Selfish insiders plus Chinese oppression leaves a little hope for us. Nonetheless, all things are possible with God —so I keep praying about it—the Philippines needs it’s a oil and gas. These discoveries are in Filipino national territory. Pray that God will remove the oppression of the Chinese, and that the Philippines will be allowed to use their own natural resources. Then, perhaps, we, too, will prosper.
Is there any other practical choice other than that of voting for these three designated directors?
what do you hope to gain by attending the meeting in person?
I have a couple of million shares. Could I be of any help?
I will hold my 2,000,000 share position. And, I will double my position if the price breaks down. Manila & the Philippines must have access to this resource ( The Reed Bank / C-72 ). If necessary, the Philippines will have to deal with China.
What happened to NIDOF? Down 55 % in one day --with only a few hundred shares traded???
As China becomes more and more threatening; the big oil companies will not want to be at risk making farm in agreements.
Isn't 12000 x $100.00= $1200000.00? That is 1.2 million dollars in a day, right? If so, 1.2 million x 365 days = 438 million dollars per year. 2% of which, is $8760000.00.
Nice to have you back, Styl!
Your thinking was missed!
Isn't First Pacific Co. ( FPAFY ) the ultimate owner of PHILEX? FPAFY is a Hong Kong listed company. Doesn't this put the Chinese in a position of de facto ownership of PHILEX and FECOF? If so, the struggle is more about the Chinese attempting to extend their territorial dominion. Maybe a working solution lays in answering this question: ' What concession can the Philippines make to appease the Chinese? ' Other than appeasement; another strategy seems to be in play. And, that is a legal one. If the world will support the legality of the Philippines' 200 mile territorial claim. Then the Chinese will be at fault if they used force to stop a drilling rig working in SC-72. If the rig is owned by an American company and if the US Navy is already guarding the rig-the Chinese maybe stalemated.
I pray God will intervene on behalf of the Philippines.
After much prayer, at last Otto Energy is going to dril! And, I have great expectations that God will grant success. But my attitude of hope (that a great find will be forthcoming) is not being reflected in the price of Otto Energy's stock? Infact, recently, and in the face of this good news; the stock's price has taken a big down turn. How can this anomaly be explained? Does anyone have any insight into this perverse turn of events? Please explain?
I contacted NIDO again by E-Mail about my inability to buy their stock here in America. The next day my standing buy order for 200000 shares was executed.
FECOF has a signifant Jr. Partner relationship with NIDO which might payoff. For this reason, I have, also, slowly built a position in NIDO. This day's trading is climaxed by a 108,000 share trade done at 10:07 PM this evening @ 0.035 cents. Consider this I have had a standing order in @ 0.0251 for many days while the stock traded in small amounts at 2 cents. I was never able to get a trade even though my bid was well above the actual trading price. And, now this, an after hours trade at 0.035 cents. A few months ago, I sent the company ( NIDO ) an E-Mail advising them of how difficult it was to acquired their stock. Shortly there after, I was able to buy a sizable position at the ( then ) market price.
Let's pause and consider the other assets of Forum. Form's web site lists Form as having holdings in C-72 plus 9 other Philippine service contracts. Is there any way to assign a value to these other contracts? And there by make a better estimate as to the total worth of FECOF??? Is the company on schedule in developing its' other contracts???
I say again, " Now you know why there are wars. "
I've long, quietly had the thought, that if someone would just step up and drill a well. You know, just have the guts to do it! And, really hit it big. This would be too good to spoil and too good to miss out on! The approach mentioned--quote, "...a few more multinationals in the area though might help..." strikes me as a worth while direction to take. What I mean is--trying to elevate the role of interested corporations---into that of intermediators. Interested companies might be able to formulate a reward process so attractive that the national states would accede--as each claimant nation urgently needs access to the resources in the South China Sea. If presented right, need might trump nationalism.
Nidof, ottof, and fecof all have service contracts with great potential. By regional association good news for one is good for the group.
There is no news like good news!
Now you know why there are wars.
Why be so quick to take a buy out? Only 20 cents ? How about one dollar per share? Wouldn't we be better off to own our share of the oil and gas field?
Truth what is truth? As soon as an exploratory well produces oil & gas-- that will be the truth!
Go to philstar.com and read the article entitled, " Spratlys, other contested areas have limited resources.
I recently read that during 2014 an exploratory well will be drilled in a part of C-72 which is not claimed by China. This was in a Filipino newspaper. When Ivette time I'll try to find the article.
50 cents a share is not enough. This is a major oil and gas find. Can any one present a rational for an appropriate buy out offer?
Styl, it seems that you have summarized the known variables well. There are probable significant unknowns operating, too. When you don't know what to--if you wait long enough--some change will occur. Then, a better judgement about the situation can made.
Would some one explain why the stock price for fecof is not 25 percent of the trading price for Forum?
Greetings to you styl,
Your comments have been a continous source of insight for me. I want to thank you for your having so often shared your considered opinion with this board's readers.
I have accumulated 2,000,000 of FECOF--all shares bought under .02 cents. I believe oil and gas probably exists in SC-72 as hoped. More over, it is a matter of great national importance to the Philippines to have the benifit of this energy. I pray that God will grant the Philippines and, of course, to all of us--the FECOF investors-- GREAT SUCCESS in this adventure.
The Best to you,
freesilver
I pray God will bless us and the Philippines. Freesilver
