million shares - that's miniscule.
When the cash flow starts, it should get exciting for TRGD holders.
C L
Bob, As I understand this, there's 30 mil total with about 4 mil of the 30 going to the PP buyers. That would leave 26 mil still owned by TARA. It's possible that he would spin off part of the 26 mil to TARA Gold SH.
When cash flow starts from the minerals, it should give TRGD a big push. Really exciting possibilities here.
C L
You're mis-understanding
the situation. The capital raised is Minerals stock being sold, not TARA Gold. There will be 30 mil Minerals stock, part of that was sold in the PP. The remainder of the PP stock stays inside TARA Gold.
C L
Mining companies are
valued by their reserves (goods in the ground). We have very large $ value in the ground, that is being constantly enlarged, via the drill and trenching. It's anybody's guess what the final value will be, as there is still a lot of drilling to come.
The closer we get to production, the higher the value the market should give us/oz in the ground.
C L
Gold up $2 overseas
if we see strength on Monday, TARA should get thru this correction pretty soon.
C L
Dennis Gartman was on CNBC
this morning. He's made some great calls on the base metals. He thinks sellers won't be able to push SPOT Au any further down than about $595.
C L
We're finally getting the ------------------------------------------------------- pullback in the PM's. Too many Au bulls out there and too many U S $ bears. Need some pain to get rid of the fair weather sailors. Will be interesting to see what happens when/if gold hits $600
C L
That's right, trenching ------------------------------------------ points the way for the drill. Over all, the drilling results could be called "bonanza grade". There were some poor holes, and that's to be expected.
C L
We've had a pretty big % move, might be time for some consolidation.
C L
From Paramount web-site: ------------------------------------------
"2007 plan is to drill test the entire 8kms of strike as well as other targets and infill drill to upgrade current resource"
If the rest of that strike zone is as good as what they've drilled so far, both stocks should be above $5.00
C L
Nice day so far -------------------------------------
Gold off big, TARA up a bit. Get rid of the profit takers, welcome some new folks. Life is good.
C L
Creede, Took me awhile to figure out how to do this:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ta?t=3m&s=GLD&l=on&z=m&q=l&c=nem
Now you see how NEM is no longer leading the price of the metal? You can put ABX or AUY in there and probably get the same situation. Now, Au off quite a bit, this is beginning to look like a key reversal day. Probably won't have muxh of an effect on TARA and I would look for good support at about $600 on Au - if it gets down that far.. Too many bulls out there right now, need some pain to get rid of the light weights.

Gold has made a big move in the last 2 weeks and the large cap miners have barely budged. In a true bull market, the stocks lead the metals...
C L
Gold making a nice move today. The large cap miners have not acted well the last 2 weeks. If they don't start following the metal better, they will be predicting that this is a false break-out in Au.

Those #'s are excellent. They aren't very deep, so their only real use is to guide the drill rig. Saves time and money.
C L
Excellent prognosis, Bobwins.
I hope you're right on our partners, means good things for TARA. I just can't get excited about the others. Have such a huge profit on this one. If I make too much $, the gumint will want a bigger piece.
C L
It seems likely to me that TARA's moves will make the JV partners look like chump change, with all we have going on. Not that I don't want them to do well.
Best to all of you.
C L
There's no connection between drake and TARA.. They are a bunch of flakes and he blew em off.
C L
The lowest I remember after Rich took over was about .036 .
I had a lot of it at a little over 6 and didn't get any that cheap.
C L
Good post Creede, fortunately some very large buyers are long term oriented - looking for the big move to come. We have attracted some short term money, but that's all part of the market. I know a guy back East that bought 100K shares about a $ and resold them for a $20K profit in 4 days. They help provide liquidity and that's a good thing. Now with Europe getting involved, I expect we have a muuuuch larger S H base. That's the real answer, wider exposure.
Roll on, TARA
C L
RSI above 70 again and the stock price above the upper Bollinger Band. Normally a danger sign, but as we've seen in the past, TARA can stay overbought for weeks. An interesting quandry.
