A proprietary product and orders will move the stock price way before profit becomes a reality. Profit will then propel the stock.
I believe Arista falls into that category.
Wow!!! Absence of announcements is followed by two in one day:
1) Bill Schmitz, President and CEO, will present to institutional investors and analysts at the 2012 Western New York Investors Conference that will be held at the Buffalo Marriott Niagara on Friday, September 28, 2012, in Buffalo, New York.
2) Due to its SUCCESSFUL completion of Phase One, Arista Power will be demonstrating Phase One at an energy security event at the Pentagon next week, October 2nd through 4th, 2012.

This partnership with Helios Solar Works appears to be a much larger relationship than is being portrayed in the news we have been shown.
Further investigation indicates that Helios Solar Works is associated with SAPsolar Heliene Alliance – an international network of solar module manufacturing sites.
These production sites include the Helios plant in Milwaukee along with a plant in Canada, France and Spain.

Appreciate your input on QS compensation disclosure. As you said, you found no indication that QS was paid for the published articles.
That being said, would it not be reasonable for a company PR department to moderately remunerate outside sources to help publicize one’s products, accomplishments and expectations?
Apparently the QS article has caught the eye of International Business Times and Topix web sites. Everything comes at a cost, even publicity.
